Most of the time its alright.. sometimes the staff is short with you if you dont speak Spanish

I bought a pound of ham they gave me the bottom end of the ham I asked for thinly sliced the cuts were all uneven and the ham was spoiled and didn’t smell right, I went there humbly with the receipt and they would not correct the problem sorry ladies and gentleman but I let them keep the pound of ham and told them that they can now sell it to someone else, it’s said because I really loved going there, but for the record check everything you buy from there check expiration dates and also I will not shop there again, they preferred to lose a customer than to correct the problem, .

I believe its now Galo foods... I used the pharmacy for years but the service became very slow and not efficient I also believe the supermarket is a bit too expensive although I do love their cheese bread as long as you eat it within 48 hours or it will mold

They have good hot food you can buy for cheap and they give you good portions. I like the store they have good deals on soda usually but everything else in the store is pretty expensive, the same things that are $5 at compare you can go get at the dollar store or family dollar for $1 but overall its a nice store and the staff are friendly.

I only shop their if i need something quick and only if its in a can or box from experience the meat is disgusting. Chicken green inside, hamburger red outside and dark brown inside and the smell, i wont go there. No cash refund!!! No English speaking cashiers also cashiers have a tip jar! Parking is ok. Oh did i mention the mice running around the store in the day time.

Vast selection of international foods, affordable prices, bulk spices, good produce, fresh baked breads & pastries... AND a hot buffet, deli, smoothies... all around a great place to shop!

Im very careful when I buy somethings at this store. If you dont pay attention you could end up buying products that are expired. So always check the expiration date before buying anything and if it doesnt have one, then I say, dont buy it.

Its a good place. I wouldnt buy fruit there. More times then not there however they have good prices on meat the cut in store. Fun fact they will drive you home with your food if you live anywhere in Worcester if you spend over 60$

Good prices and they have a variety of foods. It was very loud and hard to figure out where everything was. Staff had a hard time speaking English but did mange to help me. They provided transportation for shoppers who spend 100 dollars or more. All in all its a good place to shop.

I was truly surprised at the meat selection that Compare Foods has to offer... It is actually much more impressive then some of our other local supermarkets selections. I recommend Compare Foods for their reasonably priced meat.

Prices may be higher for some products. I think meats are not bad. Food is good and place is crowded most of the time. Really nice people.

It has all kinds of food for a good price. The meat is very well priced at times. Plus you get a free ride home once you spend $75 dollars worth of groceries.

Always a bit hecting but it reminds me of the home I grew up in. They have the best selection of Spanish/Latin/Caribbean foods and ingredients.

They have amazing Spanish food for lunch in the deli section and reasonably priced for huge portions with friendly staff! Discovered a couple weeks ago and cant stop going now!

The store has great meat sales. But delivery service sucks. They need a better system set up.

Have you ever seen a supermarket with a tip jar? Or eyebrows threading INSIDE a supermarket, that has a section selling cooked food. I dont know how this place pass hygiene inspection

The cashiers are rude, neither the thanks they offer, no good day nor good afternoon, they do not look at you. The only nice ones are the ladies who pack the purchase.

You get your medicine and food at one place which is a very good idea.

Produce section lackluster. No really sufficient meat/fish. Frozen foods virtually nonexistent.It does have an extensive range of “hispanic foods”. So, specialty store in that respect. But it’s mostly canned goods and thus fairly unappealing. For the quality of the foods that they sell the prices are obscenely high, more expensive that most stores that back their product quality.On the plus side:The pleasant staff and the convenience of a proper pharmacy in store make up for the fact that you can’t really get groceries proper there, not if you want non-packaged non-artificial foods. But they do have a bakery, and that’s good.To sum up: Pharmacy, bakery, friendly staff, hispanic specialty foods.

This is a supermarket located in a notoriously drug infested area of main street. There is parking. The market is relatively dirty and messy. Also not a store that has the typical foods. Many off brands.

Check the expiration date on EVERYTHING. They have lots of expired foods! Alot of fruit and veggies are not fresh. If you are anything but spanish, most workers usually are not so nice. Their prices are expensive. Only good part about them is tgeir pharmacy. The pharmacy i would give 5 stars.

This place is where you can find your typical Hispanic food. Definitely I recommended.
