I brought my car to factory finish and was very pleased from how they dealt with the insurance company through finishing my car. They were very professional, friendly and thorough. My car looked brand new when it was completed. I would definitely bring my car back to them. Very pleased!

The work on my car was done very well and was completed in a very timely manner. My car looked better than it did before the accident, not to mention the friendly staff and their attentive nature to my concerns and attention to detail on the paint job and body work.

Sometimes business make mistakes, but when they do, they should own up to them, and make it right. You can forget about that with Factory Finish. Youll be better off to buy some Valspar paint at Lowes and apply it to your vehicle with Walmart brand paper towels, outside, at the beach, during a hurricane.

Terrible auto body shop. DO NOT believe them on their word. Poor customer service. This company appears to do good work at first glance, but when getting into the areas they were supposedly repaired, it turns out they will cut corners if they think they can get away with it. Do not trust them with your car. I may add updates to this as they come back to mind because I originally took my car to this company at the end of Januany, was told I would have it back in a week, didnt get my car back for almost 2 months

So after deleting my first review pending some resolution I decided to make another review with an update. Short version of the story is I had the truck painted in the early part of 2016 by Factory Finish Auto Collision. It was an all over paint job with door jamb respray. I removed bumpers, lights, grille, and mirrors to prep for the work and save me some money. The truck was painted and given back to me.When I picked it up I noticed my American racing torque thrust IIs which were only 5-6 months old at this point were spotted and dull. They used wheel acid cleaner on my wheels which I had to correct with hours of polishing (and they still arent perfect). Also I noticed a week or so later that the headliner retainer plastic was broken and SUPER GLUED back into place after they tried to fish the cargo light harness back out, with no mention to me about it.I used the truck in my wedding October of 2016 and prior to that I noticed some paint defects showing up slowly. Also I noticed some paint popping up on the corners of the cab. I delayed the repair until after the wedding so it wouldnt be tied up during this time. The truck was brought back in, in 2017 for repairs. The roof and bedside were repaired and painted again and I received some pictures from an employee of the cab corners looking like Swiss cheese. I received a message from a former employee saying this was a known issue that was never mentioned to me and was just covered up.I had the cab corners replaced by another shop for $400 after they gave me a $1500 quote with me removing the interior. Also they brought out the paint suppliers rep to try and warranty the paint. He denied it and said it was a prep issue without a doubt.I tried to settle up with Factory Finish with getting a refund for half of my money so they could continue business and I could be semi-satisfied. They then tried to claim the paint job on their shop indemnity insurance so they would not have to come out of pocket on the refund. This was denied shortly afterwards.Months went by and I heard nothing until I wrote my first set of reviews on Google, Facebook, yelp, etc. After a few months of promises I filed a complaint with the North Carolina Department of Justice Consumer Protection Division. They sent a letter back to them basically denying all liability of the situation. Since this division is useless I had nothing done to resolve my issues. Here I am today with a terrible paint job from two years ago that I spent $5,000. I get sick to my stomach every time I wash the truck as it was given to my by my dad who purchased it new in 1992. It is my pride and joy and I try to keep the truck in tip top condition.Moral of the story is beware of this shop and god help you if you have an issue, because you will be stripped of your cash and left out to dry. If anyone would like to see the truck in person I will be out at the next several cars n coffee meetings(first Saturday of every month at The Pointe at Barclay). I am just trying to spread the word to protect fellow consumers and car enthusiasts like myself. Thanks for your time.
