Would definitely recommend! I had someone answer the phone every time I called and everyone was so friendly. They knew what order I needed to do things for insurance purposes and even contacted my insurance company for me which saved me more time. I received text updates as well as calls explaining what they were doing and what they still had to do. They warranty all their work and were very transparent with me throughout the whole process. They also never talked down or condescendingly to me for maybe not understand something the first time or because I’m a female. Oh and of course the work looks great!!! Would definitely recommend!!

My Honda CR-V was in a minor front end accident in May 2021. CARSTAR on Carolina Beach Road was great. Mary in the front office was super friendly, and easy to work with. My car was fixed in a timely manor, and the repair looked great. We had a follow-up repair question regarding a headlight, and the shop owner went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and satisfied with the repair experience. My husband and I would highly recommend this shop to our family, friends and anyone looking for a positive auto body repair experience.

They did an awesome job the the repairs to the car. I like the way they kept me informed doing the complete process.Now I didnt like finding someone else clothes in my cat an also I didnt appreciate someone going in my personal items in my trunk.

These guys are amazing!! Hail damage was awful. When they finished their work….my car looks better than it did when I bought it. Communication was fantastic! Loved how they informed me of everything, everything was timely done (as estimated), clean place of business, and flexible with my work schedule! Definitely be back (if need be lol)

My car had suffered some damaged that required my car door having to be replaced, painted, along with areas that needed to be buffed out and paint matched. They did amazing work. My car on supposed to be there for at least 9 to 10 days but I got it back in 4!!! I’m very happy with the outcome and how helpful and professional they were. NOT CONTACTED AT ALL EXCEPT WHEN THEY TOWED THE CAR TO CARSTAR AND LEFT THE KEYS AT THE TOW LOT. CALLED ME TO BRING THEM TO THEM. I WAS AT WORK. THEN THEY IGNORED EVERYTHING I ASKED. INCLUDING NOT GETTING THE CHOICE OF DECIDING WHERE MY CAR WENT. I WAS TOLD AT LEAST 10 DIFFERENT LIES. MY CAR HAS BEEN THERE SINCE JUNE 25,2021 AND THEY STILL HAVENT FINISHED. Update so I now have received my car and am very upset with the work. I will definitely be contacting the person in charge.

Upon the first visit, this establishment might seem friendly, but after working with this particular location their true colors began to shine. Not only will they call you a liar about the problems you experience, but they will also degrade you as well about fixing problems that occurred while in your accident or while under their care. If you are a female I suggest you never use this establishment unless you like being treated inferior to men. If I could give them zero stars I would. They did not finish the work they were rightfully paid to do, now I must seek corrective repairs from a different shop entirely. Tim and the manager John Hubbard were both extremely disrespectful when trying to resolve this issue. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking repairs.

We used this establishment because it was recommended by our insurance company. The receptionist Mary was very pleasant each time we spoke with her. Tim was the guy who gave the estimate, in my opinion was very unprofessional. My vehicles damage was repaired and painted, I got home looked it over thoroughly and noticed there were some bubbles in the paint. I took the vehicle back the following Monday, and they corrected the issue while I waited. I also noticed that when they did the repair, which was to my passenger side bumper/fender, they also replaced the passenger side fog light. I already knew my vehicle needed new fog lights on both sides (they were cracked and cloudy) and basically not working. I was happy that the repair required the one side to be replaced. However I wish they would have called me to ask if I wanted the other side done, and gave me the option to say yes or no as to whether I would pay for it. Instead they replaced the one, and now Im driving around with one brand new fog light and one raggedy broken, and inoperable fog light. I brought this to Tims attention and he said the tech didnt make him aware. I agreed to get the other light replaced and he came back with an estimate for the part and for labor. My response to him was you want me to pay for labor for something you shouldve communicated to me when you did it the first time? Again he said he wasnt aware. I was under the impression that he or someone inspects the vehicle once the work is complete, had they inspected it, they would have noticed the bubbles in the paint and the mismatched fog lights. Not only did he expect me to pay for the labor a second time, he also went on to say I dont know when I can get you in, the shop is busy right now. This is terrible customer service. The right thing would have been to apologize and take ownership for the oversight. Not only did you do a poor quality paint job initially, I had to take time on my day off to bring the vehicle back and wait, I have one new fog light and one raggedy fog light that I was willing to get replaced until I realized I was being charged not only for the part but again for the labor. And furthermore to then be told, Oh I dont know when we would get to it because the shop is busy. Poor customer service, and a terrible experience overall.

I highly recommend this place. I had someone run into the back of my car so I needed some body work done. I drove a hr away to use this place and was well worth it. They were very professional and very friendly. I thought it was going to take 4 to 5 days to get my car back but they had it ready for me in 2 days. If I ever need this kind of service again I will bring my business to this shop.

No body likes to be inconvenienced by not having a car, but CarStar did their best to make it a smooth and easy process. Their front desk person, Mary, is very friendly. I got my car back on a Friday afternoon right before close and didn’t realize until the weekend a feature on my car wasn’t working. Stopped by that Monday to ask about getting it looked at. Mary volunteered to take me to work the next morning so I could drop my car off at the shop, then they drove my car to my work to drop it off to me when it was fixed later that morning. Fantastic customer service.

Ive used them twice for minor body work. They were very easy to work with, corresponding directly with the insurance company regarding the estimates and payment which saved me time. My car is 10 years old but in pristine condition. The paint touch-ups they had to perform were flawless. They matched the paint perfectly and you cant tell there was work done. Ill definitely use them again. Also, Enterprise came to the shop with a rental car and picked up the rental after the fact from their location which was convenient and time saving.

I had a tailgate replaced and now it doesnt shut correctly, sticks and takes two hands to open it now not aligned correctly but they said it was because of the bed liner which possibly could be.. which is incompetence because me personally would never let a vehicle leave my shop not working 100% correctly if they are paid to fix it correctly!! theres too much bedliner so it wont shut without slamming it and it bows the interior of the tailgate.

This is second time we fixed the vehicle in CARSTAR, we had wonderful experience first time. I have to say we are not happy this time!! Had car accident and choose them again for the service, took more time than they mentioned which not a big deal, the biggest problem is they didn’t fixed my car completely and asked me the pick it up, my driver side rear door can’t even open either inside and outside, call them back tell them about the issue, bring the car back and have it fix again, and done and go home and checked, the door can be open from outside but not from inside. Geez, then call them again, they said the ordered the wrong parts!!! I mean, at least check everything, before you call the customer to pick it up! Or checked the part before you fixing my car! Now what, after another 10 days, NO ONE CALL ME YET! Then I called them asked if they have the parts in store or at least tell me when will I bring the car back! Poor customer service, so does the work done for my car(very poor)! And have to bring my car 3rd time today. Wasting my time ! I would not recommend CARSTAR!!

Twice in the last month Ive had to get body work done on vehicles in our small fleet. Mary is great! Communication was very good. The work was excellent. Quite convenient as well. Very happy with the outcomes.

First off, the first person you see when you arrive in the lobby is Mary the nicest woman on the planet. She told me everything I needed to know and was extremely thorough and very good at her job.. She had a rental for me, and let me tell you, she has a great reputation with the rental companys as they all know her, and that shows with the excellent service they gave me. I had a rental in 7 minutes.s far as the repair, this is where they really saved me, my insurance wouldnt cover a rental, and upon telling them that, they got my car done 9 days sooner, and the quality of the repair was excellent. I was extremely impressed by every aspect of service I was provided.

My daughters Jeep had a tree lim land on it during the hurricane. Being that i live in NJ and my daughter goes to scho in Wilmington, it was an automatic challenge to get the damage repaired. I contacted John Huber at CarStar the day after the loss. He was curious, knowledgeable, and just a flat out nice gentleman. I explained my geographic situation to John and he literally just took over from that point. John is an asset to CarStar and was a pleasure to work with. He kept me up to date with calls and pictures. He also delivered the Jeep almost a week ahead of scheduleI cant say enough about his effort and professionalism.

The experience was great overall. The people were courteous and clear, and I was continually updated on my car’s status. But, please wear masks when dealing with the public in a pandemic. That has scientifically been shown to reduce the spread of the virus, and we need everyone to do their part. Please understand this is not a political statement, it is just good science, which transcends petty politics. Not once did I see a person in your office, often standing a few feet away from each other and from me and my daughter, wear a mask. It is the considerate thing to do.

My car looks as good as it did when I first bought it. Its so refreshing to go to a business that does what its says itll do. I didnt have to call for updates because they texted me regularly. I was concerned about the paint matching up right, but its perfect! Believe me I thoroughly examined it when I got home in the bright sun light. All the employees I encountered were easy to talk to. Yeah, I would use them again if I needed to.

Very happy with the outcome. My back hatch needed to be repaired after being rear ended. Only problem, which I am going to return to get it fixed, is that something rattles inside the hatch when going over something small and bumpy in the street or like gravel. They than that, very happy with the job.

They didn’t fix it properly and took advantage of me because I am a woman that doesn’t know about cars. I do know if my truck doesn’t open properly, and that the “new bummer” is literally crooked, paint damage isn’t not repainted.

Which is important because I have a nice car I want to keep it nice. John Huber was a great help. Worked around my schedule and I just love Mary the receptionist. She made the experience pleasant. Excellent body work done on time. They also detailed my mess of a car and it looks great.

At time of estimate I was told three days, maybe two but say three to be safe. Dropped my car off 8 :30 AM on Monday, Jan. 13. They asked for my email saying they would give me regular updates. I asked for a small bottle of touch up paint, and they wrote it on the order. Wednesday came, and not a word from them. I called around 11:00 AM to check status. I was told the guy I needed to talk to was busy, hed call me back. He finally left me a message Thursday afternoon saying it would be ready Friday afternoon. Not another word from them until the following Tuesday. Got my car back Jan 21. So much for that keeping you updated policy. They also forgot the touch up paint I asked for. And they managed to get overspray on my windshield that I had to scrape off with a razor blade. I envy all the folks who had great experiences. Mine sucked.

They did a great job. The car is like new. All the rear bombers functions are working as expected. Rear camera and truck also working correctly. These are often issues with rear end repairs but not with these guys.

At the least I can say this company is polite. But as far as helpful no. Explained car was in collision and needed quote for insurance company. Plus as any normal person, I want to make sure the insurance company is not low balling me. Also told them if the car doesnt get considered total loss they WOULD get the job. Agreed to do so and asked to return Thursday or Friday. After returning they refused to quote becasue they work for progressive? Wait its my car, you would be working for me!! So much for trusting a local business to help a local client. Will never receive any work from me.
