The best point of contact is via email. Im not sure who is in charge of the emails they receive but any questions I have ever had about Child Support they email me back as soon as possible. Even Medicaid and FS. That Department emails right back. Give them a couple minutes and they usually respond back in less than 20 mins. Just keep checking your email. Also, the chat works good as well. Either way it goes your gonna have too wait at some point but from personal experience I have always gotten faster responses through email or chat.
HORRIBLE place!! Shut this place down!! Employees and Supervisors are extremely rude to customers!! Supervisors act on behalf of the Judges and make rulings for child support orders because they are lazy and refuse to work on child support cases. They do not like women getting child support at this office and are extremely rude to women!! Horrible!

Very poorly. The lines are always devastating long. I stood in line 1 hour and 15 minutes just to be turned around. I ask to speak with someone and was told no. They need better staff with more effective communication.
Very clean facility, prompt service for the elderly, disabled and non immigrant families. Alongside the security personal, the constant monitoring of the property made you feel secure at all times.

I wish that I could rate their service lower than this. Dougherty County DFCS office has the poorest service of all the DFCS offices Ive ever sought services from. These workers here exhaust themselves to avoid assisting their clients. Why so much laziness in the staff? Im not saying all of them are like that, there are a few helpful ones. All in all, this place needs an employee or a motive overhaul.
They handle Medicaid, food stamps, and child support. It is best to come early, if not there is a really long line and you have to wait over an hour to be seen. Once you are seen, the employees are friendly and try to help you out the best that they can.
The application took a while to fill out but the line moved VERY fast!
I dont hate this place, because at one time in my life I hade no other choice but to depend upon the assistance of those people that this place they helped me until I was able to help myself so all I can say is thank you
I dont even know were to start i cant wait to get a good paying job so i want have to be worried about this i have been calling all day long all morning none stop i have probably called 50 times and i have got not one person on the phone not one no one has helped with my case and all i wanna know is why my deposit hasnt dropped Thanksgiving is right around the corner i wanna feed my family a good meal to i am so sick and tired i have never meet so many people in my life that doesnt care and do stuff on there own time i forgot they dont need us we need them so it doesnt matter how they treat you get it when you get it i got so upset i started crying because i just got my first place and i might not even be able to make my family a good Thanksgiving dinner ugh
Everyone is so rude. Your case worker NEVER returns calls, or sends you to a supervisor whos mailbox is full, so its pointless to even try callingOperator station is Rude!! Not helpful. People at the front desks hate their Jobs and it shows 100%This place is awful. Unfortunately its the only place that offers help. Would be nice if they actually put in effort.

DFCS does not Place kids improper care my kids was taken by them and place with a foster parent and was beaten.... my twin girls been in the system one of thems going deaf and they havent seek medical attention for her so what kind of custody are they in.... nothing is done about it it just looks past that and it shouldnt it should be investigated.....police and courts are all together the government and the state is just nasty and so is DFCS fed 10 makes a year.....still no hearing aids for my daughter
I printed out and completed my application from the website. I went to the building to drop my papers off, but I still had to stand in this long line! What was the point?! Ill tell you...the point was to save time. This is unprofessional and bad customer service. Please do better. Thank you.

Instead of being able to see a Caseworker first I had to fill paperwork of the Computer which was very Difficult and I had 2 ELDERLY People with My that had Bad Health Issues. I didnt have a Day. What if the got Sick before I speak to Someone about Helping US. Well I didnt get Any Help At All

They are IMPOSSIBLE to reach, dont return calls, Tell you one thing, in front of the judge, and do another! They supposed to set visitation each month and I havent seen my Babyz since December. I havent seen one of them at all. They contradict themselves, just to TRY and cover theyre OWN butts.! They say theyre for the children, but theyre ONLY for the funds! Im Sorry I even came to Albany GA. And I thought it was bad in NJ. At least they had a better system connection.! These people will straight out lie to you, just to get you out of their face! Lord help these children because this system CANT CARE!
These group of people seem to have there on and off days. More days off than on, some of the staff are lazy and do the least they can do to help or be of any service. While others tend to do whatever they can and provide real customer service. I have had one caseworker who did whatever and made sure I had everything or knew what I needed. Now what I got now is a mess Im still waiting for her to look at my case.

Turned off stamps with no warning. Only told about interview after the fact. Impossible to reach case worker because mailbox is always full. Had to call the local number rather than the case workers number in order to actually reach someone. Stress from this experience is making me sick.
