I previously wrote a very negative review but my experiences we’re in fact atypical errors that sometimes just happen. Unfortunately bad email addresses caused emails to be unreceived but when Derek Meluzio was made aware he did get back to me asap and all my previous concerns were removed by his sincere and excellent customer service skills. They made good on their mistake and everyone makes mistakes, so personally I can’t ask for more. Looking forward to a great dealer-service relationship. Thanks Derek.

This place has gone down hill twice Ive placed a morning appointment twice I was told they forgot about it and they even accuse you of not dropping off the car lol cars are pretty big. Ive had two different days ruined because I was out a car because they took all day to get to it and give you excuses such as I didnt know it had to be done by a certain time Well if there is no certain time frame what is the point of placing a appointment in a time window... Or you could hear something like It was a night drop Well yea it was dropped off at night so it would 100% be absolutely ready to go at its appointment window that does not do much good though when you dont recognize it to 4pm. Im going to give them a three simply because they have had done acceptable work in the past but twice now in a month span theyve dropped the ball hard.

8 months pregnant and needed a new car asap. First time dealing with Kia and had a great experience. I already knew I wanted a black K5 Ex or Gt. The older gentleman Jason(i think thats his name) brought both of them out for me to test drive. Fell in love with the Gt. I originally wanted black but they only had red in that style so the salesman Cody located one in wolf gray. Very happy with what I chose! When I came back to pick it up the process was a breeze! Would definitely deal with this location again!

Dropped my car off for an oil change and a recall at 330 pm and was told it would be a hour. Never got called to tell me it was ready and finally called them at 540 pm to ask how much longer it would be. Was told by sales that service was closed for the day and would have to come back at 730 am the next morning and there was NOTHING they could do for me. Horrible service and communication.

I am on my 3rd car from this dealer. Kia is a perfect fit for me in size, dependability and value. I have been coming here for more than 20 years and service is excellent, affordable and courteous. Last visit was to replace a burnt out headlamp as my arthritis makes this difficult for me. I was given appointment even though they were very busy. During my wait the service manager came out to those waiting and explained the computers were down and wait might be longer. Surprisingly my car was already finished and my car had been washed when staff walked me to it. Mng asked service staff how my car had been washed with computer systems down. Staff member explained he had washed it by hand. Now that is exceptional service!

Went there for state inspection and tire rotation. Ive had trouble over the years with various repair places not rotating the tires when I requested it. So now I mark the wheels so that I can tell if the tires were in fact rotated. York Kia did not rotate the tires as requested and billed me for it. I went back in and requested my money back for the rotation. Nine out of ten people wont know that a rotation wasnt done, so they get away with it. I wont be going back except for warranty work.

I dont know about the sales department, but the service department lied to us. My husbands Soul had a rod go through the engine, which was caused by a recall that we were not informed of, as we bought the car used a month after the recall was issued. York Kia did everything they could to try to get out of fixing the car. Even when Kia corporate told them to fix everything, they only replaced the engine. They didnt fix the catalytic converter or do the computer upgrade (which caused the engine damage). We had to take it back to make them do the rest of the repairs. Its ridiculous that we had to basically force them to do their jobs.

I have purchased two cars from this dealership in the last 5 years. In both instances I came to the purchase with my own financing and both times the finance staff were condescending and unprofessional. I dismissed it the first time but this last time was completely inappropriate.Last week the finance manger, whom I had not met yet, called me on a Saturday morning demanding (no exaggeration) why I hadnt allowed him to get my financing as they work my credit union. His tone was completely condescending and that of a parent disciplining a child. Upon learning that I was able to obtain a better rate, he proceeded to threaten to no longer work with my credit union and went on a tangent about how theyre supposed to get a better rate. None of which had anything to do with me or my car purchase. When I later spoke to our salesman about an unrelated item, he proceeded to offer his apologies for the behavior of his colleague.My husband and I came in this past week to pick up the car and finalize the paperwork. When our salesman (who was amazing btw) brought our folder of paperwork in to him, he flung it across his desk and threw a fit....not realizing I was standing in the doorway witnessing the tantrum. His tune immediately changed when my husband walked in. When we were finished and he was putting our paperwork together, he kept making underhanded comments about how this process wasnt what he was used to and how the packet of paperwork he handed us was so thin with hardly anything in it.The only reason I went through with the sale after the phone call I received, was because we put a nonrefundable deposit down as I was having the car I wanted brought in from another dealership. I came back to York Kia because our salesman was wonderful during both purchases. However, after dealing with condescending financing staff during both purchases we will never return. I cringe to imagine how many other women have experienced this type of bullying from the financing staff at York Kia.

What a GREAT experience I had at York Kia. I was meet inside by Wade I told him what I was looking for. I was just looking for the basic model of a Soul. Wade went over the other models but didn’t push. A couple of days later I told Wade that I was interested in getting the Soul but it would be a week before I could get in to finalize the deal. There was no problem Wade even come in on his day off to finalize the sale. Will definitely be letting everyone I know what a great experience at York Kia.

Went into another local Kia dealer for recall work, only to find out that I had a melted ABS system and wiring harness. The other dealer argued that I set it on fire myself and caused all issues myself refusing any service or even advice. Walk into York Kia and they assured me right away that it wasnt something that couldve happened in my hands, that it was a manufacturer issue, and fixed it instantly. They were friendly and Im so thankful!

Long story short, week after buying a vehicle from them I noticed it had a license plate light out. Come to find out, the wires had been pulled from the light socket. Said it wasnt like that when they had it, even though they replaced the bulb for inspection(they showed me the inspection log) so basically implied I did it. Refuse to fix it and the only way they would pay for a new one is if I bought the part and brought in the receipt, I live 45 minutes away. I even said I would do the labor. All that fight for a $10 part. Absolutely horrible costumer service.

As someone whos spent most of their life in the service field (ie restaurants/medical/etc) I have never experienced worse customer service in any industry. Before I left to come to the lot, I contacted The sales team and they told me to come on in to check out a specific car. I even double checked, asking if the car was still available. When I arrived I was told That car just drove off the lot 15 minutes ago ... after speaking with another person at the dealership, I was informed that, in fact, it was sold three days prior. The salesman then proceeded to show me overpriced used vehicles, one with a large burn hole in the seat. When I brought it up he said, Well, it is a USED vehicle. Any other time Ive looked at used vehicles they look brand new! This salesman also told me that he would email me if anything else came on the lot that I might be interested in, I havent heard from him since and its been over a month. On a different occasion, a different salesman tried to low-ball me on my trade in. When I mentioned the Kelly Blue Book value was significantly higher, I was quickly told, Well, Kelly Blue Book doesnt sell cars. I should have just looked at him and said, Well, neither do you...

I had a great experience with York Kia. Everyone there was very helpful and knowledgeable. Jason was the one who showed me the different vehicles available and he was honest and didnt try to oversell me something above the price range I was looking at. I was recently in an accident that could not have had worse timing. I was not expecting to need to buy a car at this time, but it was sort of thrown onto me. There were plenty of affordable cars and they were willing to work with my current financial situation. I didnt feel like an inferior customer because I was only looking at used cars rather than brand new vehicles in the showroom. The customer service was great and the entire process went smoothly. Any questions I had were answered promptly and honestly.

I leased a 2013 Kia Optimata from this dealership back in 2013. After a competitive price comparison they came out on top from multiple dealerships. Their sales team was direct, honest, and professional. I recently started the car buying process again and have just seen so many shady things from dealers that I felt obligated to come back and give York a positive review even though Im not buying a KIA this time. So this review is for a dated purchase but still hard earned.

Absolute worst dealership. Unwilling to actually make a good and HONEST deal. Constant run around between sales staff and manager. Took several attempts across two weeks to get a fair price on a used vehicle and trade-in amount to find out that the final deal was only valid if financed through them. I have perfect credit and they wanted an interest rate suitable for those with crap credit based on their financing. Just another scam car dealer trying to make a dollar out of you everywhere they can. What a joke.

Poor customer service. I wrote the dealership an email to ask about service and I received a rude response from a Jake Daggett. He had poor customer service and wrote back a 3 word response without offering any sort of suggestions or other help.Based on this simple exchange of emails, I would not recommend this if this is how they treat existing Mitsubishi customers.

*A little long but worth the read.*My wife and I bought a car here about 2 months ago and I wanted to wait before I wrote this review. It started off pretty well, we took a test drive enjoyed the car and sat down with Jake Daggett. That is probably the moment it all went wrong. We were talking finance options and I told him I wanted to look up rates through our credit union. Which happens to be ONE of the people they use. He told us That is who we would finance through. I said that would be great. We went home and thought it over and decided to buy the car. When we got to the dealership the next day they decided to go with someone else and not even consult with us to save us $50 over the life of the loan. That $50 dollars would be if we payed on the whole loan. Now if we want to make an extra payment or anything like that we have to mail a check out to Ohio. To make matters even worse they went shopping with our SS #s and pulled our credit score 4 times each. When all they would have had to to it was 1 time if Jake Daggett followed through with his word of using our credit union. So we had the car for a week and had troubles with it. It kept telling us we did not have the key WHILE WE WERE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. It turns off all the music and you hear a loud high pitch beeping sound THE WHOLE TIME. We called road side assistance and they couldnt help us just told us we would have to pay to take it back up to York from Lancaster. Called the dealership and they couldnt help us over the phone. They told us to bring it back up and they will give us a loaner until they figured it out. We made an appointment and guess what, they did not have any more loner cars available like they said they would. It took them over an hour to figure out it was because they never installed a fuse right that they had to install after they received the vehicle at the lot. I wrote the dealership a letter expressing how I felt and just like another persons comment Jake Daggett decided to respond with a very nasty response and wanted to talk circles on the phone to make us sound like the bad guys in this.We love the car now that it works but I would not recommend going to this dealership. And if you do I would not have Jake Daggett help you.

We purhased our Kia Sprotage in 2010, January. Everyone from the Sales Man to Mr. Craig who did our paperwork were GREAT!! We serviced our car at a MOM and POP Garage, accross from our house, due to the convienent location and price. They are in the process of closing their garage due to the high taxes in the city, anyway we have been looking for a new garage to replace them. We needed tires on our car and an inspection and fluids checked and changed if needed due to an upcoming trip. We search around and found that it would be weeks coming to make an appiontment. Then Praise God I thought, What about where we purchased our Kia, I wonder if they could help us, and I wondered if the price would be affordable being a dealership. AGAIN... ALL PRAISE TO GOD!!!! Yes they could help us in a timely fashion, and the price was VERY AFFORDABLE!!!! The service we received for both the time they put our tires on and mounted and balanced them, and the inspection and checking of our fluids was Superb!!! Everyone treated us with Respect and Kindness. We just got back from traveling from York, PA to Great Lakes, Illinois to see our son Graduate from NAVY BootCamp!! This was Aprox. 12 hours there and 12 hours back. Thank You for your GREAT Job, in servicing our vehicle we made it there and back Save and without ANY AUTOMOTIVE PROBLEMS what so ever. Horrible finance experience. Kia of York would not process my lease payoff. Kia finance says ANY Kia in PA can process a payoff. If they wont process what kia finance says they should, dont risk your business to them, they arent helpful in the least.
