This Midas is great! Cant speak for other locations, but I always get great service here. Ive been bringing my car here for all service and tires for several years. First time I came here, I sent them tires I bought from tirerack and they had no problem mounting tires i didnt didnt even buy there. Ive since replaced that set with them as well as brakes and other regular service.

This was the BEST customer service I have EVER experienced. Anil, the owner, was warm and friendly! Him and his team put my mind at ease ensuring that my 1997 Toyota 4Runner was safe for me to take to Texas. They kept me updated on the services they were doing throughout the day and even found some things I had no idea were broken, fixing everything I needed. They went above and beyond for me and exceeded my expectations in almost every possible way. After picking up my car and driving it I feel I have a brand new car!!! It feels so safe! If I wasnt moving to Texas, Midas in Addison would be my go to mechanic everytime. 11/10 I recommend going to the Midas in Addison. I was so pleased with the way they took care of my car, I gave the owner a hug when I picked it up.

This place was great definitely one of the better mechanics Ive been to. Very thorough and very fast service plus they are very good with keeping you in the loop about the services theyre providing I highly recommend this Midas!

I do not recommend this Midas.Very expensive compared to any mechanic shop.$186 to replace brake pads.I declined the service, and when I left the mechanic shop I started to hear a big noise that wasnt in the car before. Not sure they did this in purpose or not.Anyways, this is what happened to me.

Be aware!!! Online pricing 78$, after visiting In store it went upto 131$ and finally added some other fees and all paid 145$ for just installation of 4 tires.

Free air and balance out of air pressure. Quick in and out service! Great overall service.

So far every time we take our cars they been good and always calling us if cars needs something else. the guy was nice and called us to let us know what my mom car needed.

They were very helpful on what I needed fixed unlike the other two that was at before them. Grave mistake not again.

Anil was so helpful and kind. I came in super scared because my check engine light was on and I didnt know why, Anil really took the time to explain why and gave me options on how to approach the problem. All the employees are nice and very helpful.

Received a very fair quote for replacement (P&L) of a portion of exhaust system for 2004 Toyota that had failed.

HUGE RIPOFF, highly do NOT recommend going here. This is a classic mechanic shop taking advantage of people, i have a couple examples the first i was fixing my break line i had all the parts just wanted them to work on it they were going to charge me 315$ i looked up on youtube how to do it and it took me an hour by myself, second example they were gonna charge me 800 just to weld a metal pipe back in place. Drive the extra 20 mins to the goodyear on barrington road near bode road.

Midas has always given me prompt and polite quality service over the years with technicians who are extremely knowledgeable that I can trust. The owner always greets me warmly and checks in on how my family is doing. A very down to earth and friendly place.

Brought car in to have a tire replaced and they found that the tire had an issue so I had to purchase a new tire. They were able to get the new tire quickly and completed the repair in a timely manner.

I dealt with Nino, whom I have had the pleasure of dealing with for years, and he took the time to understand my budget and what I was looking for. He explained what needed to be done and what could be done within the parameters I had set. They take the time to understand you and make sure you have as easy as a time possible. They are my #1 go to place and I would highly recommend them to everyone for all their automotive needs!

This midas is big scam dont go to midas they make people fool they change my breakpads and router and charge me $900 and then breakpads got damage in 2months

As a single woman moving to a new community, it was hard to know who to trust. I thank God that He lead me to Midas Addison for my car-care needs. For 10 years Anel and his team have treated me like family, putting my best interests first and doing an outstanding job caring for my cars. They kept my 02 Honda in top shape until an accident put it out of commission, and I now trust theyll do the same for my 15 Mitsubishi. Even though Ive moved 30 miles away, I still take my car to Anels Midas, because not only have he and his team proven to be an excellent mechanics, they have also become excellent friends.

SCAM!!! Be careful if you dont know much about your car problem. They wanted to charge me TRIPLE what a place down the street quoted me!! When confronted with the other quote they quickly adjusted the price to 5 over the competition. Would never go back!

My sons car needed some work to his radiator. Anil is always very informative and lets you know exactly whats going on. He threw in a free oil change and let my son know how important it is to get oil changes in his 200000 mile car!

Ive been going to this Midas in Addison for 10+ years, they have never disappointed. They have great prices and service. More importantly, they LISTEN. They give you want you want and dont try to up sell. They always are pleasant and I highly recommend bringing your vehicles here for oil, tires, brakes, whatever is wrong, they will take care of you.

The owner was very courteous and explained everything about my car repairs, even showed me pictures of car parts, that needed to be worked on. It was very helpful indeed. Also showed me a website that gave me a range of prices for a particular repair in the geographic market area.

Very good service completed the work and was very thorough with all of the different aspects of my car and its needs.

Top notch service in diagnosing and solving a problem I had with my air vents. Took the time to tell me of other small issues that I might consider doing in the future. Then, sent me a text thanking me for coming into them. Great experience.

Came here to replace a windshield wiper motor. They said it took 2 hours. Ended up after 5 hours they gave me a not-working-right one for $300. 2 months later that not-working-right one finally stopped working so i have guarantee, i came back to get it fixed and they said it was something else that broken. Need another 650$ to get everything fixed. Sweet! NEVER AGAIN AND DONT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

After being a customer for years, Just went there today 2/3/21 for an oil change, Sorry but what a disappointment!I wanted to wait as they had no business, all bays empty! Was told that waiting area was closed! But there was two chairs set up in Bay 1,said I was willing to stay in my car as I have see other shops doing this prior to state opening up, also why not have waiting area open as I was only customer there? We are now allowed to sit in restaurants! I have been going there for years, but Sorry you have just lost a customer with 3 cars you have been servicing!

I went to get my tires rotated, i ended up needing 2 new tires. I got home and one of my old tires had 2 nails in it and was practically flat. They claimed they didnt inspect them.

Excellent service and very friendly and gives you all good information about what is and needs to be done for your vehicle. I highly recommend Midas and this location for your vehicle.

Anil and team provide outstanding service at their Midas location. They are very knowledgeable and always do a great job assessing and fixing any issues. The customer service and genuine care that goes into servicing your vechicle is remarkable. I drive twenty minutes and past many other options just to come to this Midas location. You can trust that the team has your best interest in mind when making recommendations and servicing your car.

Please, stay away from this business. My experience with them leads me to certain conclusions: - huge markup on parts, hidden charges, unnecessary replacement of parts, manipulative practices. They dont even try to gain your trust, instead they are only focused on one and only issue-how to pump your bill. I left this place feeling like somebody took advantage of me, with no confidence to their service whatsoever. I couldnt leave at the time, my car was towed to this palace. My only hope is, that you will have a choice.

Ive Been going to this Midas a few years now, will never go back. I got an oil change (the buy one get one free) went back for the free one and they never closed my oil dip stick. I drove around a month or so with it open and the oil spilled all around it’s surrounding! I was on the express way when my car started acting funny! It could have blown my pistons.

They replaced tires on my Ford Escape and a work trailer. Very competitive prices. They did some work on the Ford Escape that seems to be ok but not cheap. Its my old work truck were things went really bad. My very old but also low mile Chevy 3500 HD truck was backfiring when it was hot. I also had a power steering pump leaking. We were going to fix the ps pump ourselves and had the part that they agreed to install. They NEVER BOTHERED to check the pump after it was installed. As soon as i picked it up it I knew it wasnt fixed. So they charged me literally triple for the part and for the labor a 2nd time. (I believe They mark up parts about 300%) That wasnt enough they hit me up for a gear box for I think $900. (Amazing they didnt notice it before) So now Im out close to 3K on these guys and within a week my truck is still backfiring. I bring it back, telling them I need it by end of day. Follow up mid afternoon with nothing. Then they close without calling me. I pick it up the next morning unfixed. We find out later from a much more competent and honest mechanic it was a dustributor. Cost us less than $400. But thats not all. I dropped off another truck in which i declined the repair. I go to take it back and the steering wheel that 100% FOR SURE wasnt loose is now loose. They tell me its a steering column, but never quoted me. I mean weather intentionally or not they literally BROKE SOMETHING THAT WASNT BROKE on my truck and were ready to quote me another expensive repair. We got that fixed for under $250. Wasnt a steering column. If you need an oil change, muffler or brakes or tires this place may be ok. For any other repairs I would stay very far away.

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS.Went once for an oil change, that was fine...next day the car started losing pressure. At the time, I didnt realize they were the ones who punctured my tire, so... I took it back, they said that it was in an area that couldnt be repaired, so had to replace the tire (which was not even 2 years old). I didnt think they were the ones who put the nail in there UNTIL.... second oil change and two days later, guess what?!?!?! The other back tire is leaking out of no where. Once, ok maybe, but twice in a matter of months right after I went in to their shop, I think NOT.I have reported them to the BBB and wish I had read the reviews prior to my first visit.I Will NEVER return.NEVER...how do these type of people sleep at night scamming consumers for hundreds of dollars?!Needless to say, I did not get the tire repaired there and WILL NEVER RETURN (redundant, I know :)

VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL.

Despite what the other reviews have said, the owner Anil is a great guy. When my wife and I lived near his shop for 5 years, thats the only place we would go to get things on both cars fixed. If we didnt have the money to meet his prices, he would work with us on making payments. Its not normal business practice and thats what makes it a special place. When the owner (how has to make money on parts AND labor) will do things like that, it makes you not want to go anywhere else. We now live 30 min away from there but still bring our cars out to his shop for repair work.

Went in for a brake check, $20, no big deal. But I have dealt with this owner at a different location and should have walked out as soon as I walked in. He is that stereotype of a mechanic shop owner, not there to service you or do things in your best interest at all. I would rather go somewhere else and pay MORE money than even let this guy touch my car. Giving Midas a bad name and you can see this from other posts as well.

I always take my car to addison midas or shaunberg I have now had experience dealing with the entire mechanic team. They have gone above and beyond for my satisfaction basic jobs are never a hassle of waiting when I have a appointment. I have had some issues aside from basic things and I have been offered a loaner at no cost. When the loaner was not available the mechanic brought my car to me after work I will always respect the mechanics for going out of the way to deliver my car 44 miles away after work on their own time Anil and Mrs K owe them a raise they are awesome

Been coming for years, always fast oil change and professional people.

They told me I needed a new alternator and battery. I let them replace battery but alternator was way too expensive($500). I took my vehicle to a different Midas and they found it was only the alternator belt broke! Midas Addison charged me for diagnostics and battery I DID NOT need and was about to replace a perfectly good alternator.

I went here for years and slowly they started to just rip me off. They werent doing the free check even though it says its included. When I confronted the manager about it, he didnt really care. I instantly stopped coming here.

Tires blew and had no chance but to get my tire installed from here as it was the closet place. They Installed 3 out of 4 tires the wrong way! Went back in to get them corrected and told them I wanted my tires fixed and realignment at no charge. 30 mins later my tires were fixed but no printout on the alignment. Asked the owner and he told me they didnt save it and had to redo it. Bunch of liars, they never did it. This place is a joke. If they cant install tires properly, God only knows what other things they do wrong. They wanted to make things right by giving me free oil change- no thanks. Avoid this place if you can.

They did suspension work, and grossly overtightened two lug nuts and left the others finger tight. This warped my expensive cross drilled and slotted rotors, costing me an expensive brake job that was unneeded before they sabotaged my car. STAY AWAY!!!

This place cheated me on my oil change. They stated they gave me an oil change but because I was 16 at the time, they just poured oil in my car, took my money, and tried to create a fake receipt of what they did. VERY HORRIBLE!!!

I had a very good experience with this location. I called 3 minutes before closing and didnt feel rushed or like they were trying to hang up the phone. I showed up 15 minutes before they opened and a worker came out and talked to me and offered to help but ultimately had to wait for his manager. At the same time they offered to pick me up and drop me off at work when I dropped of my car.

They have tried to charge me 950$ to install brake lines. The place I ended up going to only charged 490$. I gave them another shot when My window was stuck down, they tried to charge me 420$. Atlas Glass in bellwood charged 50$.

If I could give negative stars, I would. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! I went in to get my snow tires swapped out ONLY and the guy running the front desk tells me my brakes are at 10%... my car was just service at a Ford and everything was fine. Then he leaves and comes back telling me I need new rotors too. I had a bad feeling because I know my brakes were at 70% last May. He gives me prices so I go on my phone and call Ford. As Im talking to ford, the Midas guy is spitting out cheaper prices to me and saying Ford is going to scam me. I leave and go to Ford, tell them the whole story and turns out my brakes are at 55% and my rotors are fine.As this whole ordeal is happening at Midas, there is a lady sitting in the office FUEMING because she came in for an oil change and shes been there for two hours because they keep coming up with things wrong with her car.I will NEVER be returning here and I will make sure everyone I know is well aware of how they tried to scam me.

HORRIBLE EXPERIANCE! The owner is a scammer! I simply wanted to to know what was wrong with my car and agreed to pay $40 for a oil leak diagnosis. I was told that they needed to hold the car overnight to spray it down and let it dry before investigating. I agreed and asked them to call me in the morning with the estimate. They provided me with with estimates that were over TRIPLE what other shops in the area were charging. When I wanted to pay the $40 diagnosis fee and get my car back, they said that I gave them a verbal to begin work (which is a total lie) and they already took the car apart. Then had the nerves to demand full payment to put it all back together with the old part. After going back and forth with the sleazeball owner Anil, I was able to get the bill chopped in HALF (which was still double the quote with another shop down the street) and I had to get my own part (saving of 70%). John who seems like the shop manager was very nice,understanding, and was very ethical. However, the owner Anil was a total scammer, thief, and sleazeball who has 0 customer service skills and scams all his customers with prices that are around 5% below dealer prices. This facility should be audited and investigated for unnecessary up selling and scamming their customers. My advice would be to just stay clear from this shop, if at all possible!!!!!- AA
