This shop is THE place to go to when looking for the perfect dress. We were shopping for a wedding dress for my future daughter-in-law. We had an appointment as there were six of us and a baby. The whole experience was so pleasant and successful. There was no pressure and we found the perfect dress at an amazing price! I highly recommend this Wilmington gem.

If I could give them 100 stars, I would. They were very accommodating, respectful and understanding to individual needs. Great place for any of your formal gown needs- along with great pricing. I was ready to spend $$$$ to get the right dress for me- the cost was not an issue for me, I paid a quarter of what I thought my beautiful gown would cost! Very easy and beautiful process. No pressure at all! They really have YOU in their best interest. Thank you for a wonderful experience for a once in a life time occasion ❤️❤️! I had the absolute best experience here. We called and showed up with no real notice and the ladies were more than welcoming! After trying several dresses (and liking them all) Theresa picked up one and it was THE ONE! I really thought the whole crying thing was only on shows but this whole experience was so overwhelming in the best way and it just happened. I went to David’s Bridal and had a less than pleasant experience to put it nicely, then came here and it was completely different. The owner Theresa is absolutely wonderful, so sweet, never felt rushed, took her time with me, and I found MY dress and beautiful accessories at an unbelievable price!! Im so happy I found my dress from here! They are so patient and sweet. I think I tried on about 20 dresses and not once did they complain. They know their inventory very well and were helpful in pulling things off the shelves that fit what I wanted but also let me browse on my own. All the dresses are AMAZING prices too. I popped in here on a whim. Immediately I was treated with so much kindness and excitement. The two women who work there are so incredible and kind. I felt so very taken care of and they really listened to me and what I was looking for rather than just pushing dresses on me that I wasn’t interested in. The dress prices are so great! I couldn’t spend a lot of money on a dress and I was able to find something stunning for an unbeatable price! And let me also say - they have some very unique dresses there that I was unable to find other places I went! I was astounded by some of the dresses I found there! I felt like no one else would ever have something like my dress. All of that plus the incredible service I received made this bride very happy. Don’t shrug off this little business! You could be missing out on your dress! I will recommend them to everyone. Even people from out of town.

I absolutely do not have enough room to give Ms. Theresa the praise she deserves for the business she owns and how she runs it. I had never tried on a wedding dress, and after a nasty call from Davids Bridal about my appointment I was upset and called her to see about scheduling with her. She is the absolute sweetest person ever, and very understanding and accommodating. She has a great sense of style when it comes to each individual client and extremely good customer service. I could not have had a better experience buying my dress. She makes you feel important and she is not pushy like a salesman atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend The Dressing Room for any dress needs.

I stopped in there looking for a dress that was not over priced and loved the first dress I tried on. The lady was so sweet and helpful! I would recommend this place for a dress for any occasion!

I am not a fan of dress shopping and needed a dress for my cousins wedding which is a black tie wedding. The ladies at this shop made me feel right at home and were super helpful. You can tell that they care and truly want you to find the right dress. Also, its wonderful to be able to support a local shop instead of your average, crazy Davids Bridal shop. I will definitely continue to shop here when I need a dress for a special occasion.

I looked at every other store in the area and couldnt find a good dress for the marine corps ball at a decent price. With one week left to find a dress all my problems would have been solved if I had just come here first! She has a vast selection of BEAUTIFUL dresses at an incredibly reasonable price! She was very kind and gave her professional opinion. The seamstress she recommended me to was equally as kind and willing to pull off my last minute alterations. I highly recommend her and I will definitely be back here for more dresses!

This place had a wonderful selection of dresses, reasonably priced and Theresa was amazing to work with. She has a gift of matching you up with the right dress! Very impressed with her selection and service. The store does have limited hours so make sure you check their hours before going but trust me, they are worth waiting for. Shopping on the internet is overwhelming, Theresa makes shopping a pleasure!

Skip the headache and chaos that are the corporate bridal stores and go talk to these wonderful ladies first. Theres something to be said for someone who can look at you, name your size, and help find the perfect dress in record time, all while making you feel like youre a princess. Everything is reasonably priced, and the selection is amazing for the size of the shop. Go see for yourself and save yourself tons of time and headaches.

Just got my AMAZING wedding gown from here today ! After going too 4 other shops with none of them having anything similar to what I wanted, The Dressing Room saved the day ! I was brought a dress that looked better than the one I originally wanted and the price was FANTASTIC !
