This was literally some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had anywhere. I was checking out and the mechanic was literally yelling and angrily pacing around behind the counter while the rest of the employees just stared. When I asked a question I was met with unnecessary anger and hostility. I was just there to pay and pick up my car and that what I had to deal with. Establishment is just trash.
Easy to deal with. No big sales pitches and did actual work like turning rotors vs. throwing new parts on it! Zack was super easy to deal with! I would recommend these guys!

False advertising - online . Friday morning I Chose the Reynolda store location online. I called chatted with Mike about appointment times. I agreed to schedule an appointment for that afternoon online. I chose the tires that were “in stock” for that location and added them to my cart. The out the door total was given and appointment times were offered. I selected my appointment time, opted for the pay in store, and waited half the day for that time to arrive. Drove to the location, sales rep took my appointment information. He then told me they only had one of the tires I selected. He said I could purchase the “next step up” tire which is more $$ of course. I asked when I could get the tires I scheduled my appointment for. He Saturday or Monday. This is text book false advertising and up-sales at its finest. Which is against the law. If I had selected prepay instead of in-store, I would have reported this would also be a federal trade commission violation. It’s now late Friday afternoon and I cannot find anyone with enough time to purchase tires before driving to GA this weekend... which is the reason I was getting new tires.
Very severely overpriced for what they do. Theres a lot of good local mechanics that Ive had better experience with. Not a friendly place either, at least when Ive called or been in.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I brought my suv to replace my front brakes then tried selling me a lot more than what I came for. Replace rear tires brakes and rotors. They charge you a bunch of money on fees. Please don’t go there. You will pay them $13hundred...
Got inspection done last week and not a single thing was wrong with my car besides the alignment, came to get it fixed which would be about $130 and next thing I know I am almost about to be charged $700+ because of all the things wrong with my car. These people WILL take your money if you arent well informed on cars

Brought vehicle here to service the issue. Explained that we would also do brand new tires if they gave us a good price. Well, they did the tires and changed a couple hoses only to turn around and say well your gasket is blown and we can’t fix it, but you owe us over $1,000!!! This truck should of never been touched if they were not sure of the problem. We also sure wouldn’t of brought it there. Stay very clear!!!

Scammers beware tried to sell me new tire when all i needed was a patch refused to patch then lied about tech even looking at my van and claimed my tires were to bald to work on finally i got my keys back and went up the street where he patched it in 10 mins and said my tires had plenty of thread $10 fee i know it was not a big job but to lie just to make a sale shame beware

Straight up liars. Im from out of town & I went in for an oil change & had a “car care inspection” done. Was told I needed new rear brakes IMMEDIATELY for almost $600. Declined and went to my local mechanic. He said my ALL my brakes are at 95% & whoever said otherwise was trying to scam me. Not surprised. Beware. & don’t be afraid to get a second opinion.

This shop charges OEM part prices for cheap aftermarket parts. A whopping 400% markup. Try to avoid unless your car breaks down in their parking lot.
Have taken my vehicles to Firestone Auto Care for over 15 years. I have never had a vehicle I didn’t trust them with. As soon as factory warranty is over, Firestone becomes the home for all maintenance. If they can’t get it right with aftermarket parts, they will get factory parts to make sure vehicle is fixed. Prices have always been better than dealer with amazing workmanship and they match all service mileage requirements. If you are unsure where to take your vehicle, take it to Firestone Complete Auto care!
Got a flat tire on our way home to Indiana from vacation in SC. we changed into our spare tire and made it to Firestone on Reynalda Dr. Shaun went above and beyond for us, making sure we were all set up with 2 new tires within an hour and a half. Awesome customer service!

Pretty pricy and not the greatest service. Tried selling me a lot more than what I came for, and when I asked how urgent those problems were, they acted clueless and just shrugged. Couldn’t tell if they just didn’t want to tell me so I’d give them more money, or if they didn’t know. They also estimated 45min when It was not busy and it ended up taking double that.
They did a great job of diagnosing why my tire pressure light was on and then giving an honest report. Greatly appreciated!

First time here, came in to have a slow leak looked at and of course it was in the sidewall. All four of my tires were pretty worn and they were very accommodating in finding a price point I was comfortable with for replacing them, including alignment. Worked me in within a reasonable amount of time while I waited.

I would not recommend this place to anyone ! I brought my van in to find out what was wrong with it. The mechanic literally looked at it for 15 min charges 130$ for the service and told me there is nothing we can do it’s a head gasket problem. I took it to a local mechanic he fixed the back hose and changed my thermostat and bam! I had heat and the overheating was fixed. So I was told by them it would have been a whole different issue but obviously they could have fixed the problem in their shop and we would not have had to deal with this whole ordeal of spending hundreds of dollars.
They did a wonderful job on suspension. Great staff.

I have gone to these guys several times now and have always appreciated their thoroughness and work. I went this past weekend and it turned out that I needed quite a bit of work. I spoke with Kris, Zach and David on this particular visit. All were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient in their explanations of what is going on with my car. Im sure as frequent bearers of bad news, they often are the subjects of bad reviews. That is frustrating because I feel in most cases, it is undeserved. Even though I needed a ton of work, they were helpful in prioritizing it, letting me know what could wait, and even giving me a list of suggestions for my next visit. I had a small miscommunication on one of the parts discussed, and because of that miscommunication, David offered me half off the price of the part. I am grateful that these guys are geared towards customer service. I feel safe knowing that my car was in their hands.
Id say overall this place is too expensive compared to other shops. Ive had brake work done here before and it was quality work but Ive had it done cheaper elsewhere. The last time I was here however I brought my car in to have the the rotors machined on my 96 Roadmaster . They ended up not doing anything to the front rotors because according to them they were in spec . My ears disagreed however on the drive back home. I ended up changing my brake pads and rotors myself and got rid of the squeak . The only time I go here is if I have a mechanical emergency on Sunday. They are open on Sunday if you cannot wait for repairs to your car.
This place is awesome!!! Very fast and efficient! Came in for Sumitomo tires they didnt have in stock, they had them delivered and installed in 45 minutes!!! I went back 3 days later for an alignment and it was completed in 30 minutes. Everyone in there seem to have fun at work. Great environment! Thanks again David!

We have been going to this Firestone store for many years for maintenance on all of our vehicles. We feel they are honest and thorough. We highly recommend them!
This place is a mixed bag. It depends on who is working and how overloaded they are. I got an alignment done alongside the brakes(pads/rotors/flush) last year(Dec 2017) and they didnt straighten the steering wheel prior to alignment. I should of brought it back but never had the time.They will always try to upsell you or recommend services that arent really needed til the part fails. So be very careful reading the print off they give you with suggested services. In most cases just tell them no and go elsewhere if you really do need it.The prices range from tolerable to way too high depending on the service. In most cases I would suggest making an appointment at places like Frank Myers service center that are much more reasonable on all services. Firestone is more for situations where you need work done between 5-7pm and no one else is open.
They told me they dont turn brake rotors. How a shop can operate without offering such a simple, basic service is beyond me.

I find it hard to want to go back here when I made an appointment specifically for an inspection, only to get there and the mechanic starts taking filters out and such. Then they come and say, you need this filter and this and you need an oil change and I finally said it s not time for that and my husband takes care of all my maintenance. I came for an inspection only and I feel that they saw a woman come in and thought well we can do this and tell her she needs all this stuff. WRONG...I may be a woman, but Im not an idiot. I know when all those things need taking care of and if I had wanted all that done, I would have said that when I made the original appointment. So when people ask for a yearly inspection, give them the inspection and move on.
These guys always keep me riding smoothly, lord knows Im always driving lol. Theyre very nice and always try and help save you money when theyre available coupons.

Would not recommend this place for auto care. My car has a hood latch that sticks and in order to close the hood you have to push the lever back in. I never had an issue with getting the hood open or closed before I brought my car here. I noticed an issue about 2 weeks after I got an oil change when I was trying to put power steering fluid into my car. I politely went back to them and asked if they could open my hood because it no longer opens. They were nice at first and when they realized it was jammed shut, they wanted to charge me for a replacement and to get it back open. I told them I felt as though this was not fair because I was not the one who got it jammed shut in the first place. And they responded with attitudes and told me they were doing me a favor by getting it closed. I asked if they would at least discount the price or waive the fee to get it open and they would not budge. They also proceeded to tell me that they shouldve charged me for the time it took them to force it shut. I felt as though this was not an acceptable response considering they never once came out to ask me anything regarding the car, instead they just took matters into their own hands. Makes me wonder if they forced anything else during the duration of the oil change on my car. I now have a hood that no longer opens and my car is an older car so it is unpredictable and anything can happen. With no longer being able to get under the hood, it is considered dangerous. I now have to pay someone to open the hood as well as repair whatever they have broken. Had they of offered some sort of discount or a way to take care of the customer that they have so thoroughly upset, I would not have had an issue. But I have an issue when people are forcing and practically breaking things on my car just so they can move onto the next customer. There is no excuse for this as I just had this car previously serviced somewhere else, never told the previous guy who serviced the car about the hood, and never once had I ran into this problem.

I took my car there to get an inspection and was told it failed because of the tinted head lights and turn signals. I asked whether or not the exhaust leak on my car would keep it from passing and was told that it would not cause it to fail. I get the head light and turn signal issue fixed and come back to finish the inspection only for it to fail again due to the exhaust leak AND an added license plate light issue. Not wanting to cause a fuss, despite having been told that the exhaust leak wouldnt fail it, I get both of those things fixed at other establishments. My wife takes the car there today, since Im stuck at work. It passes, but then they charged her for installing a bulb in the plate light that they definitely did not install and would not back down on the charge. They even threatened to charge the inspection fee again since it failed more than once, which may or may not be an actual policy, but it also wouldnt have failed more than once if I was told everything that was wrong with the car the first time it failed. I couldnt care less about the money, but the fact that they were dishonest with me and then charged me for something I know they didnt do is what bothers me. That is inexcusable. I dont know if all Firestone locations have such dishonest employees who lack integrity, but I know this one does. I know Im just one person, and this probably wont make a dent in their business, but I will spread this all over this area and hopefully it will make an impact.
Ive visited this place a while back because a caliper screw was went in wrong, and I was too lazy and busy to fix it. They told me that the caliper was stripped so that I needed a new one. So I agreed to get a new caliper.turns out all they did was just switch my calipers because the one in the other side look newer. And I highly doubt that they had my exact caliper in their store at that time I came in. So yeah I never go there for any actual mechanic work. one of the mechanics even gave me a smart remark saying its okay hell be back soon
Ive been coming to Firestone for years now, theyve taken care of numerous vehicles for me. I will continue to bring my cars back as they always do what I ask. The people are professional and personal and my vehicles are always ready when promised.
Dont ever come to this place unless you want to get ripped off for the bare minimum work done on your vehicle .

Went in to fix a problem with my car told me everything was done and I paid only to fine the problem still existed. Had to come back a very much so an inconvenience.
My car was initially towed there because of a flat tire. I purchased 2 new tires from them. It literally to them 2hrs to change the tire, the staff said it is because of the rims i have. Shortly after i continued to get a flat on that same particular tire. The 1st time they put air in it, they said it is because of the change of weather, the 2nd time they said it is because of the weather. The 3rd time i put air in it and by the 4th time i took it back up there because i did not understand why i kept getting a flat on brand new tires i purchased. They then proceed to tell me my rim is bent, what i am not understanding is why wasnt this said to begin with, they shouldve have seen this upon the initial visit. So not only that i had to pay for my rim to get fixed by someone else but also had to pay them to put my tire back on and not to mention they forgot to put my centerpiece for my rim back on which i didnt not notice until a day later. I called they said it wasnt there. i called a day later then they tell me it is there. They did not apologize for any of this inconvenience and they will never receive business from me again.
All the guys up there are as nice as they can be and are quick with all their repairs.
Went in for an inspection. They said I failed and that I had about a $1000 of issues that needed to be fix in order to pass inspection. I didn’t have the money to pay for it but I do have their credit card and they told me that since I have a credit card to just put the charges on the card. I could tell that they were not being honest or fair. So I took my car to a local mechanic and they told me that my brake light was out and that was all. So now I can’t go back anymore to this place.
I was in desperate need for a tire. They still helped me at 6:55 when they were closing at 7. They were nice and helped me though my mini emergency. I will recommend this place over and over. Tires were done with care even though he had to stay past closing because of me.
Visit was terrible, was ridiculed because they were more concerned with me getting something free when its clearly in the warranty.

Overcharged for everything. Parts that cost between $41 and $69 are marked up to $135. Charged an hour and a half worth of labor ($99) to diagnose an issue that I had already diagnosed and they called me 40 mins after dropping off the car and confirmed. So unless they have a time machine, I dont believe them. Then billed above the agreed upon price for the repair. Charged $40 to replace a headlight! Their hard upselling is negligent, and they find things to repair that arent broken. They told me I needed an oil change when I had one less than a month before. Complete scam. Avoid!
People are great but doesnt matter because they want 156 dollars for a single ( yes ONE) tire. And thats before they charge you a bunch of money on fees.

I come here for oil changes and usually make an appointment because its busy.however, i had clutch fluid leaking under my gas peddle and they said to go ahead and bring it in. not only did they make time to explain what was wrong with my car while they were busy, but they also changed my oil since it needed it anyway and offered to drive me home since my car was out of commission for the day.every time i go, they entertain my new car owner questions without making me feel dumb (what does a registration card look like? can i duct tape this back together?) and the guys there are just generally really nice and focused on customer service.

I have been a long time Firestone customer and have always loved their care and customer service, it is always the best! I moved to WInston Salem slightly disappointed that I had to leave my hometown Firestone because they knew my car and even knew my name when I walked through the door. I decided to choose this location, and I was not disappointed! The guys here are friendly, knowledgable, and kept me updated throughout the day about my cars progress. Like any Auto Care, there is a wait in turnover time, but they are thorough and care about doing their job, which makes it easy to wait. If youre in doubt, choose this place, youll be glad you did.

These guys will absolutely charge you for stuff you dont need. Theyll take out your brand new air filters, trow some shop dirt on them, then tell you that they need to be replaced. Hundreds of dollars. Maybe even thousands at this point. Ive spent a lot of money with Firestone, but never again.
Took my auto in for engine work due to stalling and hesitation issues. The technicians, Hector, and JW, seemed to have done an outstanding job, as my car has not given me any trouble since the repairs two days ago. Ive used the Reynolda Road Firestone in the past for auto maintenance, and the technicians thus far seem to be honest and straight shooters when it comes to diagnosing and getting the job done. The service advisors engage with customers and keep them abreast for the most part on the status of customers vehicles. In years past, Ive taken my auto to different (national chain) repair facilities and at times, have come away feeling as though the service advisor and/or technicians have ripped me off. I feel relieved the Reynolda Road Firestone Auto Care Center is honest and upright when it comes to recommendations regarding auto care. Hopefully, this honesty continues, as I know auto technicians come and go when it comes to this business. Im hoping to count on Reynolda Road Firestone as I restore my auto back to its glory days!
Went in after work on a Friday evening and asked for a heater core backflush due to my car not having any heat. They accommodated me immediately and fixed my issue when 99% of other repair shops were either closed or about to close and would have told me to pound sand. Highly recommend.

My wife and I selected the Reynolda Rd., Firestone for some very specialized repairs on our “new to us“ 1980 Jeep CJ5. We came back to Firestone based on excellent routine services – all change, tire rotation’s etc. through the years and the friendly atmosphere that the front desk always exhibited. When I mentioned that we had recently purchased an older jeep that needed special attention and the right level of repair, Chris described technician Johnny East and his personal attention and knowledge of jeeps and AMC vehicles.We met with Johnny and he took the time to listen to us and understand that our priority was getting our jeep in a safe and drivable condition and prioritizing things that needed to be done based on that lens as well as factoring in cost. With this older jeep we worked together in partnership with Firestone to both, have them provide parts where they could, and also excellent guidance to us of purchasing parts that were specialized and not in stock from their normal providers.We also received excellent recommendations for follow on work outside of Firestone scope such as the transmission needs as well as the exhaust system. Throughout several interactions with Johnny, Zach and the rest of the Firestone team we were extremely impressed with the professionalism and the reasonableness with which they carried out the service. Okay service. Very expensive because they have to pay corporate people at the top and they want the customer to pay for the TV commercials they advertise. Spoke with a former employee, they try to find things wrong with your car that are no emergency and tell you how badly it needs to be repaired.

Ive had 3 bad experiences with these folks. Take it in for one thing, get several diagnostic charges for things you never ask for. Last time, I took my car in for a quote to fix the AC, they told me one price, charged double, plus, several diagnostic charges for other things. When I picked it up, the AC only worked for only an hour then stopped working.Also, my GF took her new Honda CRV in with 7000 miles on it, cost her $1100 . They told her tire s were worn out, and a couple other things needed to be repaired.
