We went in to buy a gaming pc, keyboard, monitor and mouse and were directed to an employee named Mason who helped us find what we wanted. He spent at least 45 minutes helping us by comparing diffrent PCs and their prices and all of the different components of all of the items. He answered every question we had and gave us great advice on everything. We made the purchase and felt great doing so because of all of the knowledge and help he gave us. Thank you very much!!

Great selection but stock is somewhat lacking at times. The good part is they will offer to order and ship it free directly to you. The people here have been very helpful. The service is good and they take the time to work through questions and provide their opinion without being pushy. I recently purchased some surround equipment and they were very knowledgeable about a fairly unique feature I was interested in.Prices are pretty good and seem to be in line with competitors both virtual and physical.

Your phone system is horrible. Extremely long hold times. Getting through to someone is impossible. I constantly get disconnected or hung up on. I’ve been calling for a week to see why my product was taking so long. They told me the product was in. When I went down to pick it up they said it wasn’t there. Corporate customer service, not location personnel, who told us it was there spoke to us like we were stupid. I explained all these issues to the geek squad supervisor when I drove to the York location and even he said the phone system is horrible and he hears complaints daily about it. All of your reviews are about poor customer service and the phone system. I’m just trying to call today because I got a notification that my product was in so I called to verify before I drove 25 minutes again. Guess what hung up on or disconnected. I was given a card with an extension for direct call, guess what the phone system doesnt allow you to put in an extension. I guess I have to make another trip, hopefully it’s there.

Went to see Geek Squad. Horrible service. They lost a screw on my computer, and didnt plug in my hard drive correct. They told me I needed a new computer. I took it to an other person, and they said it was fine, and could be fixed.

Do not recommend this location at all! Ive never been a big fan of best buy in general due to their habit of not having items that are advertised in stock to take home same day. Went in this time looking for a basic printer, did not need anything fancy. Salesman was aggressive, pushy, and was simply suggesting higher priced items not listening to what I was actually telling him I needed to use it for. He also didnt have knowledge of the products and was giving me wrong info. Purchased printer elsewhere and will not return.

I purchased an HP Envy from Best Buy about a month and half ago. Last weekend it wouldnt power up. I took it in to see if the cord was bad and worked with the Josh and Johnny at the Geek Squad and determined that it wasnt the cord. Josh was great and exchanged it on the spot. He recognized the inconvenience of being with out a laptop. I am a college professor and I am giving exams this week. Being with out a good laptop would have made it a very frustrating week. I really appreciate the people at Geek Squad.

Not sure these people know what theyre doing. My son had an appointment to have his iPhone repaired and their diagnostics prevented them from doing so. We ended up driving to Lancaster to the Apple Store to get it fixed and they were able to do it. Service is nothing like they used to be.

There is always someone at the entrance to welcome you or assist in your needs. Whatever it may be, its comforting. I have found the Samsung phone service to be on point and reliable. The digitizer broke on the screen and they replaced it in 2 hrs time. It was a good experience. Best Buy also has the best warranties. They will replace any defected item.

The York store is tucked away (not our closest store so this is our first visit) a bit but easy enough to get to. We used the curbside pickup option and our purchase was quickly ushered out. Vicious bullying manager. I was in store looking for laptop and found one and went to register ready to buy. Then the manager tells me that I need to put a mask on otherwise he wont sell it to me. I told him I dont think its a good idea. Then he stepped up and got in my face and told me I need a mask. I explained Im exempt as per the state executive order. He told me in aggressive tone he still wouldnt sell me computer until I put face shield on. Wow so much for compassion and understanding for people who are different from them. Interesting that this store would bully and discriminate against its own customers.

Its bestbuy, home of the credit card for buying things you cant afford. Best protection plan, return policy of any appliance store. Employees are always super friendly and I have yet to feel uncomfortable when have a conversation about any particular product. Definitely more important to me being trans, but I think anyone will find this bestbuy friendly.

Worst Best Buy I have ever dealt with. I got a very expensive head set with microphone from a gift and gifter didnt find the receipt. The headset was obviously not working and causing electrical pops when plugged in which could possibly hurt me while I tried to wear it. Store will not let me return it as per operator that does the Q&A for customer due to the store level not accepting phone calls.They discriminate due to your level of how much money you spend at their store. If I was an Elite member then you have 30 days and no questions asked. If you arent you cant return anything without following the shorter timeframe to fairly return items to the store. This item literally had the chance to electrocute me while wearing it and they are refusing to let me swap it with one in the store. Unbelievable!Well jokes on them! I work for a major company that needed 25: Samsung 55 LED TVs and I was going to use this Bestbuy for the purchase. Guess who I am not buying the TVs from now?An act of kindness can go a long way... I was within the 15 days and now I have to buy another headset because I need one for some of my work I do...I hate this place! Worst Bestbuy around!

After several days of my Samsung Galaxy phone notifying me of moisture detected on the charging port, I visited the Best Buy in York, PA and the Samsung rep. The phone would no longer allow me to charge via the port (wireless charging only). The Samsung rep informed me it is most likely dust and dirt and will clean the charging port of my phone for no charge. After the phone was cleaned, the notification was no longer present. I was fully prepared to purchase another phone but no longer needed to. Thank you Nathan!

If I didnt know better, I would have thought the store was closing. The store is only about 25% stocked. A large section of the sales floor is completely walled off. Recommend checking their web site to see if they have what you want and then just ask an employee for it (or use curbside pickup). Lots of employees though, so not hard to get help.Oh, and the hours listed on their website are wrong. The store opens at 10 AM on Saturday, not 11AM as listed on their site.

Disappointed for several reasons. When I finally was able to reach an employee he wasn’t much help nor tried to be. Instead of taking a minute or few to check the availability of the product I was inquiring about he just insisted that it wasn’t in stock. Then preceded to say they don’t have or keep any iPhones in the store. He said it made no difference whether I placed the order online or in store, iPhones ship straight from Apple and none are kept at any Best Buy store, unless a customer brought one in as a return/exchange. If that were true I knew chances would be slim but asked anyway if he could check to see if the certain model I was looking for, just in case one was returned. He said he knew off the top of his head they definitely did not have any. A day later I drive to that location, to my surprise they had not only one but 7 in stock and 8 in stock of a second model I inquired about along with a locked cabinet full of iPhone’s. BUT because I was told they didn’t have any nor do they stock them at the store’s I went ahead and placed an order thru their website and had to go with a model of the phone I less preferred and it was more expensive. YAY! NOT! From this experience I should have only rated it with one star but didn’t think that was fair due to one indolent employee. Past experiences have been fine.

In January I bought a laptop especially for $ 195.00. Two months passed and it broke down and the next day when I went to the store they told me that I had to pay $ 50 for the hard disk to pass the information and $ 200 for the change of the computer. I indicate to him that he does not have 2 months of purchase and they throw the package to the manufacture. Deficiency in Customer Service and the most annoying thing is that I lost all my work and contact that with so much work I was day and night in classes and important documents. Debut and farewell with this store. Always check your purchase receipts so that you are not charged for a service that does not appear on the receipt and the change and / or alternatives will never be made in favor of the customer.

Was trying to get my laptop diagnosed for an unknown issue and the service center kept my laptop for a full seven days only to tell me they wouldn’t touch it or even try to fix it because my four year old laptop is β€œtoo old”. Fine. Whatever. What ticked me off is when I got back and saw that they had dropped it right on the corner and didn’t bother to fess up to it. The case is bent inward and those edges are supposed to be completely flush with each other. It was NOT like that when I dropped it off. 😑
