My experience at this store was excellent! Mayra was so knowledgeable and helped me so much. She was able to install my battery in my truck which wasnt even under the hood! She knew where to find it and replaced it in less then 5 minutes. She saved me so much time and money. I really appreciate her help and fantastic customer service. These guys are phenomenal! Luis and Dean are absolute lifesavers! I know it’s cheesy to proclaim that, but they are so helpful and kind. I’m currently moving right now, staying at a hotel, and using my car every day to move stuff from storage. The other day I went out to start my car, and no dice. I ended up getting the battery jumped, and called it a day. At around 4:30pm today (very busy) I came in to see if someone could run diagnostics, help me replace a headlight (the wiring was damaged), and perhaps help me purchase a new battery. I spoke with Luis first and he was SO kind. Right away, he took care of what I needed (part wise and etc) and jumped right into action to take a look at my car. He helped me to figure out the correct part, and when taking a look at my car, confirmed that it was indeed a wiring issue, saving me the money of buying a new bulb. Dean was fantastic! He came out to help me run diagnostics and tried really hard to help me tape my bulb in place. They made me feel like I was just hanging out at my friend’s house and they were helping me with my car. It was so nice. I ended up getting everything squared away and it’s all thanks to the guys at AutoZone, particularly Luis & Dean. They made me feel more comfortable with my car and my abilities and I’m so grateful for these gentlemen!

Went in for a dead battery and Kristin was absolutely wonderful, from testing the battery to make sure it was the actual problem, not once but multiple times, and then installing the battery for me within 2 minutes. Will continue to come here for any auto issue I have. These guys are the best!

Very helpful, and knowledgeable, got there with a starting issue, he came out and performed a battery check, turned out to be low, so I left it so they can recharge it and then rechecked the battery, it was bad. Also, wasnt sure of what size bolt I needed for a ground wire, he picked it out with no problem.I didnt get his name, but he was helpful.Thanks man ✌
If you need to replace a simple front light bulb, dont go there. The young workers don’t help. Go to Northbrook Advance Auto Parts, they will help you replace the bulb.
Orlando and Jose provided excellent customer service during my headlight bulb exchange. Both new bulbs burned out prematurely and they swiftly corrected the issue. Stop in at this location for all your automotive needs!!
Was truly satisfied how although the guy that answered my call was unsure, he promptly checked, and found that he did have my item in stock.The staff here is a bit of a higher turn over though, which is kinda disappointing, but the website tends to indicate appropriately what they do have in stock.I LOVE the tool rental program!

Truly fabulous customer service. The sales clerk explained the difference between the types of windshield wipers and the types of washer fluid. He installed the new wipers for me, and he showed me where the various fluids go. I knew I was low on washer fluid and power steering fluid, but he pointed out that my radiator fluid was also low so I bought some of that too. Huge help. Also, I am bilingual and I love that everything is in both Spanish and English, including the signs within the store.
I had multiple bulbs fail in my 2008 Minivan. I went this morning in search of bulbs, but I got so much more, I got help! I got a terrific guy named Orlando who was so kind, and so helpful, answered my questions, helped me figure out how to put them in, and how to test that they worked, I was so happy I went there, and so relieved that I didnt get mocked for not knowing. Thank you Orlando, youre the best!
Great place for anything to do with your 4 wheel chariot. This time I had to get my SUV battery changed. The fellas at the store explained the pro-cons of various options and then quickly fitted the new one in. Thank you guys.
Very happy with my visit to Wheeling AutoZone. Needed a new headlight bulb. The young man who helped me was polite, friendly, fast and efficient and even installed it for me at no charge (wow!). I will definitely be returning to this store for future automotive needs. Well done!
Loved the service! I lived in the city without a car for 15 years so now that I’m a suburbanite I’m learning all of the things. Not only did they offer to put the windshield wipers on my car, I got a tutorial so I can do it on my own next time. Thanks guys!

Im very disappointed at the service I received in this location. To start, I had to ask for help since there was no one at the counter when I walked in the store, I actually had to ask loudly Can someone help me? So finally this guy in grey button up shirt came out of his office, I think his name is Dave? So I bought a pair of headlights and a car battery that needed to be installed in my 2002 Honda civic. The counter guy that was helping me at that moment, Dave, said that he wasnt going to be able to install my battery because its too difficult. So I decided to Return everything and go to the other Auto Parts down the street. Advance Auto Parts. They sold me a battery and headlights. The counter guy installed my battery in literally 8 mins or less, I explained my bad experience with AutoZone and he also installed my headlights.He was very nice and friendly. I also received $20 dollars coupon sent to my email for my next purchase at Advance Auto Parts. Their reward program is called SpeedPerks! Also you dont need to carry a key chain; all you need is your phone number.Go to Advance Auto Parts, Dont waste your time going to AutoZone.I will never go back to AutoZone.Ps. They usually dont Install light bulbs. Its not a free service they offer, but the store manager was there and she gave him the approval to go ahead and install my headlights. She was very nice.

Lady at the counter was very rude and unfriendly while i was purchasing a Battery. Then she started to scream at the coworkers saying to remove the cart which she stumbles upon, yelling (and i Quote) Remove it for the pregnant Woman if you know what i mean, remove it now, i said now, you not hearing me, I SAID NOW I had to wait for 40 minutes outside in the 87F heat, All because the guy with a long hair forgot that requested to install the $177 battery that i purchased and i went back inside to ask why he not coming and after ignoring me for 5 minutes he decided finally to go outside to do his Job. But that not all, while replacing a battery, he broke my car causing it to shut down unless the gas pedal is pressed down continuously to keep the RPM going ower 0 when its should stay at least 600-850 rpm on its own while ideling. (I Assume he must have shorted some electronics in the car) Then they refused to own up to it, leaving me stranded in theirs parking lot with a broken Car. I had to call the police who were absolutely no help on the matter and the Store Manager Orlando told me several times that i should be grateful that he is outside with me trying to get my car started with his mechanic after i called the police on them when they refused to do anything about it and he tried to tell me that its was like that when i came in, while every 10 minutes trying to come up with a new possibilty off how its must be MY fault and totally ignoring the fact that i came in this car from my home to their parking lot and it takes a running car to do so, also the guy have tested the old battery before installing a new one and have seen me starting the car with no problem and its kept running. Then i asked to put my old battery back in but even then the car stayed broken. It took me 5 hours to get my car out of there. Cost me $250 for the towing and more to come when my mechanic will tell me what they broke and how much more money i have to spend to fix theirs mistake. It was supposed to be a simple battery replacement. I Will Never deal with them again as long as i live. Extremely BAD SERVICE. Very Disappointed.

The manager Orlando has the best customer service skills that Ive encountered in a long time. I wish more people in customer service were like him. He helped me pick out what I needed. Was very knowledgeable and he even put the wiper blades on for me. He is the reason I will be going back for all of my automotive needs.
The one on Dundee Road in Wheeling Illinois is awesome. They didnt have the oil and filter type to my motorcycle and now they carry it in stock. They helped changed the windshield wipers off my car. Customer service has always been stellar at that location. Hope it stays that way.

If I could give NO stars, I would!! This is literally the worst Auto Zone in the country! If not the world. I went in today to get headlight bulbs for my Subaru, and not only did they sell me the wrong bulbs which now I cant return them, but they told me that the bulbs that I had originally brought to the counter, were the wrong bulbs. So he looked it up on the computer, and sold me the wrong bulbs. The ones I had originally were correct. There were 5 guys working, yet only 1 was actually doing anything. Bad news for him, he did his job poorly. The other 4 were standing around talking about partying and drinking over the weekend. There was 8 customers waiting in line, yet these lazy employees did not want to stop their conversation to DO THEIR JOBS!! If you are thinking of going to a parts store on Dundee in Wheeling, there is and Advanced Auto a block down. Please, go there and not to this place!
Great place for all of your automotive needs. And no restocking fee for returns. Will install your wiper blades if you purchase them from them check your car if check engine lite comes on and also check your alternator and battery for free to let you know if you need a new battery or time to replace your alternator. And they are always happy to help if they can.
They are letting customers in with out protective masks and after pointing that to auto zone employee I realized that even him not wearing mask properly. 😱🤧🤢
This guy refused to install my battery he said is not a mechanic. I ask for my money back and the long hair guy with glasses refused to give me my money back. I had to go to another store and in a minute had my money in my pocket. Wow, what kind of people works there.
First of all, nothing but good things to say about Orlando who knew exactly what was wrong with my tires. I called in the morning stressed out, before work because I had a flat and could not figure out how to get air in the tire. Every time I put air in, the air would come out. Orlando said he knew exactly what my car needed. It was a air valve. So at the end of the day I came in ready to buy the part. This employee bought the part for me and came to my house to do the job himself!! Very thankful. I offered to pay him but he said he was doing this because he wants his costumers to feel cared for. FYI I called Firestone before this. And the guy on the phone said that the job would take about an hour and it would cost $30.49 to change the valve. Orlando thank you and I’m so glad I called! Love this auto zone. Employees will always help you out. They will even help you change your wipers or light bulbs. Very helpful men. Will definitely be back here if I need something.
The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The location was well stocked so they most likely have what you need. It was a little chaotic when I went on the weekend during peak hours but the staff handled it well andI was in and out of the location in no time.

I got a great deal on an alternator there. I tried the Chrysler dealerships alternator the only offer 12 month warranty . Their warranty was not as good as AutoZones lifetime warranty. I would buy other parts for my car there that break because they offer excellent warranty and return policy.

Most horrible place and absolutely no respect to their customers. You have to be Hispanic person (no disrespect), in order to get good quality assistance. If youre not, just turn around and walk away towards the EXIT sign. Go somewhere else, but there. I wouldnt recommend it to my friends.

First off, I want to say how impressed I was with the amazing customer service I recieved by Decota and Francisco. Both of them helped me choose a good battery for my car as well as installing it. Decota gave me some great feedback on what type of car I should consider in getting in the future that will last me for a long time. Very honest gentlemen and this autozone in wheeling is the best one out of every single other one I have been to. I will definitely be a regular customer.

I needed headlights. I selected the wrong ones off the rack and clerk verified that those were the ones I needed. He went out to the car to take a look to make sure. After I paid for them to come out to the car and replace them for me. Very unexpected on a freezing cold Chicago afternoon.

Have tried 4 times because they are close! Never again...always understaffed.The line goes down the aisles. Then when I get to the counter I was told oh the other guy has to help you because I dont know about that. Only to be told Im already helping this guy please step aside. 2 times over an hour for a simple 1 item thing..I go down the street and pay more now! Frustrated as I can walk there in 2 minutes

First of all when I walked in some staff members were talking about one another and gossiping instead of working. There was a guy named Luis that was rude and not helpful at all. The atmosphere was very immature and rude. Had to go to another location. Will never go back to this AutoZone.

Brought in part that was needed O-rings, employee did not even try to find a set that would fit, he just said i do not even know what it is. no help. tried advance auto parts and was able to get O-rings from different product that had 100% fit for what i needed it. Auto zone Employee were not useful. I hope things will change

Went in to purchase wipers. Was 3rd in line and stayed like that for 20 minutes while the only 2 employees chatted on the phone. By the time I left, there were 9 people in line behind me and not getting shorter. When one employee got off the phone, he walked outside with the person in front of me leaving just one guy on phone to deal with over 10 customers waiting. Absolutely horrible service.

Lightbulb Manuals were torn and hanging off of the rack and the help was unable to properly check me out and get a receipt. Turned out he even gave me the wrong bulb and I had to go somewhere else for a replacement.
