I love the fact that it opens at 6am. I can do my shopping right after w5and dont have to deal with alot of people. I can get in and get out. But this is a NEW MEIJER With a new design, and new layouts and new products. I spent waaaay too much. I went in with a small buggy because I had a couple of things to purchase but when I left the poor buggy was at it maximum capacity. Lol. So many items were on sale and or clearance, I couldnt pass up. Love the new look and feel of the store.

Nasty water filling station that has to been cleaned since August. Extremely nasty. Would not recommend filling water here. Go to Walmart, its $0.39 a gallon instead of $0.44 a gallon for nasty water. Looks like parasites in the water. Nasty!

I would love to see people go to Meijer its got good staff and they never low on stock

Im not from Michigan originally (but have lived here now for several years). This Meijer introduced me to the chain and I really like Meijer largely as a result of my experiences here over four years. They have a great selection of brands and products. The prices are good and the quality can be counted on.When I recently had an issue where I got a defective product and tried to exchange it without the receipt (because Id lost it), they didnt give me any hassle and I was super grateful to them.Right now, its under construction, but I can tell that the building will be better after construction is complete. Itll be way cleaner and more modern.My only gripe is that their selection of Mexican foods can be slightly lacking sometimes.Im seeing the parking mentioned. Its definitely adequate. What could be improved is that there tend to be a few spots where shopping carts pile up. In particular, this occurs near the bus stop when people dont take their groceries out until the last minute and just leave their cart on the island.All things considered, I highly recommend Meijer as a whole and especially this Meijer location.

Accessable by bus no 6 or 5. Double checked the end point of the bus before entering. Once we end up to Ypsilanti.It was recently renovated. Have a variety of choices here. Register as mperks. Who knows when you can get the perks?

Its a pretty good store. Grocery selection is big and pet supplies area is huge. A good place to go for most of your needs

The can return here is now only open 10-6, making it much more difficult to return cans if you work normal work hours. Unclear why the automated can machines can only do an 8 hr work day.

Currently they are under construction but my boyfriend went there to get his vaccine and they were really quick and cool about everything. I also found a decently priced hummingbird feeder. With the construction going on around the shoppers it is a little troublesome to find stuff but Im sure that will straighten itself out when they are done remodeling. Also the only place I have found campfire pie makers

I love Meijer and A L W A Y S do my grocery shopping there (at their store on Carpenter Rd. in Ypsilanti, MI!) They are in the process of remodeling--so it will be even easier to get around in that store and find things after they finish the remodel!!

My husband and I were shopping in the Carpenter road store. We would love it if you could make a map of the new store. We would love being able to find things a little easier.

There are so many moving parts comment on when coming to a store like this for years. Ive not been disappointed. AND, unlike mu Kroger they actually stay open their entire store hours all the way to midnight (btw, my Kroger has a habit of not letting you come in if its close to closing time. I understand. Ive been there as I used to work at a grocery store when I was a kid but you said you ate open not me)

Store is clean and sweet smelling.Enough cashiers that no one waits in line very long.Wide variety of clean and fresh fruits and vegetables.Prices are fair and reasonable even on gourmet items.All in all a positive customer experience.

I love Meijer! But this store is doing some major renovations. It’s confusing to find things. It’s rearranged every time I go. Some items are in limited supply. Probably because of a combo of Covid and renovations. I can’t wait to see how great it will be when the work is done.Update: the renovation is nearly completed. This store has never been so beautiful. Everything is almost completely back to normal. It might as well be a brand new store. I always go to Meijer first. Anywhere there is one.

This Meijer is under construction on the pick up side and for some reason Google Maps show the back side of Meijer as an entrance site and it gives an impression as if the store is renovating and closed. Parking area is adequate. You are greeted by a person at the gate entry which always gives a good feeling that you are welcome at the store. You will find any grocery items, fresh donuts, bagels at the Deli. All kind of fresh fruits and vegetables. Baby things from strollers to eatables and has both cashier and self checkouts.

I miss meijer now but when ever Im home its a quick trip to Meijer for this and that.

Stores under construction, it was hard to find stuff until I realized the isle lists were on the wings of the end caps. They should make them stand out more, even tho theyre temporary. Still, fully stocked and had everything I needed.

I used to go to krogers for bottle returns but the machine was either full or the room was closed and they only have 1. Now that your bottle return is outside its more convenient and I always buy more than what my bottle return is

Made an online pick up order last night with a coupon for buy one get one free diapers. Today when I drove from britton to Ypsilanti to pick them up, they informed me they only had half of my order. Why would I want half of my order? The point of me buying them was because I could get a free box. So why would you allow people to make online orders if you are just going to sell them out from underneath them? Not only did I not get my order, I lost my $3 mperks reward that I earned. I also ended up calling customer service because they charged me for my order anyway

This store is horrible now, its like the new Walmart. Cant find anything, shelves are never stocked and they never have bottled water now except that gross Dasani water

I shop here alot and I think its got alot of variety and value. Its pretty much my go to for most things. Theyve done alot of work on the exterior and interior. Its looking really good and honestly Im glad the construction stuff outside is done.

Long lines even before they started remodeling (and as of June, the remodel has shut down half of the self checkout lanes, making the existing lines even longer) . Bad selection of just about everything. The prices are good for what they *do* have, but most nearby stores have a better selection and a way shorter line.

Reminds me of everything bad about Michigan, and life itself. Just imagine being surrounded by rude heathens who don’t care if they ram you with their carts, store workers who are clearly being oppressed by a Republican congressman/oligarch, and never finding what you’re looking for, and you can save yourself the bother of seeing it firsthand. Hard pass.

Meijers is a pretty nice place to shop, very cheap prices. A lot cheaper than Busches Value Land. At Busches a green pepper is $2.99 and Meijers here its only $.49. Thats a bargen

This Meijer on Carpenter road is undergoing major renovations including expansion. Everything inside had been rearranged although it must noted that I didnt notice any dust at all on the inside! Mejiers has done an exceptional job in keeping things clean and well organized!

Its a good enough store on the whole. But the years long construction just adds a certain je ne sais quoi. Maybe its the air of danger...I like it.

Biggest mijer Ive ever been in, nearly got lost in the store. Very impressed, huge pet supply selection too. Unfortunately they were under remodel and I couldnt find half the things I was looking for. cant wait to come back again when the store is finish.

Having issues with the rearrangement of certain departments. But am glad to see the outside is finally remodeled.

I went in there alone at night and I was being followed my entire time there by secret shoppers!! I felt very uncomfortable because of my race. I did not see them following anyone else the opposite of my race which is very disturbing... I just wanted to shop, I will never go there again!!

Currently being remodeled (again) so, it can be rough trying to find what youre looking for, but overall not the worst. However, this Meijer gets VERY busy from about 3:30pm on, so be careful if you just need to grab a couple items on the way home from work.

Meijer is doing well to follow covid 19 precautions, the employees are kind and helpful. It is definitely a great place to shop and its easy to find all the items in the store. The only reasons I give this four stars is because of lines usually being long, and I fell on ice in the parking lot. My husband let them know where to put salt out and they did right away, and they offered to talk to me and see if I needed some ice but I knew we needed to hurry so I just kept going and powered through my trip. Overall a very nice store, kind and knowledgeable employees. Love shopping at Meijer.

So idk if this is a reflection of Meijer but I’ve come here several times and your door greeter either doesn’t greet black people or avoids trying to and I have came in several different times and each time I wasn’t told hi or to have a nice day like others who aren’t black I literally seen him do it to the people in front of me and then I walked after them he turned the other way and told someone far from the door to have a nice day soo idk that just makes me feel a little weird

Ive shopped here for decades; its in the neighborhood. This major renovation was needed, as I think the last one was over 10 years ago. This time, its getting taken down and spruced up from outside to inside. The areas are attractively arranged. I really appreciate the variety and quality of brands and goods they carry. I cannot comment on certain particular areas, but in general, if I want tahini, I can find it, and not just one brand of tahini! Lots of tea and coffee, home goods of pretty good quality, including national brands. True, its being rearranged often and its a challenge to find things sometimes. They have helpfully prepared printed lists of what popular products may be found in which aisle. Those printed pages are in the holders where they keep the weekly ad flyers.I really like their fresh produce -- and now that its at the front of the store, its easier to shop for. They have all new freezers and coolers, and their cheeses and pre-packaged lettuces and even the dairy products like packaged cheese and yogurt are kept behind closed doors in the coolers. I have high hopes for this store.I will also mention that it is a versatile store: great sales, a digital rewards and coupon program that has saved me tons of money, and an excellent pharmacy. I even got my shingles shots there. I like their garden center.A shoutout to the many people and crews who are working on this renovation. Without exception, they have been courteous and friendly. A big shoutout to the staff, too. I see many familiar faces; everybody is calm and helpful.Meijer will recycle your plastic grocery bags. They have hand sanitizer at the door, wipes for your cart, and plenty of cart corrals in the parking lot. Oh yes, ample parking!Thanks for being my one-stop shop.

If trying to get in there right before they close... get to the entrance BEFORE 11:50 at the VERY LATEST. Past 11:51 they are going to start stopping people from entering any second. Your arguement that its only 11:55 or 56.... Will not work. Otherwise, Meijer is the the best. Great mangers, Staff. A++

They are remodeling the store, but the guys working there were very helpful telling us where to find things we were looking for.

New store layout! It will take some time to get comfortable with this. Bought six bottles of wine, no bottle carrier at the cashier and did not see any in the liquor area. Makes these items difficult to transport.

This place is under massive construction, but is normally a decent place to shop. Right now, its just a big mess.

Another great Meijer location. Lines are a bit long to wait in as the cashiers can be slow sometimes, but otherwise a great place to shop.

Staff is always very rude. The greeters are unnecessary, sometimes I just want to walk into a store without saying hello to someone. The entrance situation has been poorly managed while under construction. The parking lot is always a nightmare. They’re often out of stock on basic items. The store cleanliness has become somewhat better, but it has never been a cleanly store. The lines are organized poorly and often times spill down the aisle way. The self check out is supposed to be 20 items or less, but people bring whole cartfuls of groceries through it, and the staff always allows them to do so, holding up people who would like to grab a few items and check out quickly. Since covid has hit, a meijer run has become one of the most stressful, and unpleasant things I need to do. If it wasn’t for the fact that they stock some of my favorite food items, and that I live around the corner, I would bot shop here.

Well stock shelves. I would say easy in and out but if your checking out in the u scan spot. Watch out for the people that used it alot of times but still look like its their first time using it,and the people on the checkout lanes check your stuff out like their at a bingo hut. So make sure your patience is on 10 cause by the time you leave it will be on 2.

This is by far the worst Meijer. They do not treat their customers with respect. I have tried to address these issues with corporate but they are not responsive.

Got my 2nd vaccine, took precautions just in case,vitamins,pain meds, just to keep the body in balance.The lady in the pharmacy that gives the dose on fridays she is a gem

Best Miejer in the area from my experience, as with any 24 hour store service definitely depends on the time of day and of course the individual staff.

Get all the things that is required for home. Like going here to get things be it morning or late in night.

The work they are doing on the store looks great. The clothing section is huge.

Disappointed bottle return does not open until 10am... early shoppers dont have bottles, cans or other returnables? Seems odd.

This Meijer is terrible. I stood in a line for 20 min. A worker comes to the person. Behind me to grab them and bring them to an open lane. I also knew that this employee directly looked at me and grabbed the old white lady behind me.

This place is a joke. Here’s the line with only 2 open registers and there are 5 people huddled up in electronics talking about how some higher up is going to be coming in tomorrow and to make sure you have your name tags. Just seems like a very poorly ran store. I won’t return.

The deli was a little slow...only one poor guy behind the counter...not his fault. My sandwich tray looks great. Very happy with quality and price.

Come here every week to grocery shop, and has been a lifesaver during the pandemic. Cheaper prices for the same stuff you can get at Target next door; friendly staff; opened late which is great since we work late and can’t grocery shop mid day like other people can. My only critique is that they restock to toilet paper and paper towels a bit quicker, but with Covid I understand and it’s not a constant issue. Def shop here!

I understand that they are going thru a remodel however the store was DARK, the parking lot has no light, and when I pulled into the parking lot I thought they were shut down originally. There has to be a better and cleaner way to make this store look better thru the remodel.

Has many different things for everyday home shopping. Detergent, dryer sheets, groceries, hand towels, soap, belts, tables, etc.Staff is very friendly and helpful.

For Friday it was surprisingly not as busy as I expected. with the covid getting worse I think more people are actually starting to get the clue that they should stay inside. Ann arbors always been good at listening to people period and Meijer is always been a good store to shop
