Decent wine and beer selection but not a ton of local options

This is my most frequented liquor store. The staff is very nice and they have a pretty good selection of beer. I can always find something that I like. Theyve got a pretty large selection of wines and a good selection of hard liquors as well.

Great prices and friendly service

We have been doing business with Jeff and his staff for several years. Best customer service around. His staff all know the products and if they dont they will find answers. We drive 2 hours to buy our spirits. Each visit Jeff shares his latest findings on bourbon or vodka or the latest beers. You cant go wrong at Central Wine and Spirits.

I had shopped here from time to time to get a few bottles and always found what I was looking for at a good price. When I went in recently to stock up, i noticed that they didnt carry one of my favorite bottles but when I asked about it they told me they would add it to their next delivery order and sure enough they had it on their shelf for me in the next 2 days! That is awesome customer service in my book!! I have made Central Wine & Spirits my go-to store now.

OK, Central is not a warehouse, but they have a nice selection of unusual beers and wines. I was looking for Dogfish Head and they had several different flavors. The employees are very helpful.

They have a HUGE selection, a great layout and if you can’t find what you want or you need a suggestion the staff is right there to help you out! I was trying to look out for my Dad! He bought something from you and gave it to me as a gift! I didnt want it and when I addressed this you didnt like the fact that you were going to have to take it back! Im not sketchy at all I was very clear what I wanted done you on the other hand were on the rude side I can tell by the way your employees acted when I asked to speak to you that its not a happy place! Dont try to spin this to make it look like you were looking out for my Dad! You were worried about your own pocket! You could have just left it to the one star rating but you wanted to comment so this is my response.

Great, knowledgeable staff. I can while away many a minute talking bourbon with these guys. Their selection of high quality, harder to find whiskeys is the best in Wichita, in my opinion. They are small but mighty.

Five stars all day any day and every day the employees here are so wonderful when it comes to helping me find what I need theyre always trying to find ways to make the inside more nice and modern they really take care of that place prices are great and if you can catch the owner while youre in there hes a real fun person to talk to really a great guy and he cares truly about everybody that walks in that door. Theres three liquor stores within less than a mile of where I live and I still and always will choose Central wine and spirits because of the people and professionalism make for a great experience. Also if you havent been in recently theyre doing a crazy cool Remodel and its going to look so cool I cant believe it myself go check them out

I had completely forgotten about this place as I use to live in the Westlink area. I still shop at the Dillons by the same intersection at Central and Maize. And they are remodeling so it will have an even nicer selection. People are indeed nice and helpful in regards to any questions you have. And I found a couple of really good deals on two bottles of wine! And the beer I went in for just happened to be on sale too! Doesnt get any better than that! Check it out!!!Edit: April 1, 2019. Just stopped for a 6 pack but they have sales going on items like wine, beer, bourbon, etc. The cheapest prices I have seen anywhere. Much cheaper than the so called Discount Stores which have been raising their prices on everything. A $10.99 bottle of wine for $5.99. A German beer that is close to $17 only $12.99 (everyday price), and an awesome blended bourbon normally $45.99 was only $39.99. I saved $15 on 3 items I normally buy. Impressive!!!

Not the largest liquor store on the westside but is in a strategic location for people that live in Westlink. Their beer and wine is a little bit higher than say ABC or another larger store but I still recommend.
