I called Colleen on a recommendation from my brother Brandon Whipple. I was only in town for a week and needed to get my sons brakes looked at and his air conditioner wasnt working. We brought the car in on a Thursday and left it while the whole family went out of town. Colleen and crew had the car done in one day! She went the extra mile to double check the ac the day we picked it up to make sure it was still working and left instructions should it stop working again. When picking it up that Monday, my mom and I had a great conversation with her! She was so sweet and easy to talk to. Price was decent, service was quick and exactly what we asked to be done. During the brake check, she found two rotors needing replacement as well. I will continue to use her for my sons car care all the way from NH :). Thanks Colleen! See you again!

Well first I had engine mounts replaced, then the lifts for my hatch and then had them check my battery. Very reasonable prices every time, Colleen is very kind and respectable and they get the job done. I keep going back every time something comes up with my cruser for a reason.

Drained oil told me timming chain was going out. Trade care in. I filled it with oil and its been fine. They charged me $154. To tell me that!!!

The owner acts like she likes to kick a person she see down every chance she gets but the mechanic (her son) hes a good guy, skilled mechanic with a good heart heart.Update: They played me for a fool. The only thing that was done was a 30a fuse put in place where a 15a fuse is required. Any mechanic with common since enough to turn a wrench should know thats not a fix.

Coleen is awesome. Works with you. Listens to you. Is honest with you. I was quoted $5000 repair at another shop on my Acura. $800 later car was fixed correctly at Seneca Car Care. I even trust them with my antique car as well.

Coleen and her Techs run the best shop in Wichita. Not only did I get my problem fixed but the cost was much below what I was expecting. Honesty, Integrity Knowledge. The only down side is not finding this shop sooner.

We only take our truck to Collen and the guys, they fix the problem and reasonably! We had a different business tell us they couldnt find the water leak and they found it and changed the water pump. They told us there was water in the front and rear deferential and it was going to cost us hundreds of dollars and there was nothing wrong with them!! There are just a couple of reasons why we go to South Seneca car care! Honest family people that do good work!!

It was all pleasant enough. Except for the fact that it hasn’t even been a month and for some reason my oil is loooooooow. Like barely on the dipstick type low. I would think if there was a leak or something someone would have noticed that when changing it but I could be wrong 🤷🏾‍♂️

Where I work, we take all of our vehicles to this place they are excellent and do excellent work for excellent prices.

This is a very quaint spot. However very pricey and I wasnt really aware of what they were going to charge me until it was said and done and time to pay. So blind sided I paid about 2 1/2 times what I would have paid somewhere anywhere else.

This is the best auto repair shop in Wichita! The owner saved me thousands of dollars! I had another shop quote me $3000 in unneeded repairs and Colleen fixed it for under $400. I trust her and her techs! I will never go anywhere else!

I own a used car dealership and service center in Chicago so I know alot about this industry and the way it operates (which is not always the best). I had a customer car break down in Wichita and thus ran into South Seneca car care. The owner, Coleen, was competent, friendly and very reasonable with price. She even suggested a lower cost way to fix the car than putting a new part on (which means if you have an older car that you want to really drive into the ground, she can help you do so in a manner that doesnt cost you an arm and a leg). Based on my interaction I would highly recommend her shop for your automotive needs!

One of the most honest places in town! There service is next level. They will go above and beyond what they need to do to help you. Colleen is a sweetheart but also tell you how it is. She will give you the right price and it’s probably the lowest you’ll find. They don’t try to rob or cheat you like most places in town (we won’t name them lol). Their mechanics are top notch and know what they are talking about. Brought in my ford, they looked it over with no problem and told me what it was. I took it to another garage beforehand and they lied about what part was broken and south Sencea made it right and saved me thousands of dollars! I would highly recommend this garage to anyone that wants their car done right. Thank you for the friendly/timely service. I will be bringing my cars back here for sure!!!

The door lock on my car stop working. I was told that I needed a new door lock actuator. They put an aftermarket door lock actuator on my car but billed me for an OEM part. WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!

I have been taking my cars to them for several years now and they are simply the best. They are incredibly honest and never talk down to me which is important to me being a woman that has experienced that in other auto shops. There estimates are always right on and their customer service is spot on. They never pressure me into repairs that are not needed and always make sure I understand everything. I would never go anywhere else. Coleen is the best!

Theyre friendly and take the time to understand whats wrong with my car. I have an older vehicle and they give me an honest opinion about what repairs are necessary, which ones can wait, and which ones might not need to be done at all. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else.

I dont typically give bad reviews, but this transaction was probably the most frustrating one Ive encountered. Service was excellent. The woman working the counter is a sweetheart and the gentleman himself that runs this business is very kind. My issue lies solely on the work I had done. I had them build an exhaust for me, and drew out specifically how I wanted it routed under the vehicle. Rather than give me what I asked for, they gave me an exhaust completely different without consulting me on any of the changes. They had the car far longer than was initially discussed and on top of that, the quality of work was garbage. I can hardly weld, but could have made myself a better exhaust. They also only used 2 of the 4 available exhaust hangers, and the exhaust actually fell off the hangers and dragged under my car MULTIPLE TIMES PER TRIP as I was going down the road. If it rained? Fell off every 7 or 8 blocks or so. I moved shortly after, or else I wouldve taken it right back to them for a refund or better fabrication.

Took our car for a week, charged us $300, and didn’t fix the issue and refused a refund. NO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS

Had an emergency brake repair. Got me in and out fast. Friendly as well.

Coleen and her team do an amazing job. Had my car dropped off on a Sunday afternoon when the radiator blew out. They had me back on the road by 4PM the very next day at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

I love this place! They are honest and efficient. And, as much as Ive been there, lol, its almost like family. And, the owner, Colleen, always explains and shows me whats wrong and why something needs fixed. AND, if it is something that can wait, she always tells me that also.

When I arrived I asked them to check for an oil leak due to smelling burnt oil. They found oil leaking all over the motor and as a bonus coolant leaking to. Thank the lord for the warranty. I definitely recommend SSCC. Not 2013 Ford F150 though.

On my way to work had car trouble. 1:45pm. Cld SSCC, they sent a tow truck, got me right in, fixed my pulley thing, and I was at work, 21 & Maize by 4:45pm. Pretty fast i thought. Reasonable price. Very nice staff, owner.

Great place to service your vehicle, they save you tons of money

We recently Purchased a new used car as well as a warranty for it. Immediately noticed that it had an exhaust leak as well as a few other minor problems that werent that big of a deal. The warranty company (GCW) had SSCC as one of their reputable repair shops. When we took it in, Coleen was very hospitable.We took it in friday morning, they called the warranty company, and the warranty company told SSCC that if the manifold was damaged, they would cover it, but if it was just a gasket, that they would not cover it, despite my coverage explicitly stating that: Intake manifold gaskets ARE covered.Mitch called me and explained the situation and got my permission to proceed, he also expressed concerns about other things that were wrong with the vehicle but did not pressure me into having anything else done and gave me quotes for them for if and when I did decide to get the issues rectified.At about 4:45 P.m. Mitch called me to let me know that my vehicle was done and that he was able to do it for less than originally quoted (which is always a nice surprise). When we picked the car up, it was a night and day difference from when we dropped it off. The car ran and sounded great.So while my warranty is essentially a waste of money, the silver lining is the recommendation to South Seneca Car Care, otherwise I probably would have never found them. I have trust issues when it comes to mechanics and I honestly dont have the time or the energy to fight with them about what needs to be done with my car, nor do I like surprise charges. I didnt have that experience with SSCC at all.Over all, my experience with South Seneca Car Care was frustration and pressure free and quite possibly one of the smoothest experiences that ive ever had when it came to getting my car worked on at a shop.I highly recommend South Seneca Car Care and I will be bringing my vehicles here from now on.
