NO, NO NO!Do not use this service for anything!. I trusted these guys to help me when I bought my car . I bought very expensive Firestone destination L2 tires from them. ($600 +) they give free balancing and rotate but its a SCAM. What I found out was when I would bring my car in to have balancing done they were screwing it up. BAD. I was on 81 doing 70 moh when my car shook so bad I had to pull over thinking a part was broken. A Second opinion said the tires were NEVER balanced correctly. HAPPENED TWICE! Then the tires I bought from them went BALD at 13k miles, I went in to see if I could get a refund on the unused portion of my tires ( 55k Warranty ) This was only 1/4 of the tread wear and life expectancy of the tires... I was told if I did not buy another set from them THEY WOULD NOT HELP ME. YEP. They sell expensive tires and bad balance them to get them to go BALD then they want you to spend MORE MONEY to buy new tires. A little over a year. YEP.! ..ONE YEAR.

Needed an inspection. Jordan took me right in. Nice to see him again. Good service at decent prices. Tell him Lee sent you, it wont change anything but will make me feel important.

I like the company as a whole, Ive always gotten great prices but, I will no longer visit this location for any of my commercial tires.Shop managers or anyone should never try to tell a customer what they can or cant do to there own truck! I dont care if the customer doesnt like lugnuts and wants to use bread ties... Thats the customers vehicle.By reading the other reviews, it seems McCarthy tire does what McCarthy tire wants and not what the customer wants.His shop, Ill show respect but, will NEVER return. Too bad, this is where Ive been buying all my tires

Purchased 4 Firestone tires for a birthday present 2 years ago for my girlfriends Jeep Cherokee. She picked up a small bolt in one of the tires which caused a slow leak. Went back today to have the leak repaired. The manager informed me they had no record of the purchase. I can understand getting a license plate number wrong.......but all the other info !!!! Then charged me over 21.00 to do the repair !!!! RIDICULOUS!!! A&A and Jack Williams would have done the repair at NO CHARGE. Would not recommend the company to my enemy..........George. 6/22/20

If I could give a zero I would. Waited 3 hrs after my scheduled appt time only be told the technician left for the nite. On top of that, the one truck of ours they did actually get done they put further out of alignment than it was before we took it there....very disappointed

Accidentally went in on wrong day, but they quickly got my new tire on and I was back on the road.

This place really is horrible. I went to the kidder Street location WITH an appointment. As I was checking in, the guy, named Guy, constantly stopped what he was doing to talk to and address other employees that had questions and requests. Despite having an appointment for JUST an emissions VISUAL inspection, I waited for over an hour to get my car back. Upon receiving the car back I commented on the appointment lasting a full hour despite it failing. I did not receive a quote to get it to pass or an offer to repair the vehicle, or an apology for any inconvenience, but rather a snide remark of, I didnt realize we were being timed it seems this place is most concerned about its commercial accounts and could care less about the every day customer.

Mr guy was very polite and understandable, he has a ton of knowledge and he knows how to run a business.

Good thing that you can stay overnight little bit tight for backing up.

Had tires brand new since november and now March my tire is so bald that you can see a reflection in it and they said the alligned my car and it was never done

This was the most horrible place to get my repairs done on my Winnebago!I only wanted the mechanical fuel pump changed because it failed, and I wanted the electric backup fuel pump sized up to preform better for when we go up in the high elevations in the west.Both of these things I would have done myself in an afternoon, but I needed an inspection, and since I was going to get an inspection, might as well let the mechanics do this little job too.My normal mechanic didnt have a lift to lift my Winnebago, so they indicated that McCarthys had a truck lift, go there.So I went there.The manager told me that he couldnt get to it for a couple of days.I kept calling to find out the status and progress.Three weeks later, after bribing them with pizzas, I got my Winnebago back.All they did was slap on a sticker, change my electric fuel pump, disconnected my mechanical fuel pump, and screwed up my wiring, and did I say that they slapped on the inspection sticker!Yep! I left and had no lights now, and none of my running lights work either, and my TV antenna was shorted out.They changed me over $500 and it really is not driveable without the running lights, so whatever they did, they should have never SLAPPED ON an inspection sticker!I am still trying to figure out what wiring that they messed with.Very Piss Poor workmanship!VERY VERY VERY DISSATISFIED!!!I will never go there again, or ever recommend them for any service work.

My son was in from leave with the Navy. He had a flat tire on a Saturday afternoon, McCarthy tire had him in and out within an hour. Great customer service!!

It was TERRIBLE. I got the super economy, there was no soap or wax, first time ever I experienced that! I think I should get my $10 back.

One star is the lowest I can go. It should be negative 5 stars. I sat there for 2 hours to have a stud fixed on a rim. They did not fix it, instead they said sorry we sent our mechanics home a while ago. Then why on earth did you have me sit there waiting for my truck? I couldve gone elsewhere and had it fixed in the same time! Now every shop is closed! I will NEVER go there again! Thanks for screwing me!

It doesnt matter if you have the first appointment of the day. You sit and wait because they didnt finish yesterdays appointments. Try Jack Williams Tire in shavertown. They are great and keep there appointments. I would never use McCarty again.

My sister had a flat tire and showed up at this business just to be turned away simply because they were closing in 5 minutes. She commutes an hour for work at Geissinger she begged for them to help her to which they turned away with discord and malice. If you (the reader) is looking to invest locally in a business with a decent humane customer service this would not be the place. Not a bad word to say about this Family business. Kind, courteous, respectful and caring. From the carwash to the tire service department, you will never meet a finer set of people. Im saddened by the lose of the Father because he set the tone to treat people with respect. One day many years ago, he picked me up with his grandson in the car, as I was limping to cross the street from an auto accident. Becoming homeless, fordging my way to Church. This great man simply asked can I give you a ride? I took the ride to church. Before getting out of the car, I said, one day when I get back on my feet, Ill remind you of this day. I recovered, went back to work, earned my position as a supervisor. I would see him in passing aways saying hello. One Christmas eve I waked to his office to tell him of this jester of kindness and how it impacted my life. He gave me dignity, when I had lost everything. Respect to a poor soul, to this day has great love for this man and his business. RIP Mr McCarthy. may the angels continue to watch over your FAMILY and those around them. The drivers lounge ( or lack thereof) sucks. 6 chairs and 2 stools. They got a T.V. on the wall with the Kelly & Ryan show on. Theres guys in here, and they got some retards talking about quere stuff.Theres a driver out back sitting along the building ( looks like a homeless guy ) sweting. No area for drivers or guys.

Went there WITH an appointment and they still couldnt get my car done because they are backed up on appointments.Dont waste your time.

They cant find whats wrong with cars or finish a job right. Couldnt find racket pinion steering, brake release chip, vibration due to heat shield, stalling while in drive and motor chugging due to gas filter had water in it problems. Had to go elsewhere.
