Spotted a Nissan Rogue SV 2017 at this dealership on Cargurus. Exchanged a few emails with Tahir where we asked very specific questions about the car and got somewhat precise answers. Once we got to the dealership (1h drive, one way) we found out that the car was not the same as advertised. It was an S trim and not an SV. Some of the specs were not matching what Tahir had confirmed to us by email either. The mechanic who showed us the car was friendly and did apologize. We just thought we got misinformed and decided to leave. This was a waste of time for us and not a good experience. Hope you have better luck than we did.

Didnt buy from this guy because they had a car listed for $7495.00 on Car Guru. So I decided I wanted the car but they told me the price was NOW $7995.00. Looks to me like they try to MILK CUSTOMERS.I wouldnt trust these guys and Ive read other reviews saying the same thing.So I went and got another car (same year, make, & model) With 16k LESS miles for $7995.00 From a well respected dealership.

I had spent 2 months car shopping and couldnt find anything nice AND affordable- until I found this dealership. Fast and easy to work with, super friendly and very accommodating. I work late and they stayed open late 2 nights in a row so I could see a car I like. Very professional as well and I got my car within 2 days! Do not purchase an auto here. This place of business appears to be more of an auto body place that perhaps buy low grade autos that look decent but have serious mechanic issues. Buyers be aware.

Great to do business with. Bought a good car at a fair price, but had a few problems after we got it home. Tahir took care of everything and kept his word. Straight forward honest guy. I will buy another car from him for sure.

Had an appointment to test drive a Mazda. Got a ride from a friend of mine because of the promising reviews. I get to the dealer and even though I had an appointment I was told the car was at another garage. I waited no more than 10 minutes for the car to get there so that wasn’t the issue. The issue was that the car had to be jump started to test drive and that it had a check engine light. Disappointed I wasted the hour to come out here from Rogers Park only to test drive a car with a light on and battery issues.

Great place! Got my timing belt and water pump replaced from them at a great price. I also asked them to do my valve adjustment and they definitely improved it but it still ticks at low Rpms. Other than my slight valve tick, Id recommend this place.

Great guy. Definantilly backs up his cars. Found the car I wanted online. I set up a time to come see it. I brough a friend who is a mechanic with me to go look at it. When I got there found it had a check engine light on. Other then that I really liked the car. With an agreement to resolve the check engine light I bought the car and paid a portion of the price. Waited for him to order the part. A few days after driving it i noticed a shake in the steering wheel. Took it to check checked and found the problem. Told him about it and he offered to also reimburse me for the part and take it for an alignment. Currently now waiting for my car fixed and have a loaner free of charge from dealer.

Best place to buy the car. I bought used car 2012 Toyota Corolla 2 years back. I drove almost 70K miles in 2 years and didn’t have any issues with my car until at this point of time. The reason to write review right now is to show how thankful I am to Tahir. This is the best car investment I did. If you buy a car here, make sure you pay $30 to a different company to have a look at the car.At first, theyre nice. Thats until you buy the car, they then ask you to write a review on the spot if you can. And I do that. A few days later the issues show up. Tahir then gives off that vibe and tone of voice, like he doesnt want to help. So instead of dealing with the dealer that probably knew about the problem but hoped I missed it, I decided to have a local repair shop inspect my vehicle for $30.I took it in for a $30 vehicle inspection from a different company. Here are the issues they found:1. The engine shuts off if the aux music port is plugged in. They have no idea whats causing this.2. The car was completely repainted, but it did not have the original paint, and was missing its clear coat sealant. In other words, it was a cheap paint job.3. The AC only worked during the test drive, it died a few weeks later. They found that it needed a new AC compressor, the part costs $300 alone, with labor they gave me an estimate of $1200.I realized I bought a scam, so instead of having the car fixed I decided to sell it as is. Taking a hit but who knows what else would be wrong with the car? The $30 inspection detected all that, wow.

Car condition was good, neat and clean and also price was very competitive. After sale their support service is very good, even after 2 years of sale.

My family bought a minivan from Kars Today and we had a great experience working with Mr. Tahir, our sales person. I was free to take all the time I needed to inspect the vehicle. The list of defects after the inspection were quickly corrected. I appreciated the adding of optional items to the vehicle at a discount. Its been several weeks and the vehicle has been problem free. Tahir offered to fix any problems with the vehicle at a reasonable price should we choose to come back to him for maintenance and repairs. He has honored that pledge after identifying some optional work to be done. This dealership operates with great integrity and I will not hesitate to do business with them in the future. I have already recommend them to friends and associates. We got a quality vehicle, fair price, honesty and great customer service.

I bought a 2001 Subaru Outback 2 years ago. Tahir was very helpful but because I was from out of town I didnt get the car independently inspected like I should have. Within a month I had to invest over $2000 to do a lot of neglected maintenance. After a year the car developed an oil leak and strut problems. The reputable mechanic I go to found over $4000 in additional repairs and even located a rats nest under the hood! I donated the car to public radio. A truly disastrous experience. Caveat Emptor.

I bought a 2013 honda civic from Kars Today, and Tahir handled the deal. He tells you everything about the car, pros and cons, things you need to fix, offers you best servicing and repairing rates and most importantly best value for the car. Also, you are free to test the car from a mechanic of your choice - one thing which i liked the most. Many dealers are reluctant to do so. Given a chance I would like to consider buying a car again from him.

Best place to purchase a Vehicle if available upon your preference, I just bought My BMW 328i its performance its excellent got insured for 3 months from Tahir.

This is the only place I will be taking my car from now on. I was just told by GoodYear that my catalytic converter and front and O2 sensors needed to be replaced after their diagnostic. I took my car to Kars Today, where I originally bought my car and they told me there are no codes for the cat or O2 sensors and that the sound I was hearing was actually just the exhaust shield rattling. When I took my car to Honda, they told me it would be $2K to fix the doors... Kars Today fixed it for a little over a $100! Tahir is a really great guy, very honest and treats both his customers and their cars well. I can always count on him to help me out when Im in a jam. Im really grateful we found a place that takes care of us. Im also very happy with our great find.. a good van with low mileage and a good price. Whether you are looking for a good vehicle from an honest car dealer or an honest and reasonably priced mechanic, this is the place to go. Also, I just want to say, after reading some of the reviews, that from my experience, Tahir goes out of his way to give great customer service. So anyone who is writing that their mechanic suggested a $2k or $4k fix, honestly, they should have taken it back to Tahir, bc from my experience he is very honest and has the best prices... It might be that other places are over charging like Goodyear and Honda did for me.

I am still looking for a vehicle and have not purchased a car from this dealer, but I did meet with Tahir and test drove a vehicle. He was a very nice man and up front about the problems the vehicle had, certainly not dishonest as many dealerships are. I wanted to give him 5 stars because he knew that I was dropped off at his dealership, and that I had to take the train home. It was a cold day and I had some injuries to my face and a broken arm from a car accident I had been in a week prior. When I left he insisted that one of his employees drive me to the train station because he had to run out to do some errands. His employee drove me all the way there and saved me a 20 minute walk. I can not speak on behalf of purchasing a car but I can say that Tahir is a very nice man, he went out of his way to help a stranger, that means a lot to me, and is hard to come by these days.

Got screwed buying a used car. Died two days after buying it. Turns out it was out of gas, but the gas gauge was showing half full. Took it to a repair shop, in addition to needing a new gas gauge I spent $2000+ in services to get it road safe.

Its not just that I got my car in good bargain but because I came back to them after more then months as my cars maintenance light came ON... it was just because of oil change was due .... owner not only checked everything with his meachninc but changed my car too. I wasnt a customer here to buy any car.... I just came to see if possible, his meachinic will check my car.... woooo. Had a great experience here. Bought a Scion Tc couple months ago, had an issue with a tire needing to be replaced Tahir responded and paid for the new tire at my own shop as I live out of his area, my only complaint was it looked flawless in the pictures I saw and it wasnt. However I got past the imperfections and bought it anyways, great car still loving it. Named him Ron. Tahir was pretty honest, just remember these are used cars guys... We had a great experience working with Tahir at Kars Today back in January to purchase a 2005 Hyundai Accent for my daughter away at school. It was an older, lower-priced car, but with relatively low mileage. Ill admit I was leery to work with a used car dealership, but Tahir was trustworthy, respectful, honest and stood by his word. He offered a 30-day warranty on the engine and transmission. When some transmission issues arose, Tahir arranged for the repair, gave my daughter a loaner vehicle, and then provided a longer warranty to make sure all was well. We have also recently taken advantage of his offer for car maintenance and some AC repair at a considerably lower price than another estimate. Ive recommended Kars Today to some friends and relatives looking for a decent, low-mileage used car.

Nice friendly staff, but its nothing more than a glorified DIY fix-it shop.Went to go buy a car there that looked to be in good shape from the online ad photos. When I showed up, the car had chips everywhere in the windshield, very poor bondo work (put on very thick with very rough sanding), and misc trim pieces missing under the hood and under the car itself. Broken zip/cable ties were still visible underneath it. The car was claimed to be clean no accidents, but the amount of flaws in the body work would state otherwise. When presenting my findings to the salesman, I heard nothing but excuses on how they had basically bought the car cheap from a licensed dealer, did what they consider acceptable work on it, and tried to sell it for a profit.Car was not worth my time to even discuss price further. Would not recommend.

The last car we purchased on Craigs list had a bad engine. I wanted to get a Car Fax report and found a Honda at Kars Today. The owner, Tahir Saiyed, was so nice. The Honda was 14 year old, but it was in mint condition! It also had low mileage. I could not believe how easy it was. Tahir processed all the paperwork--title transfer/all the paperwork so quickly saving us a trip to the DMV. I loved the efficiency. Then three weeks later we needed another car, but we didnt have much money. We got a 2001 Honda for $5,000. Its such a beautiful car--also in mint condition with low mileage for a car that old. There was no pressure to buy a more expensive car, and we were treated so respectfully. I noticed some paint was chipped, and I came back the next day and they even touched that up. They even cleaned up my dirty license plate when they put my old plates on the car--they looked new! We drive older cars so its so nice to find an honest car dealer to get excellent cars!!!!!!

I bought Nissan 2013 from Tahir (owner of Kars Today). It was such a wonderful and smooth car buying experience I ever had. Car was in a perfect shape as it was same as described on the website and over the phone when I talked with him, also provided Carfax history with complete transparency. The price was also very reasonable compare to other local dealers and unbeatable customer service. Sales and DMV paperwork was done online quickly without any additional hassle visiting DMV. I personally definitely recommend doing business with Tahir. :)

So idk if some of these 5 stars are legit or not but Ill speak from experience buying form these guys. First youre greeted by fairly friendly people, Tahir is one of them. I was looking online prior to visiting and I came across a a car I like. Went ahead the next day and bought the car and assured me nothing was wrong and from looking at the interior and exterior, that was confirmed. Well a week pass and the car already gave me a check engine light, me being nice and somewhat an amateur mechanic figured Ill fix it my self. Another week pass and the lock/unlock bottom stopped working, week after that, the exhaust fell off due to rusted exhaust. Living in Chicago, we got snow, and boom, a rust finally exposed, its great how they tried to cover or bondo the rust but mother nature has its ways. The rear brakes seized so it needed a new caliper and I paid $400 alone for that. At this point I was getting really aggravated but I lost it when I saw that the car I bought, for not even two months ago, started leaking puddles of oil!!!! And all of the other problems stated above. So buy at your own risk, you have been warned. Dont trust these so called reviews because they dont tell you whats really wrong with the car until you find out later. Cheers.
