Oh my! I have so many things I could say about this store! To start off, I had the best help from Ashlyn the consultant for not only my dress but also my bridesmaid dresses. Then, when we had to reschedule they were more than ready to accommodate. After that we moved states and everyone worked with me so great to come in so close to the date and getting fitted as well as figuring out LAST MINUTE finding a new bridesmaid dress and altering it like 3 days before the wedding!! Such an amazing group of ladies at this place and I am so thankful for everything they provided for us. Would highly recommend this beautiful shop!

Fantastic experience, I cant say enough good things about this place!! I had 2 weeks before my wedding, and the ladies at Sweet Illusion did everything to make my day perfect!First, Victoria moved up my appointment time to allow me to come in earlier, and worked hard to find a dress in my size and price range, I never felt pressured to buy anything I couldnt afford. I never felt hurried or embarrassed to be dress shopping at the last minute, which unfortunately I had experienced at other wedding dress shops.Victoria was also excellent at listening to what type of dress I had in mind, and helped me find the perfect dress that fit my vision, plus was on sale!It needed small alterations, and Patty was able to get the alternations done perfectly in a few days!!Beautiful store, friendly people, gorgeous dresses!!!

Their big dressing rooms and great lighting made it easier to pick the perfect dress! We used these guys for our wedding and they were great! Very professional and knowledgeable! The store was upscale and had lots of variety. The setup was awesome too. Sweet illusions has tons of variety of dresses to choose from, I had difficulty choosing a dress because I fell in love with so many. They worked with my schedule traveling from out of town to get alterations complete!

After going to 2 other places to try on dresses in Wichita and having.. “less than wonderful” experiences, Sweet Illusion was a breath of fresh air! They were awesome to work with, and the dress experience was much more intimate than some of the other places. I tried on 30 dresses that day and I loved one... that’s it. Also, the alterations cost was just as affordable as taking it somewhere else, and I trusted them with my dress since that’s where I came from. Definitely check them out ❤️

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience finding a beautiful gown for my daughter’s wedding. Our sales person was not pushy, let my daughter try on at her own pace and was knowledgeable about the gowns and styles. One reason we chose this place was that people complained on here about “having to” wear masks. We took this to mean that Sweet Illusions cares about its customers and it’s employees and we were happy to know that my daughter could look and try on in safety. Their rules are easy and made to give the customer the best experience and they did exactly that. I would highly recommend this place and am excited for my daughter to wear this beautiful gown on her wedding day.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The owner of this establishment is beyond rude and unprofessional. After a mask issue yesterday she called and asked me to come get my dress and agree to wear a mask in her building, after agreeing to comply she then decided that I should be emailed my invoice for alterations and pick up curbside without trying on my dress. I am getting married in 2 weeks and she is refusing to give me my dress and thinks this is a timely manner for a bride to receive her dress. Patty is rude, confrontational and very obviously lacks customer service and is less than ready to accommodate brides in these times. I will spread the word of this awful business and professionalism. If you cannot handle difficult customers with professionalism then dont be a business owner.

I had THE MOST AMAZING experience at Sweet Illusion Bridal & Tux! My consultant was very honest and upfront with the whole process! My appointment was an hour long and she spent every second completely focused on helping find my dream dress (which I DID)! I got to look through every dress they have and pick the ones I wanted to try on! I’ve been to every bridal store in Wichita (I’m picky) and nobody matched the costumer service I got at Sweet Illusion! I will hands down let everyone know this THE PLACE to go!

The first dress Patty picked out for me to try on was the one I fell in love with. I tried others on but I originally described my dream wedding dress and described the fit I wanted all down to the material. Patty nailed it and shes super knowledgeable with designers and giving the best customer service!

Top Notch!! Went to several dress shops in town before I mer Pattie and her team. She saw my vision, made it come to life and even saved me a few dollars. Highly recommend this is the special shop I needed on my special day!!

I was scrolling through the reviews and noticed a bad review about the customer service and I just don’t believe that is true! I was going to do a walk-in appointment but decided to call to see if I could to which I was informed they are by appointment only but they could fit me in the same day just a little later in the day! I called some other bridal stores and they were the exact same way and Dress Gallery told me that if I wanted to schedule an appointment on a Saturday that my budget would have to be $1200 or higher which is ridiculous!! Sweet Illusion is the best place in town with the best prices and both of the girls there were super sweet!

So so helpful, not pushy, and with great prices. I Was shopping for my wedding dress and love the one I found. I am so excited to keep working with them when it comes time for alterations. 1 and done kind of store. Won’t need to go anywhere else 😍When making bridal appointments, make sure and make one here.ps. Thankful they require masks so we were able to come shop there. Being a healthcare provider I appreciate them keeping it safe and following guidelines.

I had a dress fitting schedule for July 18th @ 130. Of course, this is during the mandated use of masks in public spaces. However, I explained to them I had medical reasons to not wear one. Then they had the audacity to ask me for a doctors note, which is totally against the law! I was baffled! Not to mention, not one person on the 3 different phone calls made to the establishment did they EVER tell me that they wont serve you workout a mask! And the last thing you do to a person whose been held hostage and muzzled in the process, is to ask for a doctors note! They have been reported to the Dept of Justice.

I drove 4 hours to come to the place with very high hopes- which were completely achieved! The ladies were very kind when we first got there! They explained how the racks were arranged & explained the process! They allowed me more dresses in the room than any other place! My stylist, Hayley, was amazing! She asked me if I wanted to do the “getting into the dress” on my own or if I wanted assistance. She was very personable & made me feel very comfortable. She was very informative & straightforward about details, pricing & ordering info we asked about! Although I didn’t purchase my dress here (because I’m from out of state), I would definitely go back there & recommend this place to others! :)

I definitely wish I would have gone to this store first while prom shopping! They have a wide variety of styles while still keeping the prices low and budget-friendly, both with formal dresses and wedding dresses. Most rude employees I have ever seen. The store had no customers and 3 women working and yet would not give us a few minutes. We were told we had to make an appointment. We explained that we only wanted to look a few minutes since we were here and we could make an appointment and come back. We were told no bridal shops let you shop without an appointment. We explained that we had already been to several without an appointment. They acted like they were superior to us. Talked down to us. I will tell everyone how horrible these people are. We left. Went to another bridal shop where some customers there also said they had heard they were terrible and had no plans to go there. The next day we walked in Dress Gallery and actually bought a wedding dress without an appointment. Worst CUSTOMER service I have ever seen. The problem is it will never change because they dont get it. Ignorant as to how to speak to people.

I was introduced to this gem by a friend last year. It was my daughter’s first homecoming and we had struggled to find that perfect dress she wanted. When we walked into the boutique we were immediately greeted with such enthusiasm to help us. My daughter described what she wanted and they provided it all with the first dress handed to her. So many beautiful dresses in there no way could she have stopped at one, so she had some fun and tried on other pieces “Just in case”. It was THEE best dress experience I could have had with my daughter. (Tears were shed) Patty and her girls made it so memorable so I couldn’t just stop at ONE visit. We go in for everyday wear, and have had 2 more homecomings with the same experience, nothing short of AMAZING. I referred my struggling soon to be bride best friend to just run with me and look at dresses for the picky bridesmaids. We walked in and 30 minutes later had dresses for all the bridesmaids with such different taste and they loved them! I recently went in for an adult prom dress coming up soon, Patty knew what would look beautiful on me and knew exactly what to pull. I fell in love with the first dress handed to me just as my daughter did. This shop without a doubt fully acknowledges and considers every customers wants, needs, and total over all vision and NAILS it every time. Alterations have been beyond expectations and done quickly. Our experiences will continue to be with Patty and her girls for years to come. More homecomings, Proms, and a wedding! I was so excited when I came in today with my mother to look for dresses for a wedding; store was busy, so we started looking around ourselves. About 20 minutes into our search, which was becoming very productive, we literally had the dresses taken out of our hands and told to leave. We were told we had to have an appointment scheduled to come in and look with a bridal consultation, and we were not allowed to look on our own. I had bought my daughters prom dress at this store last year, and was really ready to buy here again. This was the only day the store was open that I was off work. I looked this store up on Facebook and on google before we went - I didnt see where it ever said we had to have an appointment...also, why have a come on in sign at your entrance if people are not allowed to come in and look?! Very disappointed, guess we will be shopping elsewhere from now on.
