I came in with no experience on how to do makeup and had no idea what to use or my skin color. Antonio helped me for about 30-40 mins he was so patient and sweet. I learned a lot and bought everything he recommended. Awesome customer service. I’ll be back for sure!

I used to come to this store all the time, even got my hair done here multiple times. But I honestly no longer feel welcome. Every time I need to come in, I end up leaving empty handed and frustrated. The staff is downright mean. I heard two associates this time loudly complaining and making fun of customers.At this point I’m done. We ended up leaving and going to Target instead.

I get my eyebrows done at the Benefit Brow Bar and Erin is AMAZING. My eyebrows always have the perfect arch and color.

I went into ultra beauty to purchase my Kenra shampoo and conditioner. I was running late to work and the cashier Rebecca asked me for my phone number I told her I didn’t have a number registered with ulta as this has never been a problem before. She asked if I had another number I wanted to use so someone else could get my points I said no, she then asked me if I wanted to sign up I said no I didn’t have time as I was late for work… she was rude and said I loose hours when people don’t give me their phone number… thinking I didn’t hear her right I said excuse me. She repeated the same thing so I told her well I don’t even have to purchase it and walked out… I will not be purchasing anything else from ulta beauty if this is acceptable behavior from their employees..

We went in for shampoo and conditioner. It was on display in the front of the store. Easy checkout and the staff was very friendly.

Stopped in on 04/01/21 for the first time. I had a great experience. I didnt catch the associates name, but he was very kind and helpful. Im very new at makeup and needed a bit of help. Even with the covid restrictions, I was able to get the help I needed. They are a little pricey, but great atmosphere.

From the moment I walked into the store I was greeted by a friendly employee. He helped me l pick out everything that I asked for he showed me around the store because it was my first time. He was extremely helpful and personable. It was my first experience inside the store and I couldnt be happier. The store is very clean organized everybody had mask on I have absolutely no complaints I will definitely be back.

I absolutely love Ulta and their products, those never disappoint! But the staff at this location was lacking today. No one even attempted to speak to me, nor help. The young lady working the checkout just seemed to have had better days. Just wish everyone would’ve been a little more bubbly. Makes shopping more enjoyable.

I contacted the store this afternoon 2/20/2021 regarding a product that was online. I even offered to pay on line or over phone as this store offers curbside pickup. The associate said she could just put the product up front for me until I arrived. Remind you I had a decent drive to get to this particular location. When I arrived I was told they sold the product. No others in stock. The lady not sure if she was a manager was rude about the situation and pretty much was like your loss. I will never recommend this location to anyone. I will not return back to Ulta. Customer Service at its poorest.

This was my first visit and I must say everyone was super helpful and nice and knowledgeable about the products. I will definitely be shopping with Ulta Beauty for all my beauty needs.

I love Ulta! It’s always been my go to place and my happy place. However today I had a terrible experience. I walked into today and wanted some help. Nobody helped me. Nobody asked if I needed anything, they just gave me direct contact and walked away. Staff were just chit chatting with each other. I waited to two different times to talk to associates after they were belong others. I looked then directly in the eyes and then they walked away. I said excuse me, and they just ignored me. This is not customer service. Terrible. I walked out with nothing that I needed. Highly don’t recommend this location.

Clean, big selection and I found all my needs right away. I love ultra and this location is perfect for all my needs. Although, my fiance came to get me a perfume the other day and the cashier gave away MY POINTS to the lady behind because he didnt know nor care about points... men. But regardless the cashier should have NEVER given my points to anyone else. Ridiculous. Other than that, always a good experience.

If you want an amazing new look than I suggest Ethan! He has been doing my hair for over a year now, and it always looks awesome. Lets just say if he was to ever move to bigger and better I would travel just to have him do my hair. Great Love for such a talented man.

Had bad experience at salon. The manager seems to not want to be bothered with complaints. Made a complaint to customer service and the store manager couldn’t even respond to that. I will be visiting other locations in the future.

I had good a experience overall when shopping in store and the hairstylist that did my hair was very helpful when it came to helping finding me hair products but when I asked for help for getting help with finding a foundation they told me Im doing something right now and they took they time helping me and came when wanted to help me with finding me a foundation.

I was looking for a item that I had come to the store looking for, they had the products displayed in the front, I asked the associate if any more was in stock she went back to the back came out said no she seemed like she didnt want to help to begin with. Walk the store and there it is on a shelf. Every time I go into this store there is a certain laziness with most employees. If you ask them to check if they have something in stock they act frustrated argumentative at times. Several times at checkout Ive gotten attitudes. Overall the customer service is terrible.

My wife purchased a few products from this store online and went to pick up with her ID on her phone. The associates were all very rude and stated she didnt look like herself and would not be able to pick up the item. We attempted to show them emails and receipts which were all in vain. We had to call corporate and wait for over 20 mins before the store would release the item. Upon its release the associate tossed the bag to us and said Just take it. The lack professionalism that was experienced during this process was mind blowing. Definitely will not be back due to the lack of concern or care.

Great customer service helping find want I needed for a gift.

I love the concept of Ulta but this store continues to disappoint. The employees are hardly ever available to help and certainly not available to help you check out. They fail to keep stock of popular drops and often have no idea when more may come. Also, I’m so tired of every good sale Ulta has is now online only. This is literally the only store I can think of that does not want to promote in-store business (not concerning Covid)

I also love seeing the representation and inclusion among employees at this store.. beautiful employees of all sizes, colors, orientations and genders. It always makes me and my friends feel so happy to shop here! The atmosphere is so different and welcoming compared to Sephora and other make up stores. Love Ulta, the only beauty store I will shop at.

Wayyyy overpriced stuff

I am an Ulta girl day, all day everyday! I usually visit Ulta a few times a month & overall the customer service has always been great! I recently had my hair done in the salon by Ty & she did a fantastic job. She was super sweet & easy to talk to. She also worked me in last minuet on a Saturday. There was a guy that worked in the salon too right across from her and he was very nice too and did a great job on his clients hair! I had a great experience and look forward to more in the future!! Ty is great!

I honestly enjoy the products and all thats available at Ulta. I absolutely love the new pallet I got. However I feel like the Ulta in winston leaves a lot to be desired. Theyre alway out of stock of pretty much everything. The associates that work there are sub-par and the customer service they provide is border line rude. Currently I understand why not being able to use the testers in the store, however I like actually seeing the product. Especially when it comes to eye shadows. While they did have some testers most were missing. Yes I will probably go back, but only because they are the closest store like that to me.

This is the absolute best beauty store I have ever been to. I was able to get a dedicated sales assistant too help me (a husband that has some color blind issues) be able to get liquid foundation to match the color my wife had been using but had been stating that it was becoming inadequate due to coverage and being heavy. While I walked in being almost utterly terrified that I was wasting time and money; I walked out confidently that I had a great couple of products that solved my wifes dilemma and also made a heck of a personalized Christmas gift that left me feeling like I had completed climbing Everest in a record time :). I would recommend this store to anyone who has any beauty needs. The best thing is that they have testers of everything in the store so you can actually see exactly what you are buying instead of a printed stylized version of what the shade should be. Good luck.

I have had several great experiences with this Ulta store. Kristin did a beauty consultation with me which was so helpful that I brought a friend who had seen my makeup and immediately wanted one for herself! Naomi also did a cut and highlights on my hair, which had been destroyed by a different salon, and did wonders! Highly recommend this place.

Do not get your hair done at the salon! Don’t get a keratin treatment there! I had a treatment done and it only lasted 4 weeks! I used the best shampoo/conditioner, sulfate, paraben, and sodium free. I only wash my hair once every 4-5 days. Maybe 8 times a month. It was supposed to last at least 4 months. Don’t waste your money there!

People spoke highly of this place, but I put off going here for awhile. I didnt want to make the 20-minute trek from Kernersville. On the way back from my counselling appointment, I thought Id stop by since it was on the way.I felt awkward as a man walking into this pink-and-gold-ridden store at first. Makeup IS primarily marketed to women, afterall; men dont typically buy it. Im a bit of an anomaly.I shyly asked for help at the checkout desk, and was lead straight to Sonya. She was wonderful, and made me feel right at home. She was incredibly helpful matching my foundation and answering questions; she gave me one of the best customer service experiences Id ever had.As for the store, it had a wide range of stuff, some of which I didnt know existed, let alone how to use. The prices ranged from single digits to nearly three, making this place the go-to building for makeup and other cosmetics. I was truly amazed at how many display samples there were, and that you could actually USE them all.Now, you can count me in as part of the club of people that speak highly of Ulta. Ill be coming back.

I loved my experience here, as in every Ulta Ive been to! It seemed a bit smaller than the one Im used to, and I felt like some products I usually see were missing! They had some pretty good sales in the bins up front. The associates were very friendly and invited us to some special makeup classes they were offering!

I am not an experienced makeup gal, but they have a knowledgeable sales team who are patient and understanding. I especially love the in house salon and facial spaces. My only issue is the cost of many items. If you are a budget shopper this may not be the best fit as prices for many items are high. But even with that one pitfall I have always enjoyed my purchases since I had a fantastic sales rep who knew what they were selling.

Well, I am not trying to be hateful and sappy but the lady helping me up front was rude and would not give me my free birthday gift. I had my i.d., the email address, and had not even redeemed it yet.I drove 35 miles to an appointment and was already there so I tried getting the gift. I dont know when I will be back in a town where there is an Ulta as we dont have one here. I never had issues before and I was feeling down about possibly having cancer so that just made me more sad. I was so looking forward to it. The store as a whole was ok. Out of stock of a lot but still had a decent amount.

Have lots of stock and products for men too. With their apps and coupons plus their rewards program you can do well on quality brand name items. If you need help they are there but dont hover over you. I also love getting shopkick points there. They also send coupons via real mail and sometimes in the paper.

Hey, I have two daughters who love this place! I know little to nothing about cosmetics, beauty supplies and perfumes; however, my girls appreciate the tremendous selections and price ranges this store has. We are always able to get good deals and they always leave with smiles on their faces. The staff is very helpful with answering questions and locating products.

Completely stunning array of products. This Ulta location is larger than others I have seen. It is clean and well maintained. So many products. My wife could spend hours in this place.

Great selection of products to choose from with lots of employees. However, good luck getting anyone to help you. Most of the time they are standing around talking, but you have to track someone down to answer any questions. Then they usually try to rush you through your questions and seem to be to be bothered. I would go here more frequently, but the customer service is lacking.

Was greeted as I entered, not asked if I needed help til I was in hair care. An associate breezed by asking if I was finding what I needed. I responded that I was lost looking for product I needed. The associate just kept on walking & no on else volunteered assistance. I finally found a product I wanted to try. At checkout they were very professional. I told them I found what I needed, but no one offered any help to find it. I expressed that the store is overwhelming by huge selection of products. She apologized.

Went there with my lady... she asked about a very obscure eye product... the first lady was in the middle of a treatment but she pointed us in the right direction we found them and wow were they expensive! As we were looking at them another associate asked if we needed help...she proceeded to tell us the good and bad about the product and showed us other options she likes better. Needless to say my fiancee was a happy camper when we left.

They havent had a truck since March so inventory is low or non existent depending on particular product desired. ALL samples are taped down and many are taped closed. So on items like lipstick it is difficult to determine actual color. No matching services are available. A rep suggested I check back in a week or so for products.

Have had a great experience here when it comes to simply shopping for makeup; the staff arent so pressuring when it comes to asking if you need assistance. Also, the salon is wonderful as well! The sales staff was hard to find. I dont wear makeup often so I had questions. It seemed as though it took forever to find someone to help. When we finally did, she was friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first time at an Ulta, it wasnt awful, but nothing to rave about.

I went this morning to finish my Christmas shopping and the staff was very rude, one associate acted as if she didn’t want to fully answer my questions she would not even look at me .

The trick to Ulta is in the points! Shop ahead when things are on sale or when they are offering bonus points. This is great if you know your brands! This location had kind and helpful staff. I asked a question and then the employee I asked found me in line to continue our convo with new info. Thanks, hairdresser lady! (Sorry I didn’t catch your name!)

Kris is THE BEST! I had an appointment for a make-up application and I was definitely a bit nervous. Its so rare for me to wear makeup since Im terrible at the application and the fee times Ive had it done at other places I look like a 1980s glamor shot (thats not good) she knew exactly what would work for me and my skin tone. The absolute best!

You lost two stars, because I didn’t feel confortable walking around the store because everywhere I went someone was following me looking at me as I was thief. The only good thing about my visit was a really nice guy that help me.

Very kind, knowledgable and patient. I went right before christmas eve and requested for an employee to help me find a makeup palette. She kindly informed me they no longer had the palette. After searching around, I found the colourpop table that were having sales and asked another associate to help me figure the prices out and she also kindly told me the prices and sales for it. Even though it was busy in the store they took their time to smile and happily help me out.

This store is awesome! I was a die-hard Sephora fan for many years but Ive begun to shop at Ulta more frequently. The staff is nice and helpful, there is a pretty good selection of prestige brands as well as drugstore labels, and there are so many products for literal head to to care to look at and play with! They also have some great sales and promotions throughout the year. There are often brand representatives there to help out if needed. Ive never felt pressured to make a purchase either. Its also a bonus to have hair, skin and brow services available in-store for convenience.

My daughter and I went to get some foundation. The sales associate was very very nice, and knowledgeable. She helped both of us figure out what shade we needed, and helped me find the right makeup for my sensitive skin.

A friend recommended I come here. Came in to get some foundation and left empty handed. I would leave no stars if it was possible. 1st off I saw 3 employees who was not occupied with other customers who walked pass me and didnt ask me if I needed help. I wasnt familiar with the type of foundation I needed as well as the store and where everything was at. I was just standing there lost. This was my 1st time and last time ever. They will never see my money!!

This Ulta has a nice selection of items and a variety of brands at different price points to pick from. However, if you need assistance and youre a WOC, good luck. The employees never speak to me until I get to the registers or I have to hunt them down myself. However, if someone is shopping in the same aisle as me, theyll stop and greet that person and offer them assistance but will completely ignore me even when I try to say hi. I love Ulta but I prefer buying online over going into their physical location. I only go into the store if I need something in a hurry or if I need to find a color match for foundation or concealer. If you need individual attention from associates that are willing to help, go to Sephora. Their staff is excellent.

April at the benefit brow bar is the best! So amazing, I did have to use Amanda (shes very sweet) in the salon for my wax service once but still happy with results. Clean store and these 2 young ladies are awesome!!

One of the larger stores Ive been in. They have a great selection of drug store and high end products. The layout divides they types of products in a way that is super easy to navigate. The only down fall is the lack of staff. There were not enough cashier and the employees on the floor seemed to only represent a specific brand not the ULTA store itself.

I had an impromptu meeting arise and I looked like a fuzzy cotton ball. I purchased everything I needed and they actually let me curl my hair. Awesome 💜

Everyone is super nice. All the staff spoke to me as a walked by. The associate that helped me was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the products. Thats really helpful because I hate talking to someone who doesnt know about what they sale. I was recommended some great products. I love how they show they product on the back of their hands, so I can see the consistency and color, or even the bristols on a brush.
