Second time visiting this store. Zero complaints. They’ve been great! Alex was awesome in helping me trade in my old phone and changing our plan. He answered all of our questions and spoke in a way that was easily understood in what he was doing/what was going on. Very professional and easy to talk to! I will never go back to the previous Verizon store I had been going to. This is my new Verizon store! Keep up the good work guys!
Went to the Arlington Ridge Verizon location and was helped by Alex. He helped me recover some information in my phone that I thought was lost. He also helped me pick out some phone accessories. Excellent customer service.

Im usually not happy about cell phones and cellphone companies. Still dont like cellphones in general. But since I must have one im glad I went here. Got a very good phone for a fair price. Great attitudes all around. Life is weird and frustrating right now. But I was actually relieved when I left the store. It was a very good experience. Great place to get your new cell phone service at I got a great deal on all new high end phones. Customer service was excellent and they were very helpful and answered all my questions thoroughly. I even got a great deal on my trade in phone and was able to buy some nice accessories for the whole family. Go here if you need to switch service you wont be disappointed.

Russell Cellular is not an honest company and they will deceive you! I purchased a phone for a great price there and when I received my bill there were charges that were not discussed. I called to have the charges removed, but they refused to remove them. I called Verizon Corporate and they said that Russell Cellar is privately owned, unfortunately, and that Russell Cellar is the only one that can help. Please beware and dont go there!

Unfriendly staff! As soon as I walked in the door the young lady at the door was rude and annoyed to have another customer. It’s frustrating when you’re prepared to spend a lot of money on multiple iPhones and You don’t feel welcome. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere.

The girl working there is super rude. We ordered a phone through her and she told us it would be there in 3-5 days and it’s a month later and we still have not received it and she has also not called us like she said she was going to. Then she gave me attitude when I tried to call and get information basically telling me she had better stuff to do other than talk to me.

Russell cellular is my favorite cell phone store. They are conveniently located, knowledgeable and very well up to date about the latest services.
The store manager is a rude lady. She wouldn’t help my friend because they were about to close and she lied and said her system was down. And was just super unprofessional about the whole thing and wasn’t event willing to try to do anything to help I don’t recommend this location at all
Charlie helped me transfer all my information from my old broken phone to the new one and was very helpful in explaining all the necessary information involved in getting a new phone and contract Ive had to get countless new phones over the years and this was definitely the quickest Ive gotten through the process . The lady that helped me, had a customer in front of us. The lady was having an awful day. She helped her get a good phone for a good price. Then she came to me and helped me with my issue of changing my phones out. She made it quick and easy. Greatly appreciate it. I wish I remembered her name. Just left will never return. The Manager there I believe the name was Sabie or Sadie. The language that was heard coming from her mouth with customers in clear hearing range. What a great spokeswoman for the company you have there.

These guys - Colin and Anthony stayed late and I so much appreciate them transferring over my 88 year old moms phone from SPECTRUM to VERIZON so she could keep the number shes had for over 60 years!!Spectrum couldnt do it. Mom just went from her home of 60+ years to Assisted Living and isnt too pleased BUT at least she will have her same phone number so her 7 remaining friends dont have to look up another number.Thank you VERIZON!!

Ehh, it was easy to get a phone case but when it came to the checkout it felt as if they take advantage of your money. Clearly most plans or even all of them come with an accesory discount yet this store will not go the exgra step to automatically apply that to your bill. You literally have to say, Hey, is there any possible chance to get my discount that I shouldnt have to be mentioning right now? Way to stick it to the customers who have no idea they get a discount lol. Good place and good workers just dissappointed they wont apply a discount automatically. I mean, Verizon does care about their customer right?
This place is a nightmare. The sales rep (Isaac Dolan is the one i dealt with) lied to my face probably ten different times. My bill is drastically more expensive than we discussed, nothing is actually priced at what they tell you, and complaining gets you nowhere. If you buy the new i-phone theyll offer you a tablet for a dollar and then 10 a month after, dont take it. Itll hike your first bill 50 dollars . Take your business elsewhere. Like, anywhere else. Ive never been so unhappy with any company in my life. Save yourself the headache and tons of money and go to any other company. I hope that my poor experience is just a reflection on this particular location and not Verizon as a whole, but, at this point i dont know. I just know that i want out and Issac is a blatant liar.also, if you look at the other reviews, there are employees rating themselves 5 stars in hopes of boosting their awful score. PATHETIC. The same sales rep i am complaining about reviewed himself 5 stars. unreal.

Wednesday April 3 2019: I have been a Verizon customer for quite a while now and have had to make quite a few visits to various Verizon stores in the past with little to no satisfaction. Today, I visited the 790 Arlington Ridge, russell-cellular, Akron, Ohio store. There I had the honor of meeting Fern Frajia, a wonderfully pleasant lady with a professionalism, and dedication to her work as I have ever seen!! Fern, once again thank you so much for your time and your dedication in resolving the issues I had with my phone or should I say, lack thereof. It is people like you who revive the spirit!!!
Sales associate was nice and knowledgeable. The biggest problem was not offering the same deals that corporate Verizon offers. Verizon was offering a buy one, get one, for the Galaxy S5. This place wouldnt honor it. If you are going to be a Verizon dealer, whether you are a satellite store or corporate, you should offer the same services and deals.

Absolutely rude to my family, myself, and the other customers in there. Employees were texting while we were sitting right in front of them. Mike, an employee, was very unknowledgable and told us we could leave if we didn’t like what he was saying. I was in complete shock at how terrible the service was.
