Absolutely the worst I have ever had. Fries were so greasy and under cooked just solid lump of grease starch that would not come apart. Hamburger was not done. It was not pink but red and blood dripping out of it. This place should be shut down by health department!

The 1 star is for the garlic sauce that came with the jojos. We really enjoyed that... but that was literally about all. When we placed our order the person answering the phone was very rude and they were all cussing on the background blasting loud music.The delivery driver was very sketchy. He came to the door eyes blood shot, glazed and wide open bulging out of his skull. His speech was incoherent like he had been on drugs...he was very confused as to where he was and what he was doing.. we offered to call someone for him but he said he was fine. he also sat in our driveway for 45 minutes after the delivery until my husband had to go out asked him to leave.. just a very strange individual.Place just seems very ghetto... wont be eating there again.

This place has good tasting food but as a a takeout I witnessed a worker in a tank top putting ice cream in an order cup using her bare hands pushing it off the scoop without gloves and without a facemask they have got mask signs everywhere but not one worker had theirs on including the owner, gross!

I had Pinkys Pizza for my sons 36th bday dinner for the first time. Everybody enjoyed the food. Will get it again. Really cheesy pizza!!!

This is a good place for ice cream. Do not care much for the chicken and jojos since they were over cooked and very dry. Liked the thickness of the pizza. Very friendly. Great funnel fries.

Reasonably priced food with a decent variety to choose from, everything that I have had from Pinkys was delicious to me. The ice cream is exceptional with more flavors than I know what to do with. My favorites are: blue moon, cotton candy and cookies and cream.

Used to be a good place to eat and get dessert..changed..different people now..seem to think nothing of letting you wait for over 20 min. for a malt to be made when you are the only ones there...just left without even getting my shake, my buddys took long enough..couldnt afford another 20 min..rediculous!! Never going back

Extremely disappointed! Since changing to Pinkys the quality and service has gone steadily down hill. Cold uncut pizza I waited 1hour and 45 minutes for. Sorry to see you go Nicks. 😣

I like nicks pizza from a economical aspect. They are the only place I can get a sheet pizza from.Their sausage could be more visible. I ordered a sausage and cheese and couldnt hardly see or taste it. Still good value though. I wish I lived within either one of their delivery areas. I live in Lane-Wooster and nobody delivers to my area. I had one place come there and it was in the daytime and after I said I was paying a tip, they got more pleasant but they came with two drivers. even so they had the best pizza I ever tasted.

We went to the ice cream shop, they have a lot of different flavors and items to choose from. We we all happy with the items we picked. Fast friendly service.

Ive known about Pinkys for years and have always enjoyed my experience there. Whenever Im in town I make it a point to always stop. Love from Sacramento to Pinkys in Akron.

They have the very best of food

Nobody was here when I stopped on a hot summer day now I know why. They claim to have 60+ soft serve flavors. The employee gave me a list with maybe a dozen and said she had to make them and that she didn’t have the one I wanted. I don’t know what that means, but i got the impression the employee wasn’t going to It took a long time to get, it wasn’t very good. The place seemed very dirty. The grimy I nflatable waving arms thing out front was so loud I couldn’t hear the employee.

The pizza is really good, and they put a LOT of cheese on it. The prices are fair, as well. The problem is the service. Once, I got the owner. He was really nice, but the next two times I got this older lady who is SO freaking rude. She was short (as in snippy) on the phone when I ordered the pizza and even ruder when I got to the store, kinda actually stuck her nose up in the air (like how youd see on a cartoon show!), and then asked if I wanted to add a tip to my bill. I was picking up the pizza to go! Im not tipping someone for sliding a pizza across a counter! I politely said No, thank you, to which she said Mmm with a little sort of smirk and again with the nose in the air thing! I really wanted to love Nicks because they are so close to me. I was hoping this would be my local, reliable pizza place. I think I might give them one more chance, but I really dont know if its worth it :(

Definitely disappointed... today I ordered a 4piece WHITE and separate order of fries and a pop not only did I wait almost 2hours but when I got my food it was cold they gave me 2wings a SOGGY breast and a drumstick the only thing was good was the pop smh definitely a waste of money and time I spent waiting on that nasty food

I think this is a great go to pizza joint if you are looking for something tasty. It is my go to pizza join, when I am craving just good old pizza. Love it.

Nicks is now called Pinkys Pizza and they now serve ice cream as well. Same great chicken and jojos but the pricing is slightly different. They have an expanded menu with pizza, wings and mall style sandwiches, sweet desserts and ice cream to boot! The Dog Pound steak sandwich is my new favorite item at the moment. The friendly and efficient staff are a reflection of the recent management change. Oh and Visa or Mastercard only at this dope local eatery.

Chicken was dry as hell. Felt like I was eating shoe leather.

I honestly love this place, and have ordered from here weekly. Except for slight delivery problems, the food is exceptional and there hasnt been enough problems for me to stop ordering. This is the primary spot we order from for Firestone Dance and Step Team as well. The kids love it!

Sit in the car with the air conditioner on because the store is far TOO HOT and uncomfortable to wait inside for food. Food is decent. Ive had a burger and fries and ice cream before and what you get for the price is fair. Id order again

Beyond disappointed..I call and place a delivery order..large 2 topping pizza, 12 wings and a 2 litter...my order shows up 38 mins late, they hand me 2 pizzas.I say this isnt right...one of the pizzas are minemy wings and 2 litter are not here, told they will be back in about 30 mins with my correct order.pizza has been sitting under a heater for a while (I have worked at pizza shops, its definitely not fresh) and now I wait 30 more mins for my correct order....and get charged full price...sad thing is I live 2 blocks from this pizza shop.will not be taking my business here anymore, this plase has turned horrible since new ownershipAnd dont worry about offering a 10% off coupons to try and get me to come back.Saving a few dollars isnt worth getting for 30-40 mins late when you have hungry children to feed, the order not being right and having to wait another 30 mins for it to be made again and redelivered.Maybe learn how to run a business properly, or properly compensate when you have a serious error$40 or an order I would of gladly gave to Marrys Pizza, never have ANY issues when I order from them

Nicks USED to be one of the BEST pizza spots in Akron. Like pretty much everything they made was GOOD. Recently theyve changed the way they make alot of their food especially pizza, sauce ad dough different and their now stingy as hell with the meat. This place is going downhill and FAST

Food is great. However, lately the service has been awful. I just ordered a pizza for delivery, paid for it with my credit card, and then was told 2 hours for delivery. I truly feel this information should have been disclosed when I asked if there was delivery tonight. Especially since the past two weeks there hasnt been delivery. I dont have car so this was my option. Really bothers me that the staff has no concern for the consumer. Smh

Nicks used to be a good place to order pizza and sandwiches from. UNTIL they changed ownership last year. I liked the variety, and the service was good. Now, not only does it take an hour and a half to get it delivered, its not near as good as it used to be, food comes either cold, half cooked or greasy (mushrooms, onion rings, cheese stix), out of half the items on the old menu, and never have new menus. It has been several months since I ordered from them. Thought Id give it another shot tonight. Never again. Too bad....

Not sure what happened over the past year or so, but Everytime I order their pizza it comes with something wrong. Its either burnt, or the dough didnt rise, or something. Must be new staff. This is the only place near me with beef pepperoni. Im sad I cant order from them anymore.

We had a disappointment yesterday with a pepperoni sheet pizza. called this morning as they were closed last night and they replaced it free of charge. This time around it was perfect and beautiful!

Nicks pizza and chicken on archwood. Is a great pizza store. Their pizza is handmade. Their chicken is super crispy and their jojos are handmade and cooked to perfection. Dont believe me check it out yourselves. Did I mention they have super quick delivery.

The orders are never right. The food is not the same. The price are a problem now. I used to love Nicks. I came from Detroit Michigan it was the best since back home. But now I hate to spend my money.

I really wish I would of known they changed how they made their pizza. I just ordered a large deluxe pizza and when I opened the box I was shocked to see how little it was compared to what their large pizza use to be. I thought well maybe it still tastes the same. I was wrong I forced myself to eat a half of slice. The sauce was very sour tasting, there was barely any meat on it. There for a min I thought I got someone elses order it was mainly black olives and hard cheese. It was so bad that my two year old boys wouldnt even eat it and they eat anything! This used to be our favorite place to get pizza but not anymore.

This business is below standard, Ive heard they dont pay their employees, its dirty internally, they dont rotate food in cooler and the cooked food is awful. I would recommend eating at a different place . Ive tried the chicken, spaghetti and jo-jos never again it was awful. I will be reporting them to BBB, OSHA, WAGES & HOURLY the owner should be embarrased...shame on you!!!!

The food was great except I didnt care for the Jojos . The sheet pizza was great . Also the owner delivered our food because he had an issue with his delivery driver the owner was funny and very nice . Our food was delivered in the time they quoted me but it took about an hour an a half the owner gave us some of our money back do to the delay. I believe we will eat here again.

Everytime I have come to this establishment it takes forever and the food, in my opinion is just mediocre. I do have to admit, the staff is always friendly when I do go there.

I could not believe the change in Nicks great tasting pizza and chicken just turned straight to garbage in my kitchen! I received a large pizza and a 4 piece dinner which was hot and disgusting. The pizza dough was noticeably smaller, The melting stringy cheese after every bite was replaced with something that had no flavor. The chicken had feathered hair cooked into the crust, so this told me that it wasnt prepped before cooking! That was a crack head meal! 3/02/2017

Weve been ordering from here for years, and its honestly some of the best pizza in Akron. Odd that its in a little hole in the wall ice cream shop, but yeah, its the real deal.

I work at nicks pizza in norton and the people here on archwood use frozen dough are you kidding me. We have a buffet and we are not rude and have so much more product and customer service experience. Please try us out. We do not have an online menu it isnt ours.

Never been in all my years. Just fun and good. My 2 year old waved by to the big crazy red airblown Gumby he was so happy. Not far for after Hoban sporting events ehich is what we did.

My experience was horrible i asked for a sauce on my chicken when i got my food chicken was not what i asked for. I called back and the women on the food said she would not make my order and she didnt care that i was no longer a customer. I didnt want refund i just wanted my order to be correct.

So I called in an order for delivery. I do not know what their range is but my business is only 1.5 Miles away. The driver just has to make a left out of the Pizza Shop and then make a left at Kelly Ave.. I am literally down the road. So I am giving two stars because one of two things happened. One is because their delivery service has a short range or two is someone was angry and lied to me and said I was not in their delivery range.

Havent been there in over a year and a half but every time you call the older lady with the raspy voice ALWAYS has an attitude. Ordered an order of fries they were still $2.95 however you use to get a large box full now you have a box with half of the fries but the same price. Specifically asked if the fries would feed 2-3 people (because they use to) and was told they will feed 2 nothing but lies they werent enough for a frickin toddler. Wont be back.Received condescending dosent really care reply that statedCHEAP NEW OWNERS WHAT WAS ONCE GOOD IS NOW GONEBEWARE If they are stating they are cheap they are probably cutting corners in every way imaginable. Go to Gioninos.

Not even worth one star! Called in for a delivery was put on hold for 6.5 minutes, had to repeat my information 4 times. Waited 1 Hour and 48 minutes for my food to get here. It was cold and the chicken was not cooked all the way. Called to speak to a manager and was told that is not possible at the time and call another time.
