We went in the middle of the week looks like they would have him maybe a wine tasting class however it was a nice clean quiet place to have brunch with a good friend review some wine information and the service was on point we look forward to visit again in the near future come and join us!

Open for dinner, too. Generous portions. Tuna salad cold sandwich and tuna melt panini are my favorite. They used to have some artificial trees and decoration between tables were giving privite space. Now is all open.

Food was GREAT, as always, and the staff was very nice. We arrived at 5:30 and they close at 6, so I know they were probably ready to go home, but they were pleasant just the same. Our food arrived quickly, so we had time to search for the Elf on the Shelf AND got our birthday candy too!!! Everyone should eat there at least once...

Temptations is a delicious and casual cafe with lots of healthy options. The daily specials are always good and have reasonable portions. The service is excellent as the servers are attentive and considerate of customers. The prices are fair and reasonable considering the good quality of the food. Temptations has quickly become a Wilmington favorite!

The ambiance is great, its got great daily specials in addition to a fixed menu, I have to admit their Chicken Orange Pecan Salad is my absolute FAVORITE! But the menu is filled with delectable lunch items.Save room for one of their decadent desserts or, get some gourmet treats before heading out the door. Pick up a bottle of wine for your client or friend as the perfect thank you for joining you for lunch. Or, get a bottle (or 2) for yourself to take home to enjoy later.Are you like me and ever find yourself in a bind for a gift and youve no idea what to do? Temptations is the perfect place to call. Just call and tell them your price range and what youd like to see in a variety of items such as a picnic basket or you could bring in your own vessel and let their staff work their magic. They had a blackened chicken spring salad on special today, and it was so good! The mandarin oranges and fresh strawberries were very flavorful and offered some natural sweetness to the salad, but not an overwhelming amount (great for me since I dont like overly sweet things).The seafood bisque was delicious as usual, and the apple pie bread pudding was exceptional. Highly recommend Temptations!!

I’m not sure why I haven’t written a review for this place before as it’s one of my most recommended go to places to eat! 🍽Today, I had the French onion soup with their dill chicken salad on bed of lettuce 🥗 with their vinnegrette dressing. My husband had their hot roast beef sandwich and sausage with kale soup. Every bite is so delightful and they have just the right portions. Their wine selection🍷 is fantastic and their staff is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients in the food~this is helpful to those who have dietary restrictions. A must place to eat for lunch! 💯

Been going to Temptations for over 20 years and it always has, and still remains, my favorite restaurant in town. Their Temptations Chicken Salad is the best. I have never had anything on the menu that wasnt delicious and have never had a negative experience.

A favorite spot for Cafe food. Will surely make a return trip. The prices are fair for the quality of food. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.

Everytime I come to visit my Mom and family in Wilmington (which is a few times per month), I HAVE TO stop and eat here. Im totally obsessed with their classic chicken salad croissant. Its absolutely the best chicken salad Ive ever eaten in my life. I remember staying with my Mom for a few days after recovering from surgery and wanting to eat this darn near every day. As a matter of fact, once I was released from the outpatient surgical center and the anesthesia hadnt completely worn off yet, I was unconsciously begging to eat here haha. Being the best Mom ever, after she put me into bed at her house, she ran over to Tempations and got me a 1/2 lb of chicken salad to go (yes, they even sell their famous chicken salad by the 1/2 lb or lb). Once I fully came to and all the anesthesia had worn off, she brought me some lunch. I was instantly healed once I found out that my lunch consisted of Temptations chicken salad! Thanks Mom and thanks Tempations. Anyway, everything on their menu is so good. I also like their shrimp salad. Their sides are good also, especially their French onion soup. Even though they have many things on their menu to choose from to eat, I always go back to ole faithful...the classic chicken salad, and its hard for me to stray too far from that whenever I come to Tempations. My Mom changes her order around each time we go so Ive tasted pretty much everything on their menu thanks to Mom giving me a bite of her order to try. Everything is so fresh and good so anyone who comes here will not be disappointed. I look forward to coming here each time I visit Mom and/or family in Wilmington. Its a hidden gem that locals know all about. So, if youre coming here from out of town, check this little cafe out. I promise that you will fall in love with this place!

I just had lunch there. It is very convenient in Wilmington, and the food is good. However, it is so loud in there, we could barely carry on a conversation. If you want to visit with a friend, I wouldnt recommend it. The quiche was fairly good, and the choice of salads is nice. At $13 with tip, I think its pricey.

I go to Temptations at least every six months and I only order one thing on the menu, its the Grilled Tuna Nicoise Salad. Grilled yellow fin tuna on a bed of spring lettuces, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, Greek olives, capers, roasted red pepper, already dressed and shaped in a mold. On top, thinly sliced, toasted French bread served with a delicious tapenade. It makes a beautiful presentation and it tastes even better than it looks!Every time I go there I say to myself, “I’m going to order something different this time”... but I dont- because I cant help myself! The Tuna Nicoise is so good, its all that I crave!!! My sister raves about the pimento cheese sandwich or she’ll have it on a burger. She also loves the turkey, brie, and apple sandwich.Whoever I happened to be dining with always raves about how delicious their meal was. As a matter of fact I have never heard a complaint. The waitresses really know the menu and they’re helpful in describing the items and in making choices. The kitchen is open to the dining area so you can watch the chefs while they prepare the meals. The restaurant is always clean and neat and the atmosphere is nice as well. It can sometimes be crowded on a Saturday but not so crowded that I’m not willing to wait. I highly recommend this restaurant and I’m craving the Tuna Nicoise at this very moment!Note: I used to dine exclusively at the Temptations restaurant in Porters Neck And the last time that I was there I couldn’t find it my friend and I circled the parking lot a few times but it just wasn’t there! I went into a panic! I called my sister and ask her what happened to the restaurant and she said they are now called NOMA.

I was there at 5:40 pm today and the door was locked. Both your website and the door showed closing time was 6pm. Person at the counter indictated to me that the store was closed. Not good for business!
