The Greek Village Market is a Hidden Gem in Winston-Salem I had the spanakopita, and dolmades, which are stuffed grape leaves I had Greek olives everything was fantastic, and delicious! They also have wonderful Greek desserts like baklava and many other Greek products you can buy as well as a Greek Orthodox book and gift store its also a coffee house if you feel like youre in a European market when you walk in there its a very neat experience

I have been wanting to stop in here for.a while. I got frustrated at work and walked over to see if they had stuffed grape leaves. BEST dolmades I have EVER eaten! Pastries look yummy, coffee smelled wonderful. Exactly what I needed to get my day back on track! Thank you.

Authentic. Family owned and operated mini market filled with imported products from Greece and beyond. I visit every week for spinach and cheese pies or to stock up on pastries, tzadziki sauce, mountain tea, and olive oil soap. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

This market is THE place to go. They have the best selection and such good food! The owners are the nicest people ever. If you are looking for a Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food market go support this one!

Amazing market! I go weekly for groceries as this store imports products in from Greece and surrounding countries. The quality is amazing and the service is wonderful. They also have a coffee house and dessert display at at check out. It is the best coffee I have tasted in Winston-Salem. They offer dairy-free milk for those with allergies. Cant say enough about this local market - check them out!

Excellent place for Greek deli goods. We loaded up on Saturday with all kinds of goodies - their homemade tzatziki is unbelievable and it takes a lot for me to admit that anyones tzatziki is better than mine. Their gyro slices are also excellent and the pitas they carry is the best I have seen.in the USA. We picked up this prepackaged frozen μπουγάτσα from there....oh my God, this μπουγάτσα was worthy of song. We also got some κασέρι and κεφαλογραβιερα....best cheese for making σαγανάκι. Congratulations to the Greek Village Market for all of the great goods they bring to our area....oh, I almost forgot, they also carry ούζο candy and Lacta chocolate....you just have not known great chocolate until you have let some Lacta melt in your mouth!

Love the olive oil and goats milk soaps. Favorite is the Lemongrass for the summer. Keeps mosquitoes away. They have spices, olive oils, home made Greek dishes to eat there or take home. Great Greek baked goods.

This is one of my favourite places. I go every morning for a coffee. They grind their own beans & even offer almond milk and organic cane sugar. They also offer coffees, such as freddos, cappuccinos, lattes, and traditional Greek coffee. Then there’s the market part... the owners import most of their products from Greece and other countries. Everything is amazing. This is such a gem in Winston-Salem. It’s local & the owners are very friendly.

Wonderful little store and cafe. They have a most delicious Cold coffee one can pair with one of the several pastries. The variety of Feta cheese and olives is one of my favorite things there. Maria and Petros are great hosts and treat you to try something new if you’re inquisitive on the choices they offer.Parking outside and a short walking distance from dealerships if you’re waiting on your car to be serviced.

Nice little Greek market, they have some interesting things. They also sell desserts which looked absolutely delicious. An there little sitting area is so cute. Im definitely going back to try the desserts.

Quiet and clean place to shop!

What a delight finding this place! Excellent Greek groceries, I picked up a can of chicken lemon soup with orzo and it was amazing. Cheeses, pastries and too much yum. Helpful and friendly staff, even if you are clueless about Greek culture or foods, stop in and put yourself in their hands.

A great little place to get some Greek goodies, highly recommend stopping by. I drove there from Greensboro just for some Greek treats

Your one stop shop for all things Greek! Wide variety of groceries dry & cold. Great fresh made Coffee, Hot tea & Spanokopita... My favorite is the grape leaves! ( most Greek restaurants in the area dont offer grape leaves! ) The Chocolate & sesame seed treats are on point as well! The people who run the place is very nice and patient. I ask a thousand & one questions everytime I go there and they always answer each one with a friendly attitude!

Husband visited with me this time. He was just as impressed as I was my first visit. Found wine handmade soaps and Hungarian noodles. Returning tomorrow for cheeses.

Went there first time this week. They have homemade soaps and lotions, spices, olive oils, baked goods like baklava, halvah. They have a variety of Greek pastas, olives and other groceries. Didnt notice a produce section. They also have Greek wine. A nice specialty market.

One of my favorite places in town. Great drinks and speciality grocery items you cannot find anywhere else.

Extremely friendly owners and staff, and variety of Balkan/ Mediterranean food. Very good coffee 😊. The place is a bit pricey, but its pretty much the only place in Winston Salem that offers these products.

I love this market! It is right down the street from my work so I go in there on my lunch break sometimes and Im always super satisfied with the products and the service! Maria is a doll, shes really sweet and I enjoy supporting local places such as this one. The spanikopita is the best Ive ever had. The baklava is also the BEST I have ever had. They have a great selection of olives that are quite tasty as well. My tastebuds and I love this place and highly reccomend.

Great coffee and great Greek pastries @

Found this place two years ago when I moved to the Greensboro area. It is a phenomenal market! If you know anything about Grecian culture or heritage they will multiply it tenfold! It has a beautiful orthodox greek bookstore inside, food and other imports that are hard to find here (also more affordable!) and they have bath and beauty products that are high quality and supportive of Mediterranean countries and their exports. I love it! They also offer a dessert case with traditional greek desserts and a case with lunch items like dolmas spanakopita, halva, the list goes on. And all the Greek cheeses you can imagine (plus Armenian string cheese which is tough to find) they are a true gem in west Winston Salem!

Excellent market with friendly ownership. I used to enjoy shopping here often for feta, olives, halva, macceroni, kourambiedies, loukoumades, kaitifi, grape leaves, and they have gyro meat and haloumi in their freezer! I shall now have to visit from Raleigh, I will look forward to visits any time I come back to triad area!
