Staff knowledgeable about their products andmake good recommendations. They help me carry purchases to the car, which is a great help. Pleasant demeanor and good prices.

I’ve been coming into the store since I moved into my home nine years ago across the street. All summer long I’ve been able to come in and out of the store without a mask. Today I walked in and the girl behind the counter was beyond rude once I stepped up to the counter with my purchases. When I walked in no one said a word, as I shopped no one said a word, but when I went to check out they told me I had to put a mask on in order to serve me. They did not ask if I had a medical condition. Worst customer service ever!

The only thing I dont like about this place is its location. Its hard to get in and out the parking lot sometimes. But the staff is cool.

Amazing help! Staff went above and beyond to help me. I wasnt able to locate what I was looking for. Unfortunately it wasnt available at that location, but the staff called around to different locations to make sure I was able to get what I was looking for without driving all over town to get it. Thanks for the extra effort.

They’re not enforcing the mask mandate. One employee incorrectly stated masks weren’t required in public. Another said as long as you’re six feet apart youre not required to wear a mask. I noted the cashier was closer to me than six feet to which he replied I could take a step back. I did and won’t be coming back. Customer service has been declining here for years and now they’re being typical stupid midwesterners who piss and moan about wearing a piece of cloth.

Guys here are always awesome and willing to help. If you dont see what youre looking for, just ask and they may have it in back or can order it in. Always have a good selection of beers and wine as well as great specials on liquor. Very friendly staff that takes the time to get to know their customers and genuinely help with care.

Personal Service is great. I am handicapped now and during the Covid19 Worldwide Pandemic we can appreciate this type of compassion.

Came in last night (3/11/20) and purchased a bottle of Knob Creek 12, I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was, the woman that helped me (sadly, I didnt catch her name) was very pleasant and friendly, this can be all too rare anymore so it was quite refreshing to have this experience. I am by no means a regular but I will absolutely be making my way back in there very soon and very often for some more bourbon. Thank yall!!

Extremely overpriced. The Walgreens half a mile north on Woodlawn sells the same beer for much less. A 12 pack of Miller/Bud/Coors cost $13 at ABC but $10 at Walgreens. Same ABC and everything, not the old 3.2% excuse. Ive always been told to avoid them because of their prices but I had no idea they were this marked up. If youre reading this and dont want to pay premium prices for the same alcohol you can get anywhere else in Wichita then avoid them.

Small place, narrow isles, mediocre customer service I shopped there anyway for many years since I live across the street. Last week the female cashier was so rude I had to cancel my purchase, leave, and will NEVER comeback. I’d rather drive to central and oliver and get decent customer service.

This is one of several ABC locations in the Wichita area. Customer service is rare in this modern era, but ABC on E. Central is reminiscent of the glory ages of outstanding service. If you need to buy a nice cordial, decent bottle of wine or an elite liquor, the knowledgeable staff can help you define the nuances of taste for your selection. Great service needs to be recognized and rewarded. I reward ABC Discount Wine & Liquor with my loyal patronage.

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. The place is a bit small and thats why there is limited room to move about, but if your looking for something feel free to ask the staff. Great mix of options for the limited space.

I rushed over to this liquor store to grab a bottle of wine. It was 10:55. There were 3 other cars there, all wanting to purchase alcohol. When I got to the door and it was locked, I pointed to the time on the door and said, its not 11 and an employee said something I couldnt understand and motioned something. And I put my hand to my ear to indicate I couldnt hear him as he was across the store. He then proceeded to yell its not 11 but the door is f***ing locked or something along those lines. This is my go to liquor store, as its the closest to my house. However, I will NEVER go here again. I will also recommend to all my friends and family in the neighborhood to avoid this location. The blantent disrespect for regular customers is unacceptable. If youre not going to keep your store open to the hours written on the door, at least have an explanation better than the door is f***ing locked. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.
