They checked my warranty for me, took care of all repairs within 24 hours and kept me informed every step of the way... Actually saved me a ton of money from what I was quoted elsewhere. These guys are honest and here to help you.

We purchased an expensive Chevy automobile from VanDevere this past year. Although the automobile itself is very good (thank you Chevy), the level of customer care, customer communication, and after-sale vehicle service at VanDevere was deplorable, among the worst I have ever experienced. They did not do a good job of communicating throughout the sale process or when I had the vehicle in for after-sale service. They missed several obvious defects on the vehicle that they should have proactively caught and fixed. They missed several promise dates/deadlines, often without even telling us, which wasted a lot of our time. The financing process is creepy because they video record you while you sign the paperwork. They totally botched the license plate and registration process, and their excuse was that they didnt realize they were the ones who did the financing (duh). When I escalated these issues to their senior management, I got no response. Last month, I bought my next vehicle from a different dealer in the Akron area, and there was a WORLD of difference in the customer experience. The VanDevere bunch is off my list, permanently. They dont live up to their bunch of advertising at all.P.S. Their free car wash is a gimmick - hard to get in, when its even open, and youre paying for it anyway in the cost of the vehicle. I got an account at the local carwash - easier, better, and cheaper in the long run.

I purchased a 2016 Fiat 500 with approximately 45,000 miles in February 2018. Within the past 2 years & 9 months Ive only added another 15,000. Youd think that my car should run perfectly, right? Wrong. Within the first 5k miles the car out itself into an auto shutdown mode, when I contacted Vandevere they were absolutely no help, and although they advertise a forever warranty and I purchased additional warranty coverage through them they refused to even help me have my vehicle towed to their garage to be fixed. Interesting how they deleted my first review. Car was tolled back the DAY after I bought it. Refused to let me trade it in for another car, all repairs took longer than promised. Unprofessional staff. Not helpful. Sold me a lemon and offered zero help. Do not buy from them. They also lie about their warranty’s and add ons.

On two different occasions now I have been called in for an appointment only to be told that the part in question has not yet been ordered. Their service desk called ME to tell me that they wanted me in for an appointment, and yet when I get in, the service staff tell me they dont have my part and they dont know what theyre doing over at the phone desk. I think thats pretty unacceptable. I live over an hour away from this dealership and only go there because its where I bought my car, but its starting to not be worth it.

So Ive been debating on writing this review for about a month now but I do believe its important to share my experience, being that I am a person who does read reviews on products and services. To make a long story short, took my car in ask them to do a diagnostic on check engine light and fix whatever was causing the light to be on. Vandevere had my car for about 12 days due to the ordering of a part, so therefore I had to get a rental (seeing how they are a car dealership and they do not offer loaner cars) that should of been my first sign. So with that being said I had to pay almost 200.00 for a rental so that I would be able to transport to and from work. At the end of the 12 day waiting period I was called and told my car was ready so I do go and pay the 1500.00 bill and was told everything was good to go(check engineers light is off). Everything SEEMS fine and seeing how I live directly down the road I go straight home, get up in the morning go to work (not even having my vehicle 24 hours!) On the highway to work check engine light pops back on??hmmmm I try to turn on my air conditioner (which was working prior to service) and hot air so I call tell customer service rep my issue and was asked to bring it back to make a longer story even shorter they have my car for the day, call me and tell my they found the issue and will have a quote for me when I pick up my car wait WHAT a quote yes they found the issue as to why the light came back on???? But you were suppose to find the issue when I brought my car to you before and you had it for 12 days! Can you tell me why all of the sudden my air doesnt work I ask the Rep. Oh you need a new compressor (again my air was totally fine before going in!!!) thatll be 1200.00 on top of the 1300.00 for new diagnostics that was found today so another 2500.00 customer service manager tells me there is nothing he can do because new codes can pop up after work is completed but unless than 24 HOURS??? The whole reason for bringing my car is to have all the codes read and fixed!!! after I gave you 1500.00 and 12 days of having my car yeah no not going to happen .So morale of this review DO NOT take your vehicle to Vandevere on V.Odom. They definitely are RIP offs and have no idea on what they are doing!!

I went to the Chevrolet store for my oil change and other routine service today and they are no where near as good as the Kia service station. They were not busy and nobody even acknowledged i was there until Sam Vandavere came out and said something. Everyone went along with what they were doing even though I was a paying customer. The worst part is they werent even busy up front so one of the 3 people could have acknowledged me. Then it being my first time at this location they tell me to wait but didnt even show me where to go. I have seen the Kia store so busy and everyone was still friendly and made me feel like the most important person there, multiple times. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed in my visit today.
