I have been going to Mavis for years now for tires and oil changes and have had pretty mixed results. Generally very good but a few misses. Ive never left a review but last week my wife had a nail in her tire that was losing air and had a small window before school pickup time. Adam showed amazing customer service by understanding and appreciating the urgency of this situation. Good people are hard to find for businesses, but when you have the right people and management, like this store does with Adam, you can exceed customer expectations and create loyal customers. Mavis took great care of my car, updating me the entire time which was nice. They made suggestions, provided options, and their pricing was extremely competitive. Terrible customer service flat out lied to my wife and tried to sell her a new tire rather than repairing the brand new tire with a nail in it.. told her the puncture was to deep (how is a puncture too deep on a tire lol) took it right down the street to discount tire and they had zero problems patching the tire save your money and your time and stay away from them

On 8/21 my tire pressure went from 34 to 5 in less than 10 minutes. I was near Mars Hill rd and it was 4:48 pm. They were closing at 5, I got there and the guys (I forget their names) BUT THEY WERE ALL SUPER HELPFUL. The guy that took my car let me that it would take a few minutes to look at to verify if I needed a new tire or patch work. Luckily I only needed a patch for the tire. I felt really bad walking in 10 minutes before they closed and it was a Saturday I know they wanted to get off .The entire team was so nice and professional, they were able to get me back on the road within 20 minutes. When its time to buy tires I am most definitely going back to this Marvis.

I will go out of my way to visit this location. Everyone was so pleasant and cheery and I felt like they really cared about helping me. They offered additional services than what I came in for which were all things I needed done that I did not even think about. Emily kept me laughing and was so friendly while I waited on my car. Although they seemed busy, they were able to service my car SO FAST! I really appreciate the 5 star service I received here. Getting your car serviced is never fun, but the staff at this store made it such a great experience.

My brakes and tires were in bad shape and I knew I needed work done. First time going to Mavis Tire, I was a little bit hesitant at first. Walked in and was immediately welcomed in by Adam who turned out to be the Manager. Was extremely Impressed by his professionalism. Ended up getting four new tires and brakes in the front. I wasnt pressured into or upsold on anything i didnt need. Great price and very happy! The techs who worked on my vehicle were Justin and Dillion who brought me out to show me just how bad my brakes were. They were excellent and very knowledgeable all the way around. Called up there explained to the guy on the phone what I wanted, he made a work order, sent me an email confirmation and said come on up, we’ll take care of you.Arrived at the store. No one was in the front. I stuck my head around and called for someone..couldn’t find anyone. Walked back outside and into the garage bay door. The “customer service” guy was sitting in a chair out back. He said meet him up front. I then walked back into the front office and greeted him again. He didn’t say anything. I explained to him that I called and got a work order# and told him what I wanted. He again didn’t say anything…I asked him if he didn’t want to do it. He replied “well I have a lot of stuff to take care of and it will take a while”. I told him I’ll just go someplace else and I’ll never be back.

I brought my vehicle in to the shop the other for some routine maintenance and honestly the customer service was the absolute best I’ve ever seen. The service adviser (Emily) was that best. She was very knowledgeable and very professional. The shop had me in and out within an hour and even performed an inspection of what maintenance I will be needing soon. The shop was very clean and I will absolutely be bringing my car back for any repairs or maintenance I need.

I was pleasantly surprised. I went in 100% ready to replace all my brakes on my suv because another (chain) oil change place said I needed to. After Mavis inspected my brakes, they came back and said I was in fact not in need of brakes. Its rather refreshing that a company wouldnt simply take my money. They did what was right and because of that they have earned my future business. Honesty counts for a lot in my book.

Mars Hill Mavis is horrible!!! To make a very long story short, Adam is rude, unprofessional and condescending. I finally went to get my car to take to another shop and he continued to talk over me and be nasty! Went to the Mavis on Kemp and dealt with Sean and Mike they were kind, knowledgeable and professional.

Emily, Tyler and Mike were so helpful! Came in thinking they hadn’t tightened the cover on my catalytic converter when in fact another nearby garage had not tightened it after having done work on my car. They then offered to bolt the cover and even cleaned up oil under my car that had been left by the other garage. Kudos to them and many thanks from a satisfied customer.
