I love this place! They always have everything that I didnt know I needed until I got there. Prepare to overspend on great stuff!

I visited recently and had a great experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Being so early in the morning I was surprised they were in such good spirits. But my interactions with all three were wonderful. They helped me find everything I needed. The store has far more things than I expected too and decent prices.

Great overstock store as long as you know when you are actually getting a good deal. If you get stuff there on a regular basis, their crazy deals can save you a ton! Items are sometimes free giving you credit to spend in the store.

Usually not a long line, and theres ample parking. I always find what I didnt know I needed!

Several things to share. They (like most stores) are out of chlorine tabs for swimming pools. They were also out of regular baking soda. While shopping, the cart anti-theft pole hit a cardboard case of 10 boxes of gloves that was protruding over the edge of the top shelf, causing the case to come tumbling down and hit me in the back before crashing to the floor scattering all the boxes of gloves that were in the larger box. I reported it to the manager and made an accident report. The manager showed concern and offered to call for medical attention (I did not think at that time, that professional medical attention was needed. At 12 hours later I do still have pain and there is redness and swelling at the point of impact; but there is nothing that an EMT could have assessed any differently at the time). I pointed out how there were several areas of the store that had boxes hanging over the top shelves that could also be hit by the cart poles that needed to be corrected ASAP. While we were completing the report, the manager already had someone on the floor moving the boxes on the top shelves so they dont stick out. Im not at all happy that the stockers didnt take care to make sure nothing on those top shelves was at risk of being caught by the cart pole; but I did find the managers response after the fact to be appropriate.If this is helpful, click like.

This place is really convenient. Kind of like a dollar store mixed with Aldi. They have a huge variety of inventory in all kinds of departments, some of which rotates and some foods/spices that appear to be regularly stocked. Cant be the prices, Ill definitely go back.

Actually love the store usually go at least once a week, Maybe more but the creepy @$$ security guard, lose prevention guy whatever he is, is really annoying and makes you feel uncomfortable following you around the whole store staring at you pretending to read the the ingredients on products if you look back at him. Not stealing nothing bro and you ain’t catching nobody who is like that

I appreciate the owner replying to my rating. I wasnt going to say much, as usually I do when I give ratings. The thing is, the store itself is great. There are many great deals you can find there. I love the variety of food items and regular items. The quality of the foil pans is good and the variety of kitchen ware.My reason for giving two stars is because the customer service at this particular store at Westgate Plaza. There is a few women associates there that has the craziest attitudes when I enter as if they mistaking me for someone else because we all wear masks now. They dont greet you with hello. Have talk to you in a condensing way when discussing the items your purchasing at cash out. It doesnt make any sense. And I took it as if maybe they were on their menses or having a bad day. But for it to happen the last few times I went into there consecutively, it has driven me to stay clear of that store. I dont need to go there if I feel like driving I can go to Schenectady, they are nice there even though it id out of my way. Its just crazy, I know some have to work two jobs and have to deal with do many people. But that not a reason to treat others in this way. That is why I gave 2 ⭐

A huge variety of products all at reasonable prices. Quality in some is not the greatest. Buyer beware. Check date on food items carefully. Its a fun place to take your time and go through all the aisles. Found just the small whisk I was looking for and yummy lemon cookies.

I have very good luck finding the things I need at a good price. Lots of neat products not found elsewhere. The aisles are a bit crowded, but they really do fit a lot in there!

Im upping my rating to OSJL. They have REALLY excelled during this pandemic. They dont always have what the Big Box stores do, but thats not what they are. They excell at being a Job Lot store. Their service is great. Their people are super-special.And as a Part of the COMMUNITY, they are T.H.E. BEST !!!! They take care of their help. They provided the most essential products and tbey ALWAYS are giving back to the community, whether that be helping Veterans, the Shelters, first responders, kids in need, etc.Their Community Support is why I will ALWAYS shop there FIRST.

Like OSJL a lot. Disorganized to some extent and they often dont get replenishment of my favorite things but its a great place to find some thing I didnt know I needed! Prices are usually even better than Big Lots. Make sure you join their club as the weekly coupons are a chance to get even better prices. They are always on target with seasonal items & they go quick.

Love the store but very messy. Hard to find things. At this time of year great for Xmas bags,kids gloves,hats,that kind of things. You have to get there early to get a good selection.

This week they are advertising vinyl coated steel Garden Stakes, however the garden Stakes are vinyl / plastic with no steal content whatsoever. Due to the false advertisement, they only get three stars from me.

Job Lot is a discount/clearance store and you have to judge it in that context. It does a good job for what it is. It is a no frills store whose inventory changes from month to month. That said, the following departments are always present: clothing (with his & hers sections of t shirts, sweats, sucks and outer wear), kitchen ware, automotive, office supplies, books, toys and health and beauty.By watching their flyers and periodically browsing there, it is possible to secure some very good deals on items like the following, which is a list of stuff I have purchased there: Oster ceramic waffle iron, Oster 4 slice toaster, very nice socks.
