Great optical experience with the people. The mask caused problems during the examination because my glasses and the equipment kept fogging up. The examinors said sorry just do your best and so will we.Josh the person I spoke with while ordering my new glasses was FANTASTIC! Great customer service.

Biased since I work here 😂But yeah genuinely a great store, helpful employees, and the best selection of high-end products prices around. Plus awesome extended warranty for free on all your electronics.As for the food all I can say is wow. Definitely try the pumpkin pie when its in season. And dont forget to grab a hot dog or a pizza on your way out

Most everything is fairly priced, but some are higher than other local stores. You need to know your prices!Employees are kind, and helpful.I go every few weeks.

Today, Its 2 star rating. I have never felt so humiliated and undervalued as a customer in my entire life. The front end manager, I believe his name was Jerry, totally disregarded, ignored, and walked away mid sentence while I was asking for some assistance. I am currently in a fracture boot for a severely busted up ankle and had walked the store several times searching for a particular item. I approached him to see if maybe someone could assist in getting it for me. He and another employee looked at each other and the manager took off while the other employee stood there totally ignoring me. So I made my way back to the other end of the j, found what I needed, came back to the front, approached the manager for assistance again, only to get more of the same treatment. I left the store in tears. Bad day? No, very bad customer service IMO. I shop there sometimes 4 or 5 times a day with large orders as a personal shopper on the Instacart Platform. For that reason only, I will return to that particular Costco. Otherwise, no thank you.

I love Costco and am a premium member. Having the unique items from a list of food items to clothes, merchandise and gas station and tire shop. Who needs a walmart unless youre buying for one.

Costco rocks! If you have a big family or just really like buying things in larger portions. Or maybe even just like good deals Costco is where it’s at. They have the best rotisserie chicken and the best food court for cheap 1.50 hotdogs and pie. Their executive membership is amazing. If you just went with the basic $60 a year membership and they notice you do a lot more shopping and could benefit from the exclusive membership. They will tell you that you could get money back. It’s amazing. Basically if you shop there enough you can get enough money back to pay for the membership itself, or even more then that. And if you don’t shop enough. Costco will reimburse you for the membership price. What a business. They are always helpful and really nice workers there. Samples are a great way to allow people to try before you buy. Not sure why other stores haven’t taken on to any of these ideas. Costco does it right.

I love going to this place for my croissant sandwich and salad and they always have good deals on my soda that I buy for the month

I know the store is probably too big for mask police to be effective but I saw several people not wearing masks. This is during a mask mandate and with over 400 cases of COVID being reported in Linn County yesterday (where I was shopping) and an outbreak in Lane county among the employees. Doesnt instil much confidence.

Sure, its a huge store and sometimes the other shoppers there arent great (Ive had a couple unfortunate experiences of misogyny from other shoppers), but their customer service is genuinely amazing and theyve got great prices. Theyre also totally willing to take returns with no questions asked and will troubleshoot with you on electronics bought there. Never buying a laptop anywhere else again because no where else gives the kind of security in that purchase that Costco does.

I swear, I spend too much every time I go to Costco. So many great deals, but what makes this Costco awesome are the staff! Super kind people.

Costco! Everyone loves Costco for all the right reasons! Quality products and quality service with exceptional stopper for their products and to top off they have a wonderful return policy! Can’t go wrong with Costco. This one is just as clean and wonderful of a super as you would expect.

The store of course is just like every other Costco, friendly staff, long lines, buying too much stuff. The only thing frustrating is the people of Albany who are.. very vocal.. against any sort of health measurements to assist in protecting the lives of those vulnerable to a virus in a pandemic. Dont expect to see another human wearing a mask for your safety besides perhaps the persons behind the nest counter.

Umm hello who doesnt love Costco. About this location, though, I have encountered several instances where the price labels are not matched with the correct product, leading to accidentally buying onions that were not actually organic, and buying the wrong dishwasher detergent.

Our go to for big events. Everything we need is here. You can shop for less $$ but for one stop it is perfect.

The selection and quality of the items on my list were excellent, as expected. I appreciate the quick, self-check area.

I went to this Costco on the way home from work. LOVE the parking lot, I dont feel like I am going to die or get hit by someone not paying attention like the same Costco.

The unique thing about the Albany Costco is thats it not as busy as most of them, especially on weekdays. It can still attract a big crowd during the day on weekends, but certainly not as big as other nearby stores (ie. Eugene, Salem). Otherwise, same great vibe and service as other locations.

Some things are a good deal, others not so much, especially if youre going to throw away half of the bucket of mayo you dont use in time. Kirkland Signature products are top of the line quality (I manufactured one of their food products for several years). You cant beat the quality for price of the tp and paper towels. Be smart with your purchases, but shop there regularly. Lines will be long during the evening, so go during the morning.

Fairly well designed Costco. Easy to get to gas station only if desired. Parking lot is better set up than Salems. Though an additional exit wouldve helpful during busy times.Decently staffed during current Covid times. Appreciate additional precautions taken in Hearing Center and Eye Center. However Eye Center need an area for patients to be able to stand that isnt in the aisle and in the way of shoppers.Need to have a line manager to enforce social distancing during peak times.

First time at Costco. I bought a black card. I loved the people who helped start my membership. I loved the store and the prices. But one thing that needs improvement is the customer service at self check out. She didnt need help so they took her help away (to go be a very needed cashier) and then she needed the help(which she stated out loud to a chstomer) she was upset about it and was just very sharp, rude and stubby. And Im leaving most her comments out. When the help came back she ended up helping us and was very nice. So the lines need improvement and some customer service needs a reminder what customer service is about and for. Other then that I loved my time there. I really hope customer service doesnt ruin this awesome place for me.

Great selection for all types of cuisines. Like to make your own? Top quality ingredients, especially in the meat market. Like the convenience of premade but still want to explore different cuisines? They have that too. Top quality cooking tools at good prices. I love shopping at Costco!

Love Costco and I appreciate they are not requiring all their customers to wear masks. They do ask if you are CDC compliant and thats it.

Truly a bulk purchasing experience in not just for food, but for other items that tend to have much lower prices than retail department stores.One thing that would definitely benefit shoppers is the ability to buy and pick up or utilize the app to scan and go for quick in and out.Can someone look into this and run it up for the option. Im sure the market would really enjoy these options.

I’m never shopping here again. One of the worst experiences and inconveniences since Salem Volkswagen lost my check and didn’t tell me for two months.I made an online order for two items. Air pods and an Apple Watch. I was shopping for store pickup and the website reflected that the Albany location had the items in stock. I later noticed that one of the items had shipping attached to it. So I called them, gave them my order number and they said that the item in question was out of stock at that store but I could call Costco online and have them either expedite the item to the store or redirected to a shipping address and that I can come in at any time to get the other item. This is only an issue because I’m leaving the state next week.I called Costco online and they told me that they could not expedite the item but I can have it shipped to the address I will be at in Florida. So, I gave them the address. She comes back and tells me it’s not a verified address but I can cancel the order and reorder it and have it shipped to that address….. it makes no sense what so ever. I told her I can add the address to my account and she said that was a no go. I’m getting frustrated by this point and told her to cancel the item and I’ll just go pick up the other one that is here and available since those will be useful on the plane.I called the Albany location back and explained the situation and gave them the order number again and told them that the woman I spoke to 45 min prior (yes the Costco online call took that long) said I can come get the AirPods at any time. The man proceeds to tell me that that isn’t possible because although they have the item in stock the item I ordered was being shipped to the store…. He said I’d have to cancel that order and rebuy the item. What the hell? I cancelled them both and bought the stuff from Walmart and I can pick it up tomorrow.I am beyond frustrated at this point. Dealing with this has made me late by an hour at work, too. So now I get to stay later. Yay. Never buying from here again and will be cancelling my membership. I don’t mean to be a Karen but this is ridiculous.

Many times when I find a product I really like, come back a month later, and they no longer carry that item! I drove over an hour to get Super Foods Veggie Burger, it has kale and lots of good ingredients, PLEASE BRING THIS ITEM BACK! It has been replaced with mediocre choice.

Typical Costco. Well stocked and clean. Pleasant staff. Gas station is at opposite end of parking lot from store. Easy access.

A normal weekend with many customers. I went specifically for 2 on-sale garden hoses. Got em and more. No congestion spots, shoppers pleasant and the short lines, 2 in mine, moved quickly and efficiently. Good experience ☺️

Got a TV from them less than 2 years ago. Had good experiences in store, so I took the chance of trusting the company’s ‘2nd year’ warranty as they call it- they extend electronic warranties by 1 year- and they completely screwed me on it. They won’t send someone to look at it, they won’t let me bring it in to be looked at, and they won’t honor the warranty. They looked at a picture of the screen and just said I applied excess heat to it. Why would I purposely ruin the nicest tv in my house? Why can’t I have someone who does repairs look at it to prove I didn’t apply heat to it? This is the equivalent of being told you poured water down the back of a box set. I will not be renewing my membership, the company doesn’t stand behind you as much as they might like you to think.

Some things are cheaper other places some things are not. I love Costco because they require masks. I can feel safe going in there shopping because there are workers everywhere reminding people to stay 6 ft away from each other. The quality of their product is very good as far as what we purchased. We have never been disappointed. Of course we shop carefully.

Its always fun to visit Costco, but I especially appreciate all of the precautions they take with covid and how nice the staff are.

Not to big like Salem Costco

While I love Costco because I can buy cleaning supplies in bulk and certain groceries in bulk I am definitely not happy with how customers are handled at this store. We have had our membership maybe 6 weeks at this location since we just moved to Oregon recently. I was in the store a few weeks ago and on my way in grabbed 2 things that were by the door that I needed and put them in my buggy. I needed to used the restroom so off I go to the other side of the store and I parked my buggy by the register near the restrooms. As I came out and grabbed my buggy to do more shopping a man comes up and says “have you paid for those ma’am?” My reply was “no I haven’t I’m not done shopping I just needed to use the restroom “ he then said “we don’t allow customers to take merchandise that’s not paid for outside our store”. I have a confused look since I was definitely inside the store and said “no problem” and kept moving. Well today my husband and I went to Costco to do a little shopping and on the way in I said “I’m gonna run to the restroom you grab a buggy and meet me at the snack bar I want to get a ice cream”. So on his way in he grabs 2 bottles of airborne gummies and proceeds to wait for me at the snack bar. While waiting he is approached by a female who says “um are you gonna pay for those” he told her yes I’m waiting for my wife here at the snack bar she’s in the restroom. When I come out and he tells me what happened I got irritated and said “that twice now they have done this we are not thieves damn it!”. He wasn’t gonna say anything but I told him I was because I felt like they are accusing us and that’s not right. So we spoke to her and a supervisor both apologized and that’s fine but there is a much better way to say things to customers. During my conversation with the supervisor he said they ask for unpaid merchandise that’s in a buggy stay behind the yellow lines at the cash registers ... ok fine but tell me how is a customer supposed to know these things last I checked yellow lines don’t talk and there are ZERO signs indicating that. He apologized again and said they were not trying to accuse us of stealing however that’s exactly how it sounded and felt. Now there is a good chance that Costco has lost our business and while we are only one family and it probably won’t make any difference to a large company like you but and I am sure you can guess what happens next. Yup! I will tell a few folks and they will tell a few folks and so on and now Costco may loose more than us you may loose several more members as well as potential members. Your employees need to learn a better way to approach customers. I get that folks steal but not all folks also you can’t get out of your stores with out showing a receipt.

First visit, good impressions. Need to go without the kids. The dresses are cute, although i have yet to research them so i am currently still weary of the quality of the dresses. If someone knows if Ill potentially regret my purchase please inform me. Otherwise Ill be waiting to see, i will either update this after the first few washes or until it has a hole or tear. Or i may forget, dont hold your breath, Im pretty lady.

Good store, as most Costco stores are. The vitamin section needs organization. There is absolutely no order. Its probably a corporate issue, though... other than that, its just like all Costco stores and easy to get around with nice staff.
