I had a great experience with Dinapoli. I showed up to the wrong office, so I was late to my appointment. Dr Morrissey graciously agreed to see me although he had other appointments scheduled . The office staff was super friendly to everyone and they all ended up staying late to make sure all of the patients got seen. Dr Morrissey was kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend!
The Best ! Mike and the staff are great. I walked in those doors not able to see out my left eye pass my nose and advanced Keratoconus in my right eye.Today I am on my way to 20/20 vision, Mike took time to speak with me threw the whole process from start to where we are headed with a few more tweaks . My vision is amazing today . Mike is by far the best sclera lens fitter I know.The staff are always courteous on phone and when I’m in office .Thank you Mike !
It’s taken YEARS for ONE contact and I just took it it’s technically not even all the way correct yet. They also are charging people up front for hard lenses. ***CDPHP users DO NOT PAY UP FRONT! you’re not supposed to. They make you pay hundreds/ full price up front and then make you bill the claim. My mother works for CDPHP. We billed it but it needs to come from them first. We called the bill department in Delmar. She was upset this happened and said she would handle it that day. Its been 3 months and nothing. She won’t answer our calls or call us back. We called CDPHP member services and she never did what she needed to. Thankfully CDPHP is great and is handling it for me but thats only because my mother is an employee. DO NOT GO HERE, DONT GIVE THEM MONEY, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!
Charged $1000+ to my insurance for one pair of glasses I can’t use. Vision completely blurry. Staff at Stuyvesant Plaza incompetent and phony. Original frames weren’t right and they didn’t bother to even check the order before calling me for pickup. 1000% overpriced. Don’t waste your money, as you can get two pair of glasses you can actually use for the price of one I cannot.
Mike gave me my life back. I have been struggling with keratoconus since I was 18, I’m 38 now and unfortunately was labeled legally blind ...I thought my life was over until I walked into this office. I went in not being able to see 5 -10 feet ahead of me,my life was at a complete standstill, now I am seeing clearer than I have ever seen in my life. I haven’t driven at night in years and now I am able to. Thank you Mike, Christina and the rest of the staff at the Stuyvesant plaza location you all are amazing ! The kindness, patience,care and concern that you have all showed meant and still means the world to me. Walking into the office was the best thing that has ever happened to me !
This is a shout out to Pete who was amazing yesterday! He took me without an appointment and repaired my glasses (which I was told were beyond repair by 3 other eye centers) in under 30 minutes. This is the best customer experience I have ever had! I highly recommend DiNapoli for all your vision needs - their customer service is outstanding!! I am a customer for life now!
Been a patient for 15 years. They always offer the best but not pushy. Everywhere I go people always ask Where did you get your glasses? I am proud to say DiNapoli in Stuyvesant plaza. Staff is very professional.
In short, I am not a customer but I stopped in to see how much a readjustment would cost. Turns out its no charge. They had a wonderful woman named Barbara look at my glasses; she remarked that they were indeed quite bent, the nose pads were too large and she was more than kind to fix it all. On top of that, I made a remark on how much these glasses smudge and how it drives me crazy. Barbara was very informative, the glare protection I received from the other eyeglasses company I went to (looking at you E. vision) - is a generic base glare protection, inclined to have a bad hydrophobic coating on your lenses. Barbara then gave a free bottle and glass lens wipe kit (again, this was free) and said here ya go, this should help!This all happened because I stopped in briefly on my lunch. I was very pleased with their service and hospitality even being a non-customer. In short, I recommend. I would like to return someday as a full customer, I appreciated the whole interaction. And lastly, a solid thank you to Barbara!
I was shopping in the mall and accidentally poked my eye with a tag on a pair of glasses that I was trying on. I went into DiNapoli Opticians and asked if the Dr could take a look at my eye. They were all very professional and helpful. The Dr. was able to fit me in and take care of me. Would recommend this office to everyone!
My college student needed contacts last minute in order to drive home for the holidays and his glasses were broken as well. DiNapoli Opticians came through with a pair of sample lenses they had in stock so he could drive the 200 mile trip home with confidence. Thank you! Thats great service.
Went there for a DMV vision test. They took me right away, even without appointment. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. I dont wear glasses, but if I did, Id definitely go here!
The best sceleral lens fitter. If you have keratoconus before you make any big decisions go see Mike, he is amazing. He has helped restore my vision back to 20 / 20 with these special lenses.My wife also had a very unfortunate eye situation occur, he was able to restore her vision as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
