Had my first experience with discount tires and was not disappointed. They were a bit understaffed but made due and got the job done. I only needed two tires changed but there were a few cars ahead of me. Overall wait was about an hour but they got me out ahead of their predicted time. Ill return to them for my other two tires.

Such a big issue about customer service. Employee are very nice but there system is worse. A year ago I changed 4 tires and after few months my one was nailed and they didn’t fix that. They replaced one tire and they changed me around $75. Today I went for tire pressure indicating yellow blinking light pop out. They said tire sensor need to change and it’s cost $200 around, but I was confused and I went Walmart. Walmart mechanical engineer said nothing happened just tire pressure is up and down. They fix with out any cost. They just changed oil. Read this my words you guys and evaluate before you go any service about vehicles. Don’t do others like this please. Nobody has this much time to spend like this.Thank you.

Excellent customer service. The service was fast and accurate. After the service tech looked over the vehicle, I was given a range of prices of tires the fit the vehicle and they had in stock. I chose the middle price. I was given an estimate time,and was good to go. While waiting I over heard an other customer wanting to talk to the Manager....It was to praise the service and respect she had received while in their service center. When leaving I was handed the receipt and told when I should return for follow up service,at no charge. I am very familiar with Discount Tire from Colorado. I was very impressed with the service, respect and price. I will definitely bring our other vehicles in for tires when needed.

I’ve bought all my tires here in the last 8-10 years and I’ll probably continue doing business here. They just make me feel as if my business isn’t important and they couldn’t care less if I buy their tires or not. Kind of like “Here they are, take it or leave it but hurry.” They’re very professional but not very friendly. Last time they only had 2 tires for my car in stock. I had to wait 5 days on the other 2 to arrive. The guys in the shop seem 100%.

Lied to me for 3 days about my tires being ordered. Told me to come back tomorrow for three days. Finally returned the $50 deposit and told me to try somewhere else. Truly disappointing.

Went to the store to have them check two back tires. After they checked it, they said that that tire was fine and it was actually our two front tires that needed to be fixed. So after buying two new tires for the front, the car still had driving issues when on the road. Took the car back to the shop, and then they said that the back tire actually was bad and needed to be fixed. So instead of buying one tire to fix the tire in the back that really needed it, we had to buy three. It would have been a little better if they had just been honest upfront with the back tire. It felt a little backhanded to have a us buy front tires, only to come back and then get the tire that we knew needed to be fixed. Sure the price was good, and the service was fast. But really lacking in customer service. Ill be going somewhere else next time I need a tire for better customer service.

Everything seemed like they knew what they were doing when I left my car for new tires. Well it wasnt. First off they told me that it would be ready at 1:00. So I look at the app at 1:00 and it says its ready I go and they havent finished. I sit around for over half an hour till someone comes and talks to me. They didnt bother to call me if I wanted the rims replaced. I had one damaged rim. I had told the young man when I dropped it off twice that it needed to be replaced. I also thought he knew that he could see it it was a big inch dent in the rim. Well it wasnt finished till almost 3:00 because no one bothered to call me and let me know that he hadnt told me it needed new a new rim. Or to make arrangements to replace the room. Which I thought I had already done. Hes a

By far, the best customer service and business ethics of any retail business I have ever dealt with since the 80s. I came in because I need to replace 2 of the 4 tires I bought 2.5 years ago that were well worn due to my inability to rotate the tires as scheduled during the COVID19 chaos. They replaced all 4 at the same price as 2 due to the fact that the tires were 1 size off from manufacturers specs. The work was done in 18 minutes. I am now a customer for life.

Very pro, every one. but what impressed me the most was something one of the techs did. He finished tightening my lug nuts with a torque wrench. Its very important with disc brakes yet this is the first time I have seen mechanics use one inover 30 years. To the smallest detail, like wrapping my keys in plastic for covid protection, these guys are pro from start to end. Listen, most of us are anxious about service garages and many of us have been ripped a time or two. I had doubts just from the name discount tire. I would not say this if it wasnt true...these guys are absolutely 5 star!

Needed new tires for my RAV4 and was doing some research online and came across some tires I liked with Discount Tire. I called the store and the gentleman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and answered my questions. I ended up making a same day appointment to get these new tires on my car. Took roughly 45 minutes for them to replace my tires and everyone was friendly in the store and social distancing/wearing masks. Highly recommend!

The guys here at this location were friendly and professional. From the moment I drove into this location I was welcomed and the staff was pleased I chose to get my car serviced there. Im sorry I didnt catch any of their names but they were efficient and great at their job. No forced sales. Recommendations on oil suited my vehicle. Discount given for Healthcare worker without asking. Thats customer service. Will visit this location again to get the guys names who worked on my car so I can acknowledge and praise them on this review. I would not have any problem sending my wife here. Good job fellas. Been dealing with discount tires for over 20 years both private and commercially. Hands down the worst service and professionalism i have seen. CORPORATE needs to review this establishment from a safety standpoint safety glasses not being worn, tools being thrown from bay to bay. there was a mazarati owner that really needs to check his right front running board for damage caused by a jack that was not a low profile jack being jammed underneath. Jarrod you need to run a better shop. dont complain ever but this needs addressed. This establishment has a lot to learn. 8 guys working only 3 cars in at a time. 2+ hrs for a nail in tire and rotation. If discount tire corporate wants pictures they can be provided.

I came in the store to get one of my rear tires patched. When they were finished the gave me the invoice and didn’t charge me. I was really confused lol had no idea they patched tires for free. Thank you for your excellent service 😄

I want to thank the Discount Tire location Store NCC-10 at 130 Hanes Square Circle, Winston-Salem, NC. I was driving on the interstate through NC on Saturday morning 8/29 and my tire pressure monitoring system showed one of my tires dropping 8 psi over a one hour period. I was worried i picked up a nail and I found this Discount Tire location on my navigation. They brought me right in and throughly inspected all of my tires, and found it was a faulty air pressure sensor. They replaced it free of charge and sent me on my way. I am so grateful to the manager and all of the technicians who helped me that day. It is a terrific business with friendly, knowledgeable and efficient people. Thank you very much Discount Tire for everything you did to help me that day.

Ordered my tires online which was very easy. When I arrived to the shop they were very organized & accommodating regarding the Covid19 issues. All employees were wearing masks and taking proper precautions. I didnt even have to leave my truck. The staff were great. Worked quickly but safe. I highly recommend these guys.

Purchased new tires online. The installer called the next day to let me know my tires were at the shop. I set up a time 2hours later and they had my car in the bay in less than 10min from arrival. Tires installed and I was out the door in less than an hour. Nice experience.

I’ve used discount tires for several years, both on this location and the University Parkway location. I’ve used them to order tires and they have free air and flat fixes, which is super nice. Their tire fixes have always held up. The staff is always knowledgeable and professional.

As with last experiences, discount tire is the best place. I get better service here than any type of retail store bar none. Multiple times I’ve come to a discount tire with a flat and they fix it for free ASAP. Always friendly and professional. I’m sold for life.

For now, its best to make an appointment. They have you park and wait in your car until someone comes to you to get your info. Then they have you drive your car into the bay. You can wait outside on benches. You can go inside but best to wear mask if you do. Good service. Employees that interact with you wear masks. Mechanics werent. Inside the chairs spaced far apart.

Not sure how much one new tire cost, but this one was 140.00. We waited a long time, maybe because it was July 4th weekend?

Turned us away citing a costly repair that was needed which would also require more than they were able to do, admitted they didnt even take the wheel off of the car to look at it. We sought a second opinion elsewhere in town where they found no such repair was needed and fixed it right up.---We went by here earlier this week with our Tesla for a slow leak in one of the tires. They had the car for about an hour when they called and said theres a crack in your rim, we didnt even take it off to look at it because we cant fix this, youll have to replace the rim, which, for these tires, would be the correct fix and would need to be done by a Tesla site. We brought the car home and looked closely for the cracked rim, only to see that the cover for the rim was rashed (we knew this) and underneath looked ok, albeit covered in grime (as one would expect). We saw no sign of a crack, nor any sign that the actual rim had even been inspected as one may assume that they would need to clean it to look closely. Took the car to another place nearby for a second opinion, they found a leak in the tire and fixed it right up.I dont know if they were unfamiliar with Tesla tires and intimidated or what, but they set us up for a costly repair that wasnt needed and a trip to Charlotte to the Tesla site when the leak was easily repaired by another shop here in town. Will not be returning here again and will steer folks to away.

Just needed one spare to have a new tire put on it, shouldn’t take more than five minutes. I watched 4 cars that arrived after me go get four tires replaced while I waited for nearly an hour. They then had the audacity to tell me I had two cars still in front of me. A complete joke do not recommend avoid at all costs. They also have unnecessary ridiculous fees. A $90 tire should not cost $140 to put on.

They tried to upsell me on a brand new set of tires because one of my tires was more than six years old and then refused to rotate them after I’d already made an appointment and sat there waiting.

Free tire checks and flat repair for customers. Good management and senior staff, but junior staff doing most of the work seemed REALLY young and inexeperienced. New tires I bought were misinflated for my make of car to OEM specs. Had to correct on my own.

I have absolutely no reason not to give them 5 stars.

I bought a set of used wheels and brought them to Discount Tire in Winston-Salem to replace with the current wheels on my car. Come to find out three of the wheels were slightly bent. They refunded me my cash for mounting and balancing tires and didnt charge me anything charge me anything! These guys give great customer service!

Ive bought numerous sets of tires from these guys over the years, both here and the university parkway location. Absolutely zero complaints. Prices are always competitive. The warranty sold here is also one of the easiest to use. Ive had 3 or 4 tires replaced over the years without issue....and I draw this comparison with other shops in the area that have tried to wiggle out of giving me a replacement tire despite having warranty paperwork in my hand. My family hits a lot of nails for whatever reason.Anyhow, I usually wait with my vehicle as they almost always have me ready to go in 90 minutes or less, which I personally find acceptable. Staff has always been really helpful as well. You cant go wrong if you decide to buy some tires here.

Awesome staff. Super friendly & helpful. They dont mind spending time explaining things & helping you chose the right option for you. So many options at times it is overwhelming. Something you will also notice is this place is so bright & clean. Not at all like many other tire places. Some tire/auto repair places have such strong oil, tire, etc smells that I have to wait outside. Not here!

Love this place! Quick, friendly, super helpful. I did quite a bit of research before purchasing another new tire. They were very respectful and I didnt once feel like they were trying to take advantage of me or talk down to me because Im a woman (which has happened multiple times at other places) they were very busy but I still couldnt have been there more than 20 minutes. Ill definitely be returning.

Its refreshing doing a positive review for a change!This store has excellent customer service. This is where Im getting tires for my vehicles until something changes. They didnt have the tires that Id requested (online and their system showed a stock of 4, they only had 3 on hand) so they upgraded my tires to the next better model at the original tires price. They didnt have to do that, they could have just said Oops, sorry. We can order them and have them in 3 to 5 days but they didnt and they have earned themselves a loyal customer.Also while I was there I watched them help 10 other customers and every time, regardless of who helped them, they were always courteous, helpful professionals with no pressure sales tactics. They have a decent selection and competitive rates. No reason to shop anywhere else.

We could not be happier with our experience. Jordan and the other gentleman at this location saved us when we were without options. They discovered that our Tesla’s wheel was cracked. They performed a genius repair so that we could get to a relative’s home awaiting Tesla service for a tow. We will be forever grateful and if ever in the area and need tire service, they will be our ONLY choice.

The gentleman named Chris Lewis even looked at the tires i was not replacing and showed me wear on the tire i had not seen, and could of potential caused a flat. So while i do a lot of highway driving it was much appreciated that he went above and beyond what i had asked for. I will always recommended this place as their prices are unbeatable and also will recommend the protection plan. I was pleasantly surprised. I was in the auto repair field for 34 years and have seen how large chains have service writers trained to merchandise customers from the minute they walk in the door. The only thing they tried to upsale me on was a road hazard warranty, which I bought.All they do is tires, they use Torque-Sticks to prevent rotor warpage and manually torque all lug nuts before the vehicle leaves. No pressure to pay for another alignment I just had done 2 months ago, no telling me my brakes are shot, which I know they are not, no trying to upsale me to premium synthetic rubber valve stems or premium nitrogen fill, which is good for racecars but blowing smoke up ones butt for street cars.

Just left there! Great service with an even better price! Those guys are fast and friendly! I even called and changed my appointment to an earlier time and was out in 45 minutes with brand new tires! They never tried to sell me anything else or give me usual run around you get at other places.I am VERY pleased with my experience! David helped me when I came inside. I dont remember the technicians name but he was VERY courteous. He even opened the door of my own car for me.Thank you Discount Tire!

Great experience. Went for a couple of used tires, left with 4 brand new ones. Staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. They set it up so that I could pay for my tires in a few payments, that were convenient for my budget and my time. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I have done business with this store. Their service was excellent. They want to sell their product, but are not pushy. They really know their business as well. I thought I needed an alignment, because the car was pulling to the left and had developed a vibration. James stated it sounds like a tire was separating. Two new tires and pull and vibration gone. I recommend these guys highly.
