Acoustic Java has a great coffee shop atmosphere, good staff and friendly baristas, good food and coffee. Very fond of this place and I do recommend it! Personal criticism - Disappointed that the good food and drinks are served in plastic and paper to-go packaging instead of ceramic mugs or plates.Who doesn’t enjoy their coffee in a nice mug ya know? Also, looks like they are understaffed due to what I presume to be low pay rate. Good place for coffee and food!
Totally enjoyed my visit to Acoustic Java in October 2021! Best aspect, you feel like youre sitting IN the roasting area, because you can watch the action from behind glass. Great place to park yourself and get some work done (computer, reading, etc). In-store is nice layout of ALL their coffees and you can order a cup or pot of any of their many choices (something you generally cannot do in other coffee shops that have this many options - try doing this at Starbucks!) Food was unique as well - several interesting options of scones and other baked goods. This was one of the best coffee roaster/shop experiences Ive ever had.
Good coffee though some modern paperback books well overpriced with nothing labeled all prices are hidden on the overburdened baristas phones and missed part of our order. Butternut squash burrito 🌯 was tasty
Omg the iced mocha is AMAZING. it’s got a really unique flavor. the espresso is almost like smokey, but mocha is also really chocolately. very strong flavor. warning: ordering online doesn’t do much at all. cuz when you get there, you gotta wait in line to let them know you’re there THEN they make it (why it’s only 4 stars, no real way to order ahead of time to run in and pick it up). about 8 mins off the mass pike (each way), so a bit of way if you’re just driving pst worchester but SO WORTH IT imo.
The place was very clean. Smell was delightful due to the on site roasting process. The man at the counter was very knowledgeable. Had many questions on the coffees which he had the knowledge to answer. Was sad to see a coffee house with no people or tables due to corona. Was very happy with my coffee purchase and plan on returning. Prices for coffee were in line and buy 3 lbs get 1 free special.
Okay food, okay prices. if theres more than two people in line dont bother unless you have an hour of your life to waste.
Very nice and chill vibe with great coffee
This is a roastery for the local chain. A serious coffee place offering a compressive menu. I tried the Espresso con Panna which is not a easy find any more. The espresso base was smooth, almost too smooth and lacked character. It paired well with the homemade whipped cream. The only drawback is the cup was too big for con Panna and it was difficult to have the right ratio in each sip. It was even more obvious in the ice latte that the espresso base was thin in complexity so it was dominated by the milk. The barista I encountered were very friendly and professional. Definitely worth a visit for coffee geeks.
Where was this place when I went to college?! Very few coffee shops that I visit make flat whites well, and Accoustic Java does it right. There’s a huge glass window in the shop and you can see the roasters. I’d love to come back here for a tour. There’s a number of teas available, as well as Polar Seltzers. Funky art is hung up around the place for purchase. There’s also several bookshelves of used books. This is a great place for coffee or tea, a small pastry, or just hanging out.
Absolutely love this place. Their plain coffee is great and they know how to make an awesome espresso based beverage. The staff has always been extremely nice and their drink mixing skills are consistently good throughout. Also have the best vegan desserts. They’ve perfected the texture which is where most vegan dessert creations fail (in my opinion). But they’ve got it figured out here. Seriously try them. Acoustic Java is my go to coffee place.
This place was really interesting, books everywhere, some for sale and others just filling bookshelves. my cafe au lait was great. my breakfast burrito was great as well except for the beans being undercooked. I would go back.
Best coffee around, great atmosphere 💖💖💖
The people here are so nice and so helpful. I went here today on August 17th, 2020. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie, just a small one. The kid gentleman ended up making too much and gave me a little bit of a bigger size. Anyways, I went to leave and I fell and spilled the entire smoothie all over me. One of the employees saw me fall, ran as fast as he could and grabbed me some paper towels. Another employee working the counter made me a brand new smoothie free of charge. I will definitely be going back there again! Such nice people honestly.
Just really good coffee and beans.
Truly a very special place to have my fantastic mocha latte and blueberry muffin. My mocha latte always served in a special round mug with cream and whipped cream. I love the special presentation as you can see in one of the pictures with my delicious blueberry muffin I started eating. This wonderful coffee house is located just behind rotmans at college square in Worcester, MaIf youre in the area, I highly recommend stopping in. They have many varieties of coffee from all over the world an tea. The muffins and croissants I believe are baked elsewhere and delivered in daily always fresh and delicious.
The absolute best of best. If I could give them a 1,000 star rating I would. Their Ethiopian blend of coffee is unmatched. It takes skill, time, and a love for coffee to do this right. I look forward to trying other coffees from them. A fine coffee is like a fine porter or stout. Smooth to the taste and delicious.
Very good coffee. A nice spot.
Great whole beans and great drinks.
Great coffee, knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Little hard to find, but makes a great cup of coffee. Ordered a latte and it was served quickly and with some style. Drink was great and Ill be sure to return.
Excellent espresso drinks. Nice people.
Really friendly/helpful staff. Great coffee.
Tucked away behind a large furniture store, this is a nice find. Wide selection of coffee, teas, and smoothies. Coffee was excellent and the service prompt and courteous. Quiet atmosphere. Exceptional if you want to read, study, or sure and have a conversation. Highly recommend.
The almond latte was the best I’ve ever had here! I came with friends and we were greeted with the friendliest barista. Definitely recommend.
Nice little State Park. On lake quinsigamond. In Worcester. You have to come here if you would like to visit Regatta Point Yacht Club. Small sandy beach. With even smaller swimming area. Lifeguards on duty. The highlight to me was there picnic grove. Lots of tables. A few grills. All under some majestic oak trees. So you have the option of sunny table of shady table. All adjacent to the beach.
I prefer black single origin coffee if its done well. Went to Acoustic Java a few times in the summer and the coffee was off, I think it was how they brewed it and not the roast. Ive been back recently and the coffee has been perfect, cant get enough now. Im not sure what changed exactly but hopefully it doesnt change again because they have it figured out. Goodbye bucks!
This place is great! They have a library of books to read if you pop in by yourself. Enough seating for large group. Coffee and tea tastings offered every month. The coffee and tea selection is assounding!! Definitely going back.
My spouse and I did the coffee cupping event at the Acoustic Java Roastery location. It was a fantastic introduction by David (Manager) on how coffee is judged and how to actually understand the important aspects of coffee (roasting process, aroma, taste, etc.). After the event, I ordered a pour over coffee which was prepared so well by the barista and my spouse had a delicious flat white. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in coffee to come here and try the coffee cupping event and to also come try the coffee at this location. The staff is very friendly and they care a lot about the preparation of coffee. Fantastic!
The best coffee ever. The menu is full of new things to try. The tea selection is huge and best tea- you can see the ingredients. The barista is friendly, knowledgeable, handsome and helpful. I love it here.
Cool place with a very chill vibe. It does have a parking lot. It is not in a great part of Worcester and is behind some big old factory buildings not clearly seen from the main road. But they have a lot of coffee and tea options. A lot of books to read or buy. Their sizes are very big a medium is 24oz. They probably have 6 or so tables. Good place to try if youre looking to do some exploring.
Friendly, fast service, full of books, great coffee! High ceilings, open atmosphere, light music. Definitely worth going to!
Really excellent reasonably priced coffee! Great atmosphere with friendly knowledgeable staff. In my opinion the best coffee spot in Worcester.
Best coffee beans. I buy in 5 pound bags (one pound is free) and grind. And excellent service.
Delicious coffee and drinks. Currently exploring the amazing tea selection. The location is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful.
An amazing gem. By far one of the best coffee experiences I have had in Worcester. This will be my go-to and most recommended coffee shop from now on.
Had a drip-brewed barrel-aged Sumatra and it was one of the best cups of coffee Ive ever had! Nice welcoming vibe and relaxed atmosphere, friendly service.
THE best gluten-free muffins ever. Friendly staff and tons of vintage books to read or buy! Excellent coffee varieties and choices.
Amazing latte! Coffee is super delicious. Love the atmosphere, grab a book and enjoy some great Java!
Beautiful cafe. Rad books. Outstanding coffee. Nice peeps. Sweet tunes.
Awesome place to study, think and meet people. The owner Dave, is a knowledgable, passionate guy. We drive from Boston to get our coffee beans here.
I love the atmosphere and the barista! The vegan options are very tasty and I love the tea selection Ive gotten iced Green mango, hot strawberry mango black, and almond milk caramel macchiato and the bagel with vegan cream cheese and vegan gluten free pumpkin muffin! The sitting area is space and the whole place is very clean!
