I don’t usually leave reviews, but I loved this spot. The coffee and sandwich was everything that I thought I needed, but the reason I’m leaving this is because the owner and her daughter were just incredibly kind, hospitable, and genuine. When I travel solo, I’m used to being regarded with a little caution/suspicion or just not really regarded at all—which is okay, I get it, but it can feel isolating over time. But at Mad Coffee they were just so warm; it really lifted my spirits. So I just want to publicly thank them and encourage anyone in the area to give them a visit.

Coffee was delicious and it was easy to find. I loved the decor and theme of the place. The service wasnt good. When I entered the staff was in the back and no one came to greet me. I stood there for about 5 minutes before I left. When u came back there was as woman there who looked like she hated life at the counter. Didnt say anything to me for 2 minutes and when she did it was very to the point and unfriendly sounding. Coffee was wonderful but service bad.

Walked in at about 9:10, over an hour after Google said they open. Didnt have strudel bagels, didnt have CHAI. Got a croissanwich, which was good, if a little odd considering they used sliced hard-boiled egg instead of fried or scrambled. The bacon was nice and crispy (but not overcooked) and the croissant was soft and flaky. Oh wait, they DID have strudel bagels, but only after a handful of bags of bagels were brought to the front(half of which were just store bought, half of which *might* be home made?), and only after they were smell tested by the guy manning the front.I gotta say, this was one of the more bizarre experiences Ive had ordering breakfast. Whoever is running the place opens it up way too late for breakfast/coffee, dont know their own menu, doesnt make sure important items are stocked for the next day, and doesnt update their hours on Google (it wasnt until I sat down to wait on my sandwich that I saw on the BACK of the door, the open time for Saturday, *handwritten*, as 930). Its got the mad-hatter theme going on inside with the decor, which is actually kind of neat, but then theyre playing country music on the stereo.Like I said, bizarre. Good croissanwich, though.

Go here everyday before work for my Iced White Chocolate Mocha.. Love it! They also have really good juice which they juice all the fruits and anything else you would want in a drink. The smoothies and juices are a little pricey but its worth it.

Nice theme and interior wall paint yet WAY over priced in my opinion for the quality. To be fair, I did not try the smoothie selection. I got an iced chai. It is very spacious, but feels like an ice cream parlor.

What a wonderful find!!As a Kiwi not adjusting well to the generic fast food culture I felt like I was coming home when I walked in the Mad Coffee door. Paradise smoothie was just SO good. Muffins were delicious. Staff were friendly & helpful. Loved the Alice in Wonderland theme. We will definitely be returning 😊

I’m pretty sure there isn’t any coffee in my drink. Tastes like powder and ice. Super pricey for what you get. Not sure why this place advertises as organic because many of their products were extremely conventional.

We’re from out of town & stopped here to try some of their coffee. The place is super cute, they have an adorable Alice in wonderland mural outside and the theme continues inside, very cute place! We tried two different drinks and they were both pretty good. The only reason I’m giving it a three star review is the service. The woman working here just looked like she absolutely did not want to be here. On top of that she had an attitude. We will definitely find a different coffee shop while we’re here.

Good coffee. Expensive. Very expensive. Im pretty sure you pay the extra for abuse. Go here if you want to have a good brew and get figuratively slapped around by the owner. Here, the customer is *definitely wrong.*Ive been going here for about 3 years, but after today Im tired of paying extra for nastiness. Id rather pay for bitter coffee at Starbucks than for bitter people at Mad Coffee.

Coffee is really good. I work in the mall so a few times a month I get a latte. The worker is polite every time. I like the fact I can call in my order and by the time I walk over my coffee is made. Prices are ok also.

I live down the road so I go here a lot. I love the flavor of their espresso and their fresh juices and smoothies. I am always satisfied and the workers are friendly. I love supporting local business.

Staff is always very friendly and helpful. They also offer one of the largest beverage sizes in town (32oz vs 20oz). I feel like the overall value for what is offered is pretty substantial. There are a couple of other decent coffee shops in town, but this one definitely has something special going for it. Very quirky place, with interesting and ever-changing aesthetics. I definitely recommend a visit.

Worst coffee Iv ever had. You are better off going to a gas station. Wife and I both threw away full cups of coffee. Guy at the register was rude and was yelling at the lady making the coffee. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

No service. Stood at the counter and no one came to say hi or say they would be right with me. No customer service, was really excited to try this place. I left with no coffee and without even seeing anyone at the counter.

Wonderfully mad!The staff are all absolutely amazing. The coffee is the best in town by far, the juices and smoothies are tasty and refreshing, and the works and mad bowl are perfect breakfasts. The pastries and sandwiches are pretty average, but Im sure that will improve once they move to house made baked goods. Overall, its a fun place to come sit and have a delicious drink or snack and enjoy the art displays or just to make a quick run through the drive through for a pick-me-up.

The coffee is so-so. Sometimes the frappes have poor consistency.(too runny or too icy) I have never waited less than 10 minutes, no matter what I have ordered. Please speed up your service, you will never compete until you do. I think the owner is nice and there is great potential here, but I wont spend any more money there until they hurry up.

Great little funky shop. Had a Dirty Chocolate Chai Frappe, and it was amazing!! Highly highly recommend the Roast Beef Sandwich. Love the home made bread, plus the mustard and horseradish add just the right amount of zip. Visiting from out of town but will definitely be back next time Im in Alamo.

Been on the road and looking for something a little more healthy but still fast? This place is perfect. Coffee is great and oatmeal and yogurt fresh and full of goodies. Staff was very friendly too. Highly recommend!!

Tried for the first time. Got a caramel mocha frappé & it was delicious! They were super nice & helpful. Explained the sizes & told me about the muffins. Got blueberry. Gonna try the chocolate next. Would definitely recommend mad coffee. Nice prices too.

Mad Coffee is the best organic coffee in town. They serve all kinds of different coffee drinks plus fresh fruit drinks including smoothies. They also serve appetizers as well as all kinds of delicious sandwiches (be forworned, they are huge) and of course, all kinds of pastries.

The staff was super nice but my latte w/ almond milk was not very good at all. It mostly tasted of almond milk, pretty weak espresso shot. Also had a roast beef sandwich which was far too expensive for what it actually is. Pretty disappointed that this is one of the best cafés Alamogordo has to offer.

This place has the best coffee in town, lots to choose from and they will also do their best to make any weird flavor concoction you can think of. Not much for coffee? Well they also have a great assortment of juices and shakes, if youre hungry try the monkey sandwich. This place is just great, thank you Jamie T for giving alamogordo qll these amazing treats, and the fact that you offer delivery is a nice touch as well.

We went to their other location by the White Sand mall and our experience was very poor. We ordered frappuccinos which we were told had coffee in them but they absolutely didnt. White and milky like a vanilla bean frap from Starbucks... very clearly no coffee taste and no caffeine!!! Super disappointed and totally not worth the inflated prices. Underwhelming atmosphere as well. Everything seemed to be geared towards their fancy ice creams. Which is weird for a place named Mad COFFEE.

Coffee is great! Only place in town that Ive found with cold brew. Albeit it is on the pricier side. It is quite good. Staff is nice as well.

Great place with friendly people. I got the vegetarian sandwich and it was so good! It is not on the menu, but if you ask for it they will make it for you! The lounge area is very comfy and it has a great view of the mountains as you drink your coffee, eat your food, and surf the web on their free WiFi.

First time in town, great quality coffee/espresso. Great art on the walls good seating and very clean. We will be back when we find ourselves in town.

I love Mad Coffee! Ive been there just a couple times to meet with clients and have had a positive experience each time. The store is clean, cozy, and comfortable and the baristas are friendly, warm, and quick. I love their chai tea! Would definitely recommend to others!

Heres why they call it Mad Coffee: they make you wait so long, you get mad. I saw two other people getting hot under the collar because of the long wait while I waited. The two women staff actually took twelve drink orders before fulfilling any of them, which seems like a template for making customers wait. Interesting.

The people there are really nice and friendly....they have a cool little chill spot and the drinks are really nice same price as starbucks but better taste.

I ordered 4 shots of espresso on ice. Shouldnt be hard to make, but I guess some people dont know how to measure a shot or make coffee. Just wondering where they trained.

What a strange and welcome find in this otherwise forgotten piece of Alamogordo. The juice they made me was just incredible, which is weird because I dont generally even like that sort of thing.

Went by twice now and the website says open all the signs outside the shop and in the window says open but they have been closed every time.

Good Coffee, Fast Internet (5000Kbps+), Friendly Staff, Comfortable Seats, Nice Artwork. I highly recommend this spot if the Cafe Plateau and Starbucks internet is too slow for you. Starbucks internet is just trash. Especially with more than 4 people there. Cafe PLateau used to have a good network but now its sub 500kbps which is unusable for me.My only complaint is the lack of accessible power outlets. Not losing a star over it though. Can easily be fixed with a simple wall strip installation. See Albertsons Starbucks for reference.

This is the best Coffee Shop in to town, hands down! I am just, dare I say, ”Absolutely​ Mad” about this place! Fun atmosphere with a Bohemian artistic vibe, full of art from local artists. This staff is incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming; as well as, knowledgeable about their products, which go far beyond coffee. This is the only place in town that you can get a fresh juice. Try the Jabberwocky, which features fresh turmeric! The secret recipe chai is to die for, especilly as a dirty chocolate chai frappe!
