We have 3 dqs closer but have good memories of this location from childhood so drove out of our way to go there. First time they were closed due to a staffing issue and second time they had no chocolate soft serve. Wont be a third try. But still have great memories.

I have been to this DQ many times and love it. Small, friendly and they go out of their way to give the kiddos what they want even if its not on menu. High Five!

This place is so cute. It is small, but they have great covid-19 safety measures and I personally think that their ice cream is so good. They have lots of choices, each one more delicious than the next.Stay safe everyone!

The chicken nuggets were disgusting! All dried up with chunks of fat in them! The pretzels were good but Im pretty sure they gave us a container of hot mayonnaise to dip them in. The blizzards were good but how can you screw that up? Never going back to this DQ!

Savoring the last warm days before fall completely descended, my husband and I drove down to our local Dairy Queen this afternoon. We had two large dipped cones which we ate in our vehicle. There was something particularly quaint and somewhat nostalgic about enjoying our cones while parked between an elderly couple in a hatchback and a young family an SUV. It was almost like we were all at a drive in movie, but the movie wasn’t actually a movie, it was ice cream. Something about being a part of that shared (yet separate) experience was kind of heart warming. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. Overall, it was nice to experience a spontaneous sense of community despite the social distancing we all currently adhere to. Thank you, Dairy Queen, for uniting us with promises of cold treats on a hot afternoon.

Cone and but burgers really saved my day at the TA truck stop. See yall on the next route in. Semper Avanti.

I love this place. The buffalo snack melts are amazing. The best part about this place though is the employee Hoai (pronounced like Y). He has to be one of the friendliest people Ive ever met, and definitely the best fast food restaurant employee Ive ever seen. The food or ice cream he makes is always perfectly on point. If hes not already a manager he should be. He does his job so well all with a smile.Also, I dont know what people are taking about with the parking. There must be a total of 20 spaces from the 3 sides you can park on.Finally, best Dairy Queen Ive ever been to.

Friendly walk up service and tasty blizzard. A few outdoor tables to sit at, drive through and to-go.

Does the job. I have had many blizzards made with vanilla not chocolate. Ive learned my lesson and check first before pulling away. Oopsy. If there is a line will drive to the next one instead of waiting. This is my closet one and dont mind a few errors every now and then.

Great place, I had a medium cone ice cream with chocolate cover. My wife hada small cup of pumpkin spice sumpton, and our little pup had a small cup of ice cream. What a fun experience! Nice friendly fella waited on us. Happy time!😁😁❤

I have been visiting this DQ for as long as I can remember. I have the most wonderful memories of getting a chili dog and ice cream with my grandpa. The location has been updated over the years but the frozen treats still bring a smile to my face. The staff is happy and friendly. There are tables to enjoy your treats outside, a walk up window or drive thru for those who want to grab and go. Cotton candy blizzards are awesome if you can snag one when its in season.

They are 80% on the ice cream we always get the same ice cream, but the other 20% they seem that they dont care or pay attention to what you order. Tonight is a perfect example of what they did to my large cone, asked for a white cone dipped in chocolate,. and I got a chocolate cone dipped with chocolate. Not happy. The 20 percent they need more employees....

Chili hot dog was cold, and the chili was terrible quality. They served me a bag of Lays Potato Chips, what?? No choice for fries or anything! It gets 2 stars because the sundae was good. Other than that, this DQ was awful. Very unhealthy as well...

This place was awful. We went through the drive thru and the woman didn’t even finish taking our order. We pulled up to the window to place the rest of our order, getting exasperated sighs and eye rolls, and proceeded to wait 20 minutes for our food. When we got our stuff, the girl gave us the wrong chips when she had just asked us not 3 minutes prior what we wanted. We paid and left. I then noticed my chips were expired by almost a week. Okay, well those went in the trash. Then I go to take a bite of my Oreo blizzard. I got a big chunk of Oreo, and when I chewed it, it tasted like I just licked a dusty bookshelf. That’s how my next few bites tasted as well. That went in the trash too! Not happy about my first (and last) experience at this location.

Location is good but Ive noticed that all the sizes are the same. The Sundaes are small no matter what size you get. Its getting expensive for sure.

Place is actually quite nice, a vital part of the quality of life in this neighborhood.So why one star? Because it closes at a preposterous early time of 9 pm, even at high summer. What do they have to do? Get up at 4 a.m. to milk the chickens? The sun is hardly even down then.Heres why its our business: if the DQ were under any kind of a threat from the city or a greedy developer, wed be out there on the street, picketing to keep them open. The least they can do here is show us, the customers, some respect.

My boyfriend witnessed the cashier pocket money that was given to him to pay for an older gentlemans ice cream. A boy ran to the window to buy the old man ice cram, apparently his family knew the man. The older man did not know this. The cashier pocketed the money and charged the old man. When confronted, the cashier pulled the 10 bill from his pocket and gave it to my boyfriend. My boyfriend ran the money to the old man and explained the confusion. When he filed a formal complaint, the owner of this location told him that he was wrong, denied that it happened and told him he was confused.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! We were charged for extra strawberries in a strawberry cheesecake blizzard, and they didn’t put strawberries in it at all. We called back to try to have it made right, and the person who answered told us that we were wrong and hung up on us. Never go here. The inside is dirty and I saw mice. Most horrible experience of my life.

I was out running errands in preparation for a birthday party and my last stop was to pick up an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. I had planned to go to the Dairy Queen at 3015 Youngfield St in Golden based on their opening time. I got to the Youngfield location shortly after they were supposed to open, and while I could see employees walking around inside, the doors were still locked. The sign on the door verified the business hours, but when the employees inside saw me at the door, they just continued to work, letting me stand there. After 15 minutes waiting outside I decided to go to the 44th Avenue location in Wheat Ridge which wasn’t scheduled to be open yet. When I arrived there, Nick promptly came to the window to let me know that even though they weren’t open yet he could take my order, but it might take a minute if I wanted soft serve ice cream. When I explained what I had just experienced at the other location, and that all I needed was an ice cream cake, he immediately got one ready for me, and even through in some additional toppings on the side.

This has to be one of the best dairy queen i have ever visited, they have the most friendliest staff and the turkey blt sandwich and blizzard that i order came out perfect and delicious...the best part was seeing the staff flip my blizzard upside down

No burgers on the menu. Didnt realize that when I ordered the bbq burger. They processed the order as normal anyway, but i ended up with half of some bbq chicken wrap thing that did not wow me at all.The soda was watered down and the strawberries and syrup on my sundae didnt taste very good. Subpar at best.The best part of that 5 dollar lunch thing was the vanilla softserve under the strawberries and the prepackaged chips. Thanks Lays. Lol.In summary it was not the DQ experience I am used to from their chain but it was okayish.
