Weve been shopping at Better Electric for over 25 years and have always been satisfied. The owner Ray is a down to earth guy and as busy as he is he always assists you or gets one of of his great staff members to help you. Its just unfortunate that the manufacturers dont make appliances like they used to but thats not Better Electrics fault! Great store! No wonder theyve been open for over 75 years!

What a great store! Our fridge died on a Sat night. I showed up at Better Electric (on the recommendation of my appliance repair guy) first thing Mon morning and within minutes had the attention of one of the most helpful salespeople I have ever worked with. He listened and tried to help me find the best fridge for my needs and one that I could get quickly. The fridge was delivered the next day. The delivery guys were amazing. Getting the old fridge out was no simple matter, but they did it and set up the new one beautifully. I will be buying all my appliances from Better Electric from now on. :)

Well I definitely made the right choice. Was looking for a window air conditioner checked out Job Lot no name 8,000 BTU. 299.00. DECIDED TO CALL BETTER ELECTRIC WHERE MY PARENTS WENT TO 70 YRS AGO. TOLD ME COME DOWN WE WOULD TAKE CARE OF ME. WALKED IN WOW NOTHING CHANGED SALES CAME OVER OLD SCHOOL ATMOSPHERE. ENDED UP PURCHASING A BRAND NAME G.E. 10,000 BTU. W-FI. BROUGHT IT HOME EASY INSTIGATION NICE LONG CORD. OH!!!! 312.00. Highly recommended 👌 great on hands honest company. ☆☆☆☆☆

Better Electric really surprised me. I needed a new fridge and fast. After consumer reports and price shopping, Better Electric had the best deal, beating out other major retailers by $500.They could deliver my new fridge in 3 days, and carry out the old one, all for free.After purchasing the fridge, I realized I bought the wrong one! Hat in hand and fully ready to pay for my mistake, they handled this dilemma so quickly and professionally I was shocked. They understood and gave me the nicer fridge at the same price.The delivery guys just put my experience over the top. We knew it was going to be a tight fit. They were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and experienced. They even removed a small piece of trim in order to get the fridge to fit properly and I wouldnt have noticed had they not told me.The fridge showed up in perfect condition, not one scratch or fingerprint.I rarely write reviews, but my next appliance will be from Better Electric.

I always love the service we receive here. I have bought most of my appliances here. Ther make the buying process easy. Their prices are always lower than the big box store and the quality even better. They may be old still but still offer modern appliances at a fair price with great service. Dont shop the big box stores and go to better electric already!

Bought a Maytag washer and dryer from Better Electric. The washer is so loud, squeaking and shaking and moving across the floor. Called them to take a look and the answer I got was to call Maytag, we only sell and deliver them. No apologies or sympathy, just call Maytag. Obviously they dont care about customer service/satisfaction and do not stand behind the products they sell. Likely an installation issue but they dont care to attempt to make that determination.

They arent worthy of the one star that I had to give so this review could be published. Would never purchase another thing from them. Called to see if an item they delivered could be swapped out. The man answering the phone was abrupt with me. He made no attempt to find a solution. He said there is really nothing I can do and hung up on me.

Awesome good prices

Better Electric in Worcester, MA has very good prices for good quality appliances for your home. They also have free delivery of the new appliance and free removal of the broken/old appliance.I just bought a dryer today and they are delivering it tomorrow. I also purchased a microwave and a dishwasher 2 years ago. They installed both appliances perfectly.10 years ago my 2 year old refrigerator pooped out days after the warranty expired. We purchased it at another store. I ran to Better Electric purchased a great fridge and they delivered it the next day. Great service and great people to work with.This company is small but they have the right appliances for your home or the right appliances for our home when we need them.Judy H.

I bought a dryer. It was cheaper than the same model at Lowes. Delivery was great. $850 with delivery at Lowes. $750 here. Store is old looking (1960s) but service was excellent.

This store was recommended by two people I trust who grew up in this area. I needed an air conditioner and had done some research about what I needed. I called and Stan was very helpful. They had what I needed and when I arrived, I found out the unit was on sale! Very friendly folks.

Untrustworthy. They explicitly promised removal of old appliances from third floor apt as part of the sale but delivery people refused to actually take them. The removal was why we made the purchase from them instead of elsewhere. Have taken out business elsewhere since then.

Not at all what it used to be!! For over 30 years I bought every appliance there and sent all my customers there. Prices were always lower than any of their competitors, but nowadays theyre higher than anyone, wont budge on the price, and the last appliance that was delivered here was damaged by the delivery guys and they made me deal directly with Maytag !! Im all done with these guys!!!

I went here to get a washer and the person there is prejudice I went with my family we are a young couple with three kids hispanics and we were alone around the store looking no questions asked know a white man and his daughter entered the store and they quickly jumped on them and assisted them very well little did they know I was there to buy one of there best washing machine there lost its sad
