Its a good hood store I guess. Its dirty and run down a bit but meh, it gets a lot of use and is a mix of income patrons. Some have some issues which is expected and ok. It has quite a few employees. More than it should for the lethargic kitchen workers efforts. Seems like it would be much quicker and exact order capable if the kitchen had some hustle. The Lil slim guy at the kitchen register rolls his eyes alot at patrons and sighs but he has never been verbally disrespectful that I have seen. He may catch the right crazy one day though, he spends far to much time on his phone. Maybe I should sell wings. They leave plenty of meat on the bone. So punny. I always wait 45 mins and people get served before me, I just watch and note. No biggie. I also get to see the upset people asking for refunds that cant take the wait and the lack of efficiency. The chicken is really really good. I wont stop going. its like watching a live mini series.

I love the fried fish and shrimp but everything was delicious as always. One of my favorite local eats.

I stumbled upon this place months ago, and was like what in heck? A kitchen in a gas station. The gas station cheesecake is also good btw. I had also seen about it on social media. I got the chicken Sammy today. It’s one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. Price is super cheap. Don’t be scared of it cause it is in a gas station. Dudes working were also very friendly.

Best deal in town! This chicken is so moist and delicious. Every time I had someone visit I’d take them here to get real fried chicken. This chicken is fresh af. I am distraught that I no longer live in the area and cannot go here anymore.

TERRIBLE service, never go to taste it. Timeline for my order:6:30 - Place order, cook did not write anything down, but said he got it. Told me it would take 15 minutes6:55 - Order not ready.7:05 - Chicken sandwiches ready but forgot about the fish, will bring it out to your car in 10 minutes.7:18 - Went back into store, asked about my order, was told we just dropped the fish, it will be 10 more minutes, Im sorry7:20 - I demanded refund and walked out, NEVER to return.

Very small store but they have a kitchen in the back. The chicken is very good and that is why I was there. The chicken abd wedges are not greasy. They have good prices on their menu.

Today was my first time eating there, I was having dinner at the village tavern the other night and my favorite subject came up chicken wings as it always does and a few people in my dinner party began to ask if I had eaten at J an J food mart they went on to say how good the chicken tasted and that it was priced at a reasonable price. I was going to stop at churchs chicken and remembered what I had been told about this place so I passed by churchs and ended up at J an J food mart and Im glad I did I was truly satisfied with the quality of my food and even better the wings were 50 cent a peice now Im full Im pleased and I have plenty chicken wings left. I will be going back thanks Jasper and Mark your customer service was great

Great food. Kitchen staff needs to work on customer service. They may be new but theres no excuse. Talking to coworkers and being silent to customers is VERY rude. All customers should be greeted. Remember our money helps keep you employed.

Today one of the Fire Chiefs picked up fish sandwiches for us after i told them i have been going there regularly. They had to try and now they are hooked to! I have never been disappointed. It was amazing, season perfectly!

The chicken is always flavorful and seasoned. The shrimp is good too. They need a stand alone restaurant.

Best wings in Winston! I got the daily special. 6 wings (cooked to perfection), plenty of wedges, a King Hawaiian roll & a 12oz. soda for 6.39! Best lunch ever! Might be dinner tonight lol

They have the best chicken nuggets and potato wedges! Awesome prices for great food! 12 piece nuggets with potatoe wedges as a side is like $6! Call ahead to order bigger orders and they will have it ready in usually under 30 minutes.

I started getting chicken livers there & they are cooked when you order them. Ive liked going to them for about a year. But today when I went there I got my normal livers & the 6 wing special for my boyfriend & the older cook (had a foreign accent) that was working was arguing with customers & rude & while I was there, for about an hour total time waited in line for about 20 minutes, not doing that again with the older guy (cook with foreign accent) that was working wanted to argue with me as well as the 2 ladies that were before me & they stated that they were there for 45 minutes total time. I saw several customers leave & he even told a customer that he was not taking any more orders...... I wont be going back as long as this older man is working there

I get there in 30..…. go in ask for my order ..the cook kept pressuring me to pay.so I pay get my order it all wrong ....the cook called me all kinds of names, curse me out....I tell the manager-owner..he act like he mad at me...ask me... what I want him todo..talking about he heard all of us were wrong....I said well they just lost good customers..

Placed and order for pick up was told that it would be ready in 15 mins. Got there within 15 mins and a lady walked in placed an order got her food and was told that was all of the chicken it would be another 15 mins. They may have good food but they need to get it together sometimes it’s worth it to pay more for good customer service !!! A lot of wing places in town with better attitudes!
