I didn’t have time to make an appointment so I had to call in 5min before I arrived. But John was super friendly and helpful! Only took about 20min for tire rotation & oil change. Great service, great price! I’ll definitely return for more service.

I had something lodged in my back rear tire and since I live in downtown Chicago and only was in the area for work I needed a quick solution in order to drive back the 30 miles. Not knowing what to do I called the first auto shop and thankfully chose the right one. John picked up after I called and said to drive over and they’d be able to fix it no problem. I was able to check in right away and they began to work on it ASAP. Not only did they patch my tire they assessed my other tires which I really appreciated. I 100% recommend coming to this location as they work in a timely manner and are professional from start to finish.

Hands down this is the best shop if you want your car taken care of. Jon took took good care of me by setting me up with a wheel and tire package. This shop is a must to go place if you want great service for your car’s needs.

Absolutely the best car shop in the area!! I was a former Auto X Wheeling customer but now that management and employees all have changed that place is not so great. This place is hands down the best car shop. From customer service, honesty, respect and their actual work! They get it done on a reasonable time. They are HONEST which you don’t get anymore. Came in for an oil change. Was told 30-45 min. Took 1hr 20 min…for an oil change.Was originally ‘done’ in 50 min. Paid for the service and went to get my car, and it wasn’t outside. Went back in and was told there was a problem and they would need a few more minutes. A few was another 30 min…so just assuming they didn’t do it right in the first place. If they can’t handle a basic oil change, would question any other work they do.

When went to midas john and the guys in the shop helped us with our car oil and found our grinding sound. we had low front brakes and they ordered parts and got them done same day! Super fast I definitely would recommend them!

Went in for an oil change for my Honda Accord and boy oh boy, they screwed up this simple job. I had 2 - 5 quarts engine oil bottles in my trunk and asked the service center to use that for the oil change. They took in the car and poured the entire 10 quarts into the engine🤬. For reference Honda Accord 4 cylinder takes in about 4.2 quarts, so they poured more than double the capacity. When I took the car after delivery, I did smell some engine oil burning but thought they might have spilled some oil by mistake and that it would burn off eventually. Little did I know that the spill was due to overfilling the engine oil. In hindsight I should have checked my trunk for the remaining 5 quart bottle, I guess I placed too much trust in their workmanship. The next day I was driving to Cleveland and the car stopped on the interstate 😡. There was no check engine light or visible leaks from the engine. My next logical step was to check the engine oil level after the engine cooled down and I was shocked that the oil level was almost upto the half length of the dipstick. Luckily the car started back up and was able to continue my journey and went to a Midas service center and drained the entire oil and filled up 4.5 quarts. Im beyond dumbfounded on how a chain like Midas would allow a neanderthal without any basic mechanical knowledge service a customers car. I strongly recommend people reading this review to stay away from this service center and save your car and money.

Dont come here jhon is a lier and Jesus is a bad mechanic he doesnt know what hes doing I took my truck for a transmission swap and it took 3 months to get it back well after a couple days of driving Im getting a check engine light related to the power train system and I also noticed they deplated the laredo name from the back of the truck why would they do that? These people are liers and if you have to go to a mechanic go to a smaller shop midas doesnt care about you or your car they just want your money.

Came in here today due to my brakes making a grindy metal to metal sound. They showed me specifically what needed to be done, told me the price, and how long it would be. Got it done and I was on my way. Manager was very patient and informative. Thank you.

This was my first time at Midas and what a great experience! not only did they take me in as a walk in but were very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. I had some bad mufflers on my 02 Mustang GT and I stopped in to install my Borla exhaust and to repair a broken flange and John and Jesus took great care of my vehicle and did some custom work to get my exhaust to work! I definitely recommend this place and their services!! I think the other techs name was Terry but Im not sure but he for sure answered all my questions and was knowledgeable. Great Techs and great customer service! I will come here again with future repairs! Your bosses should be proud and thankful to have hired great guys that give midas a trustable reputation!! 10/10

You know a good mechanic is hard to find. I only had one problem, the day I went it was hot as hell and their air-conditioned couldve been working alittle bit better but besides that I have no problems.

I feel that I was ripped off. They added services that I did not go in for. Went in for brakes and a oil change was quoted around $250. With my own parts. While my xar was being worked on they said I need a new break caliper and total went up to $330 which we had to agree. Picked up today and total was $500. They decided to go ahead and charge me labor for tightening belts as well as replacing air filters that I did not ask them to do. Overall I was very disappointed. This is an older car which I was not looking to dump a lot of money into. I can also do my own air filter exchanges and did not need them to do it.

Finally we have Midas in the area. I took my Lexus rx350 they did the strut for both front wheels excellent customer service Wally and the crew were very professional, definitely this place is recommended.

Ive had my car service two times here and I simply LOVE IT. I had gotten an estimate from a different shop before and they were trying to charge me double the price that I paid here at Midas.Plus the staff is real nice. Especially Bob, I think his the Manager. I admit I know nothing about cars, but when I came to pick up my car, Bob explained with detail what was going on with it.I will totally recommend this place :)

I have several vehicles, and they have done a great job on all of them. They feel a bit like family. You know, the good parts of your family.

Honest place with very good people, have saved $$$ 2 separate times going there. I will go back again. The techs there show you exactly what is wrong and explain all details and dont overcharge on their work.

Korba Auto Center has been maintaining our automobiles for several years. Contrary to others, my experience has been excellent. Wojtek and his staff are skilled. They get the job done within a reasonable time, are polite to us and charge a fair price.

Terrible service by one of the employees, called to schedule a time to drop off my car and he told me the boss was not in call back in 20 minutes.. called back same issue told me to call back in another 15.. ok no big deal.. then I call for a third time and he goes “oh my boss is on lunch he won’t be back till another hour”.. why lie? Just tell me he’s not in take down my number and call me back when he’s in, don’t have me calling for no reason.. the guy on the phone even ended up going “huh?!” When I told asked him why he lied to me and promptly hung up the phone.. save your time go somewhere else

They fix my moms car fast but when I asked about the price for parts and labor it was way different from what I had to pay at the end. They blame this on miscommunication I end up paying around $200 more from the original agreement. I think its not fair since the job was done already and I had no choice but paying for it at the end. MAKE SURE your price is final when you getting estimate.

I came for a brake replacement, and to fix the ABS light. They replaced the rear brakes but didnt fix the light issue. I came back and they said I needed a new bearing, on same brakes they had taken apart the day before! Im not coming back to this location. RIP off tactics!

I will surely stay away from this store.I had them to check my brake which made noise. The pad was replaced 1 year before this check. They said the caliper need to be replaced. I ask if they can fix instead of replacement, but they said no. (I learned later that lubricate the stuck caliper is a very easy process). This made me pay $250 for each side of the front wheel, total $500!This is NOT the end of the nightmare. less than one year later, in Dec. 2014, during a cold night. I smell a burned odor from metal in garage after my wife drove home. I touch the wheel at driver side, it is burning hot! (I can feel the hot when my fingers get close to the wheel). At the passenger side, the wheel is simply cold. I took the wheel off, found the brake has been stuck on the wheel. I learned later that it is very likely due to air bubble in the brake line. And it has been proved when I bleed the brake line.While, I was wondering how can this brake system fail so fast (Midas at wheeling only provide 60 days warranty) but enough to pass the warranty date, in other words, how the air get into the brake line only after 12 month??I noticed an apparent problem in the brake line, the cap to the bleed hold is a rubber cap, but got several cracks on it. I dont believe a new rubber cap should break down that fast, also it is only at one side!So either the shop didnt replace the cap at all at the original work, or worse, made cracks on purpose. The result is clear, the air slowly get into the system, not a problem in the first several month, since the leak is very slow, not a problem in summer, since the temperature is hot outside. But after 12 month, when winter came, the enough air bubble, plus outside temperature together made the problem started to show, and show in a very bad way, cooking the brake system.I bough bleeding tool, and bleed the system, also fix the rubber cap. It has been 2 months now, the brake system works perfect. After long ride, touching the wheeling, it is still cold.This is to reply Midass response to my post.Hi, Midas, as said, I will stay away from you.Keep in mind, my caliper was a little stuck (on one side), making scratch noise, but the brake pad was largely good. Instead of lubricating the caliper at sliding bolt (This is the mostly likely problem with it, you know it! And it should not cost more than $30), you charged me $250 to replace it, and both sides! totaling $500! (your tech told me that it has to be replaced both sides). And within one year, the brake got locked when got heat on one side(detail above). Now you are talking about sending my car in for another check? No way! You are off from my service list forever.
