They got my truck scheduled 20 min.after I called .Replaced a bad water pump as well as an oil change (much needed & over due)Truck was finished & ready to go bout 5hrs later.Which was not long considering they had 4 or 5 bays full & several in line.Price was a little steep but you get what you pay for and I know they are professionals and do things right. So that being said there were no hidden fees .All charges were quoted up front and even called me to get the go ahead on some minor issues.I would highly recommend KAMS for any service you need w/your Auto. Brought it in for AC issue, passenger window issue, and turn signal issue. For 317 dollars, my turn signals work. The other issues werent resolved. Was told AC will need to be done by a restoration company. Was told window worked, but it wasnt working from the first time I tried and still isnt. The window hasnt rolled down for me in six months. Not even once. So, 317 dollars got me turn signals. Nothing else. Just a bit disappointed.

I was referred to Kams by AAA. I am new to the area so I didnt know of any mechanics. My car needed 4 coil packs and 4 spark plugs. Did you just read that? I knew what I needed. I dropped it off overnight and left the keys. A guy named David called and suggested I get the diagnostic which was $100+. I told him I only wanted to get the four coil packs and four spark plugs. He said he would call me back with an estimate. He called back and said it would be $815.00. 4 Coil packs @ $110.62 EACH and 4 Spark plugs @ $19.52 EACH. (Total parts: $520.56) I felt that was extremely expensive. I went to Amazon and ordered 4 coil packs and 4 spark plugs for $70.92. I then went on Youtube and looked up the procedure. I watched the video a few times to make sure I grasped the procedure. The parts came the next day and I installed them.Im only giving Kams a three because of their prices. David was nice, knowledgeable, and prompt. Basically he got the three. I will say this. I checked the price of the same procedure at two other places and Kams was the cheapest. Pep Boys quoted $899.89 and Town Center Nissan quoted $1,000.00. I dont know if I was getting the woman price or what but they were all outrageous.

So my mother-in-law‘s car broke down on a Friday afternoon. KAMS recommended a tow company that picked it up & dropped it at KAMS in less than an hour. KAMS was able to diagnose the problem Saturday morning, and they had it fixed by 2pm that same day! Yes, we got lucky they had the part needed on hand, but KAMS was faster & more friendly than they had to be, and we were blessed.

Well I have taken my vehicle here several times because it was suggested. The first time was fine because it was a basic problem. The last time I took my vehicle there was when my experience went wrong. My vehicle had a more difficult problem which is when they have problems it seems. It started with me checking on my vehicle at the end of the day and the woman that answered claimed that the man I needed was out on a drive for 15 mins, but when I emphasized I needed to talk to someone, he just happened to just be right there. Then claimed they didn’t hear the problem, because they hadn’t driven it and it was the end of the day. Then came back and told me I also needed something else done. I told them there’s no way I’m doing it for that price. Glad I chose to listen to my gut because I called 3 other highly recommended shops and they were charging $100-115 less then KAMS. Then I got to wondering what else they have charged me hundreds more for…. At least now I know I will save at a minimum a $100 going somewhere else.

We had been looking for someone to install seat belts on our 62 Impala, and Kams came highly recommended. They gave us their estimate, which was more than fair, ordered the part and scheduled us to come in when the parts arrived. After the parts came in we made an appointment and they said it would take a couple of hours, but I was out in less than one! Im pretty confident thats the first time in my life Ive dropped my vehicle off and theyve gotten it back to me before the estimated time haha. The customer service, price, and timeliness will bring me back the next time any of my vehicles need work!

Went in for an oil change and rear brakes. After examining the brakes they told us that replacement wasn’t necessary yet. Really appreciate them letting us know that the expense wasn’t necessary yet.

Charged for brake fluid flush, totally unnecessary and not communicated to customer. Replaced brake rotors prematurely newer mechanic & supervisor did contact the owner but didn’t want to turn rotors for fear of brakes grabbing? Asked to leave battery leak to owner also cabin air filter but went ahead and replaced. Very Disappointed in excessive add on charges to bump up bill amount and give you a discount on labor not their overpriced parts.

Their service was fantastic, as usual. They correctly identified and fixed the problem, the amount they charged was much less than I had expected, and they completed the work the same day I dropped off the car. I used to work as a car mechanic, and I know how difficult their job is. I am very happy with Kams.

My family and I are from Bowling Green Kentucky and were on a trip home from Florida. My transmission goes out Its in my truck and naturally were not from here so we dont know who to call for repair. Unfortunately for us we called this place.1st they tell me they can look at 2 days and once they have It in their possession then they tell me they cant look at it till 2morrow. Then they proceed to tell me that my transmission is ruined and it is not they are just trying to scan but they are just trying to scam somebody because I am out of town if you could give a 1/2 a star I would Watch out dont let them take advantage of you So if the transmission was ruined completely how come I can still drive it in every year and I can still drive it in every year except 4th and 5th?

So I went to Kams bc my aunt and uncle have been going there and I needed a new mechanic shop since my long time place has now closed its doors. I just needed a simple oil change and I ended up sitting there for an hour waiting for it to be done…which is fine. When I went to pay the amount was extremely high compared to all the other times I’ve had my oil changed. Usually I would pay around $25 but they were charging me $60. I was very shocked and asked why and the cashier told me bc it was synthetic. I told her I did not ask for synthetic and she went on to tell me that if the vehicle calls for it then they have to do it. I told her I’ve never paid that much and I know that I had never had synthetic put in that I had known of but she just looked at me like she didn’t know what to do about that. She also added I needed new rear brake pads and when I asked how much they quoted me around $350 which I thought seemed really high since I had just gotten my front brakes done for $99. I told her no for the brakes and glad I did bc I got them done that next day for $120. Unfortunately when it came to the oil I had no time to argue with her bc I had my 2 very young children with me and we had somewhere to be so we just left and I paid $60!!! After we left I confirmed with many ppl that my car a 2016 Kia Sorento does not call for synthetic. Basically they screwed me and tried screwing me more with the brake quote. I’m so confused why this happened bc i was told by family to go there. I was really excited to find a place I could feel comfortable going to with my children if need be and having it so close to home would’ve been great too. I need to find a good place that I can trust and I wish it could’ve been Kams but it just wasn’t.

HORRIBLE! The entire experience from start to finish was awful. I received poor customer service, a hand full of failed attempts to actually diagnose the problem, wasted time and money and the a/c in my vehicle still does not work. When I called to address the issue and asked to speak with the owner of the business, I was given every excuse to why he could not speak with me. Absolutely appalled at their level of expertise and customer care.

I have used Kams, or David since my husband found them I believe in 2006 about 15 years, with all of our vehicles over the years. It seems personally it has been a tough 5 years for me and when something tragic happens to me, it happens to my truck as well! I trust Kam’s to always due their best and that’s all you could ask for. This time my 2004 Suburban’s air stopped working, at not a great time, after two very recent losses in my family. I couldn’t imagine being in that hot truck going to funerals. Kam’s ( from the front to the back of the shop) beyond rose to the occasion of fixing old Bessie, quickly, at more than a fair cost, and holy banana’s I finally can say it’s an freezing air conditioning in my truck. KAMS Auto Repair Service did a great job on my Toyota LandCruiser. We were headed to Florida and I needed them to check my brakes and address a noise in my front right wheel. They also changed my transmission fluid. David let me know which repairs needed to be completed now and which repairs could wait. I was very pleased.

I left my last mechanic because there were only two technicians working at any given time, here there have always been multiple guys working when I come in to get my service so I feel like they have some effective work practices in place to stay efficient. The prices are also very fair and they provide an accurate quote for you prior to beginning the work, which is great! I haven’t used the pick up service they offer, but they do advertise the option to drop you off at home if you live in the vicinity (which I do). I think it’s nice to have this as an option too!

I was under a different name, and yes, this is the right store.I went there for a check engine light. I was charged twice for the check engine light, when I could have gotten it for free at (Autopart). Then they supposed fixed the problem. when I got the vehicle back the check engine light came back on.Ahhhh!! It was a mess. Then other stuff started magically failing after they worked on.I wouldnt requirement this store.

In the past 3-mo. I used KAMS twice at the REC of others. 1st vehicle needed a Trans-mount (I provided) and asked if they would inspect my U-joints & replace if needed. David informed me the U-joints appear to be new, not required. This past week I had them SVC a 2nd car, oil-filter change, alignment and brake INSP and replace if needed. Car didnt need brakes, rather just squeaky and 25% & 40% worn. This crew only performs the REQ work your vehicle needs and at fair prices, provide an honest assessment, and fix it in a reasonable time frame. I will be going back and HIGHLY REC KAMS. Also to the gear-heads out there with a stalled project. If youre in over your head, the crew here works on Hotrod projects, 62 Impala SS, 71 Nova, and a 66 Mustang for starters.

Air conditioner stopped working. Took the car to KAMS. They said that 10 cars were ahead of me so it may take a few days to look at it. We werent in a hurry so it was no big deal. Received a call the next day saying it was ready. That was fast. Will be using them again.

I needed an emergency alignment on my Jeep at the last minute. 4 shops turned me down. The owner of this shop took me in. I am very please with his friendliness and for giving me advice. Front desk lady is very friendly as well. This will be my new shop!

I recently took my van in to get my AC working again. I brought it in thinking it would sit there all day with their queue of cars and was surprised to get a call almost 30 minutes after getting home. They had a full diagnosis with the potential price. The price was very reasonable so I agreed to get the fix. It was done soon after that call. The price was very reasonable and better than most. They were very professional and very understanding as well. The van AC is back to normal! I highly recommend Kams to get your car fixed.

I had a diagnostic inspection for a vibration under weird conditions after I already replaced several parts myself but still couldnt find it. They walked through each step with me to diagnose my transmission (torque converter) as the source of vibrations I was trying to solve with other parts being replaced. Definitely worth the cost to positively identify to source of the problem before I continue replacing other parts that wouldnt solve the vibration. 100% recommend KAMS and the family behind the business.

I made an appointment for Friday morning @ 8am, however I dropped my car off on Wednesday night as it was more convenient. They had my car in, diagnosed, called me for approval, and repairs completed by the end of the day Thursday. Customer service was excellent. I will not only use Kams again, but also highly recommend them!

We were on our way from Fort Wayne Indiana to Orlando Florida when our silverado truck started acting up.We were in a hurry when we pulled into kams.The voltage reading was low and when I accelerated the wipers would come on and the dash lites would flicker. Kams got the truck in right away and ran a dianognist on it. Our greatest fears would be to get in Atlanta traffic and get stuck. Kams was very professional and honest. They ran a scan on it and couldnt find anything wrong.This is where you hear the horror stories of car shops ripping people off. IT WAS NOT THE CASE WITH KAMS. THEY CHARGED ME A DIAGNOSTIC CHARGE AND SENT US ON OUR WAY TO MEET OUR DAUGHTER IN TIME.I would recommend them to anyone. I believe our God is a car mechanic along with many other things.Before I talked to kams I prayed that God would take care of our problems.I believe that God fixed it is why it didnt show anything. They where very helpful, but the ford explorer start the same problem. No understand why .

I called ahead of taking my vehicle to Kams for repair as my truck was misfiring to see if they changed out plugs in a 2007 Ford F-150 as some won’t. She said yes they did but let them hook it up and see what is going on.I took it in and was told it was not the plugs but the catalytic converters. $2,400 repair. I reluctantly let them do the repairs (thinking) they knew what they were talking about. Anna calls and says “your truck is ALL SET, except for a slight misfire and the Tech can’t replicate the original problem.” I picked up the truck and shocked that the problem may have been worse than when I first took it in. I went back the next day and Anna wasn’t working, but the Tech quickly got defensive stating “even though it didn’t fix the problem, the converters were shot and had to be replaced. Wasn’t concerned a bit that the truck didn’t work right.After spending $2,400 I took it back to Kam’s. They were at a loss and can’t diagnose a problem without a code. But they thought they heard a misfire in port 4. So we decided to change out that plug to know avail. Then a phone call from Anna arguing with me that the plugs were not that old and it can’t be the plugs. She said changing all of the plugs won’t fix the problem EVEN though I told her the plugs had about 135K miles she argued that the plugs couldn’t have more than 50-60K. She is going to argue with the original owner of this 14 year old vehicle? Then Anna said again without a code they can’t fix it. Anna said that the Tech thinks it is an internal engine problem. Whatever that is.They went for the most expensive fix first and NEVER solved the problem. $2,400 down the drain and never a discussion of consideration.So then I took my truck to Honest One in Marietta. Without a code they diagnosed misfires in all engine ports and said all of the plugs needed replacing except the one changed by Kams. I had them change all of the plugs and for less than $900 had a perfectly running truck without misfires.I highly DO NOT Recommend Kams for any auto repair.Not sure I would trust them to change wiper blades as there is no code for that.

First, reading the people who are giving them a low rating seem to either have no clue what they are talking about, or are self-entitled... I didnt experience anything like they talked about, and brought them something that could have easily been used against me to jack up the prices or services.Im giving them a five star simply because I brought them a car that wasnt the norm. I have a 1976 Datsun 280Z with a SBC 350 swap in it. I brought it to them to help me with the carburetor, a fuel leak and rear suspension issues I was having difficulty repairing myself. They told me that there were a few cars ahead of me, but still managed to get my car back to me within the week! I was pleased. Fastest shop so far that has seen the car.As far as the service goes, the rear suspension I knew was going to be difficult, but they tackled the issue without even a comment. The carburetor was overhauled and tuned, and they said there was something about the sending unit in the fuel tank that needed replacement. Honestly, I didnt probe much about the sending unit..There is still a slight leak in the fuel tank (possibly a line issue honestly), leaving a gaseous smell in my garage. (They wouldnt have seen this leak since it needed a full tank and I failed to bring it to them with one). And the carburetor still isnt perfect (After over an hour of driving it, the performance dips and had issues twice with the engine bogging down, as well as a random complete shut off) Both issues I dont blame them for, since they are limited and cannot just take a customers car out for a two hour shake down drive.The prices were actually normal as far as other shops go when it comes to a unique car. Most shops will not even touch my car, and they didnt even hesitate to say yes. For that, and their clear communications and fair pricing, I give them a five star.Im sure theyd rather not see my car ever again, but I would trust them with further services of my car in the future if it is things I cannot do on my own. I am planning on calling them about the fuel leak and carburetor issue to see what they think and possibly bring it back to have these dealt with (If they are comfortable tackling it again)

The AC quit working in my sons can so I scheduled an appt online, that was nice. We dropped the car off and I got notified via text on the status and they completed the repairs same day. New blower motor, serpentine belt and an oil change. Extremely courageous and I loved the communication! I have found my new repair shop!

I will never use Kam again. I was a faithful customer that brought 4 different vehicles to Kams for everything. Earlier this year 2020, I had my tires aligned and was charged $82. I brought the same car back for 1 tire replacement and an alignment and I was quoted a ridiculous $450 for the 1 tire and $200 for an alignment. I will never use them again because their prices aren’t consistent. This was the same price the dealership quoted me....

It’s not easy to find an auto shop to service an almost classic car (2005 Chrysler Crossfire) that doesn’t stall and shirk and make excuses. I found them in a search for local Mercedes shops and was amazed at their service - in house towing, knowledgeable of the Mercedes engine, etc.The service is impeccable. My only issue with my experience is being charged for diagnostics with no deduction from the invoice. I know they’re not a dealership, but the $130 from an almost $$900 bill that included towing from them would have been nice.All that being said, I would definitely recommend them for Mercedes service. Parts for older automobiles usually takes FOREVER, but they received the parts for my crossfire in 24 hours.

My experience with KAMS started on a high note and got even better through to the end. The lady who answered the phone, Anna, and set up the appointment, was friendly, efficient and very professional. She let me know there would be a diagnostic charge upfront and set the appointment. I dropped the truck off at the appointed time and within an hour had a quote for the work. They finished the job that day and I picked it up that evening. The quality of the work was excellent. These folks are friendly, professional and straightforward. This is my new go-to shop. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else after the great experience I had here. I think the fact that it is family-owned makes a difference in the pride they take in their work and in the way they treat customers.

I had an issue with my van stalling. They scanned it and found a sensor issue. They replaced it with a factory part and not an aftermarket part from the auto parts stores. The price was great. I was expecting it to be a lot more. They also replaced an oil sensor that was leaking that I had just installed by a local shop. That local shop didnt know what they were doing. Go to Kams. Great price and and the knowledge to get it done right.

KAMS did a great job of squeezing in my oil change for me. I didnt have an appointment and they still accommodated me. Price was great on oil change and they inspected my vehicle for future needs as well. Thank you!

Service was fine. Staff at the front desk and those that answered the phone are friendly and courteous. I feel they are are overpriced on parts. We needed to have our AC repaired that required a new compressor clutch. A new OEM clutch online from a Ford dealership is about $180. We were charged double that. I understand a parts mark up but a 100% mark up is extreme. Labor costs and refrigerant costs were in line with other repair facilities. If our son was not taking this vehicle across country to Colorado to return to college we would have waited on another repair facility that was not currently overwhelmed with business.
