Amazing locally owned store! They pretty much just white label products, but they buy local too so you are supporting a ton of small business owners just by buying one product!! I am from Colorado, but thankfully this shop delivers because I have a feeling that the candies I got will not last very long and I will be needing more, lol. Regardless, if you are looking for a fun shop to get some great treats, or even just to stop in and check out, this place is a must!

Called yesterday to ask about a birthday basket delivery for my uncle who is turning 80. I worked with Hedica (hope I have the spelling correct), and she was a pleasure. She listened to what I was looking for, offered suggestions, kept my budget in mind, and was so patient with my questions. She sent photos before delivery to make sure it was what I wanted. I had terrible cell reception and couldnt open the photos until the day after the delivery, but the interaction I had with her gave me total confidence in placing the order. It was a beautiful birthday box and my uncle was beyond pleased. I would absolutely recommend the Farris Wheel. Hedica was responsive, attentive, helpful, thoughtful, and kind. Not only that, but it was delivered the same day. Couldnt be happier with the service!

They had great trail mixes. Candy was good. I got so much trail mixes to bring home. My daughter got a huge bag of different kinds of candy and gummies. I bought her a big gummy bear for her birthday. I think its 5 lbs. They have all kinds of chocolate but I couldnt bring it home without it melting.

I love this candy shop. I hope people will continue to buy candy. They are so pleasant and helpful. On Christmas eve they were running out of some favorites but still found many to satisfy our needs. Merry christmas and looking forward to a monthly trip to chocolate heaven in the New Year!

I love the farris wheel! Great people and even better candy!Candy has its origins mainly in Ancient India. Between the 6th and 4th centuries BCE, the Persians, followed by the Greeks, discovered the people in India and their reeds that produce honey without bees. They adopted and then spread sugar and sugarcane agriculture.[3] Sugarcane is indigenous to tropical South and Southeast Asia, while the word sugar is derived from the Sanskrit word sharkara.[4] Pieces of sugar were produced by boiling sugarcane juice in ancient India and consumed as khanda, dubbed as the original candy and the etymology of the word.[5][6][7][8][9]Before sugar was readily available, candy was based on honey.[10] Honey was used in Ancient China, the Middle East, Egypt, Greece and the Roman Empire to coat fruits and flowers to preserve them or to create forms of candy.[11] Candy is still served in this form today, though now it is more typically seen as a type of garnish. Before the Industrial Revolution, candy was often considered a form of medicine, either used to calm the digestive system or cool a sore throat. In the Middle Ages candy appeared on the tables of only the most wealthy at first. At that time, it began as a combination of spices and sugar that was used as an aid to digestive problems. Digestive problems were very common during this time due to the constant consumption of food that was neither fresh nor well balanced. Banquet hosts would typically serve these types of candies at banquets for their guests. One of these candies, sometimes called chamber spice, was made with cloves, ginger, aniseed, juniper berries, almonds and pine kernels dipped in melted sugar.[11]The Middle English word candy began to be used in the late 13th century.[12][13]The first candy came to America in the early 18th century from Britain and France. Only a few of the early colonists were proficient in sugar work and sugary treats were generally only enjoyed by the very wealthy. Even the simplest form of candy – rock candy, made from crystallized sugar – was considered a luxury.

My Aunt from ElDorado Kansas brought my husband and I to the Farris Wheel to get some candy that we had tried at her house. We were so delighted when we first walked in. We were immediately greeted by the owners and offered samples of anything we wanted to try. We all tried 3 or 4 different candies (the samples were generous) and we loved them all! They have several types of chocolate candies as well as hard candies, and nuts. The quality of their candy is very good. Also, they had several different themed boxes that can be used to create gift boxes for most any occasion. We were very impressed. The store had the feel of an old fashioned candy store and the owners who helped us were so friendly and helpful. The next time we are in the Wichita area, we will definitely visit The Farris Wheel. It was a fun and tasty experience!!
