This is a really cool shop, unfortunately the employees are not very welcoming. I was followed around the whole store and felt like I could not shop in peace. It made me so uncomfortable I had to leave and will not be returning.

Recently found this wonderful store. They have large amount of hard-goods and clothing. They do have markdown system so some colors are on sale. Great shoes & designer items.

This is a wonderful consignment shop! I have found so many great things here. It is also a great place to consign quality items!

The selection here is often terrific and the merchandise interesting. I got a wonderful set of small plates here; the dresses are pretty great. Whats missing is the customer service component. I had a bad experience trying to consign a number of items--communication was poor and I was actually lied to. There was also an experience with a rude salesperson on another occasion. Despite the fabulous finds, I wont be returning.

Great customer service and awesome deals. I cant wait till they move into their new, larger space. I highly recommend it.

Called and ask about taking some things in for sale. Told the woman on the telephone that I had several suits that I wanted to bring in. She responded you must have 20 pieces. My response was that I did and that I was finally getting business suits out of my closet. She repeated the 20 item requirement and stated that the items had to be in season. I hurriedly gathered several suits, skirts, blouses and jackets and carried them in only to be met by this rude lady informing me that they did not take clothes that were three years or older. I attempted to explain to her that I had called and gave a fairly detailed description of what I wanting to bring in and was not told that they would not accept clothing that was older than three years. The rude woman said they would look through them and give me a call the next day. The next day after returning home from the Y, I picked up a message left on my home phone stating they could not open an account for me and asking that I pick the clothes up by 6:00PM that day(Friday) or no later than closing on Saturday. The message further stated that if I did not pick them up, they would be given to the Rescue Mission. I was very angry and felt that I wasted my time. In fact, the very day I dropped the items off, I left with a bad feeling. I feel rather certain that no one looked at my items. They were bunched together in the bags that covered them when I delivered them the afternoon before. I have never felt so humiliated and degraded as I did with this experience. Some of the items had the original sales tags on them and had never been worn. I will never ever go near that snobby shop again.

Paid $50+ for a pair of (slightly older style but good condition) 7s only to get back to Raleigh, put them on for the following casual Friday, and realize the zipper was broken.I realize this is a consignment store and not a manufacturer, but when I buy a higher-end product, I expect it to have at least been checked for something as simple as a working zipper. Normally I check myself, but in this case they were loose enough when I tried them on that I only undid the button.I still am giving a 3 star rating because the lady at the counter was very professional and took the time to show my boyfriend and I some jewelry that had caught our eye. While the sales associates were not overly friendly, I did not have the snobby experience that some other reviewers report having. Neither has my boyfriends family, who have shopped there several times. Im hoping this means that the problem(s) were rectified.Just be careful to check that everything is in good working condition yourself before purchasing.

Ive read some of the comments and am fairly shocked. This place it great! The staff is more than helpful and the selection is incredible. One would have to think that some of these people that complain about them being too snobby are put off by the fact The Snob Shop did not want their ugly clothes. To that I say... GOOD!!!! I dont have time to look through nasty clothes.I am glad they are picky and I visit there often!

I checked this place out today. Found very over priced items, and some very inexpensive things as well. I can see why . Found a beautiful dress for a low 20.00, but shoes too expensive. No fine Jewelry though.

Easily the best consignment shop in Winston. Excellent service and designer clothing you would never find in a place like ETC. Been open for at least forty years in the same location. Well respected and well regarded.

I love the Snob Shop. You never know what youre going to find, but you always find something you NEED! From jewelry, to designer handbags and higher end clothes, they have a mix of everything. The staff is great and always friendly. I never miss a chance to go to the Snob.

Unique consignment! Has always been my favorite consignment store!

The Snob Shop carries an eclectic mix of second hand goods. They are careful to include items that are fairly high quality, in good condition, and often include designer brands. In the past, I have found custom window fashions, e.g., curtains, that I estimate were selling for hundreds less than their original price.

My new favorite place. They take consignments and offer a fair price.

Majority Caucasian store, ladies who work there will not be nice if you are any other race. Furthermore they won’t accept any of your clothes no matter the brand. I’m Hispanic so No matter the clothes i bring, they call it “Dirty” when it clearly just has a little fuzz here and there. Spare yourself the prejudice acts.

The item pricing matches the name...if u can find things that have been marked down, it is reasonable.

This store had some cool stuff in there.. Me and my family walk in there was no greeting just stares felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable.

Love everything about this store, except for some staff. A little on the snobby side.

Why is this place still in business!?As human beings are we becoming so conditioned to living in an automation society that we no longer require good customer service skills! These people are inhumane! They dont even attempt to be kind to their customers, offer any help, answer questions or even help you carry large purchases out of the store. I have made the mistake of shopping there twice - I will NEVER make that mistake again! The employees need severe and immediate training in customer service and a diversity initiative.On another note, if you want a good customer experience, friendly service and great prices, just go a little further around the corner to the new consignment store thats opened next door the photo studio and for furniture look no further than Shabbytiques owned by a lovely, ecclectic lady named Audrey. Just AVOID snob altogether, just go around the corner start at Elizabeths (on the corner) and work your up the road - youll be glad you did!Personally, Im never going back to snob (and when I leave I take my blessings with me) I deserve to be treated well in any place where I am spending my hard earned money and I hope those snobs are soon put out of business when other people demand better as well!
