One of the staff members, AJ went above and beyond to help me with my metal hanger for my garage remote! They didnt have the size that would fit my car mirror area so he used his tools to adjust my existing hook. It took a while to do and he was so patient and courteous. Ace is very lucky to have him!!

Saved my day. Had a glass company cut a piece of glass. Went to install it and it was 1” to big. They let me come in with the glass and used their machine to cut the 1” off to be able to have the job conpleted before the store closed.Again, saved the day! Thx so much! Will be back!

Steve (manager) was SO knowledgeable and helpful! Superior customer service. Found and replaced parts for 1955 outside water spigot which no other hardware store had. Store was super well stocked. Worker AJ helped me also. Cashier lady was friendly and efficient.

Prices on shelves dont match what comes up in register and they dont stand behind the shelf price. Staff has no idea what theyre doing.Avoid this place if you can.

Thought we needed a new water pump for our swamp cooler and got one from this store (they even had the exact one we wanted!). When We went to replace the old one it turned out the problem was something else. We called and asked if we could return the one we had just bought as it had only been used for 2 minutes. The clerk was very helpful and they gave us a full refund!

Nice and friendly store, everybody wants to help, they have almost anything to repair your home. They also have the ability to make most sizes of screens.

Amazing customer service from Kelly #2. He went above and beyond to locate a plumbing valve stem that they didnt have. He called a major plumbing wholesaler company and located the part for us we paid for at the store and went to go pick up which we didnt mind because we couldnt locate anywhere. I purchased a Weber Spirit II E 210 grill along with a cover and a pack of disposable grease trays. I requested that the grill be assembled and delivered from this location in Westminster to my home. The website was easy to use and I even found a $10 coupon.I highly recommend this ACE location! I placed my order last night (Monday 01/18/21) and the website stated the earliest delivery date was the coming Sunday. I got a call this morning saying they could drop it off assembled today! When two employees arrived about 2 hours later, they placed the grill in my backyard for me and explained the features of the grill and how to use it. They also handed me the manual and other paperwork, and very thoughtfully included the serial number and UPC from the box the grill arrived in. Thank you so much!!

So it turns out John Madden was right, Ace is the place...for me. I went in several times the past few days for a plumbing project for our camper. The folks at Ace were all so nice and helpful. I wish I could recall the names of all the folks I interacted with, but one stood out among the crew. Mel was absolutely wonderful. He helped me figure out a solution and then a different solution when the first one wasnt quite perfect. I never felt rushed and felt that Mel also was enjoying what he was doing. I have 5+ years of retail experience and the staff at Ace was all wonderful. If the owner happens to read this, the other initials on the receipts were ACH and SEK, but again - go to Ace. They didnt have what I needed, but the employees were helpful and friendly.(*Edit* to be fair we needed a very specific color and type of screw, and no one else had it either. Clearly not every store can carry everything all the time.)

Very helpful folks, the older guys that work there are really knowledgeable. The younger guys are very enthusiastic about helping, though dont have as much experience. The Sodastream is a new thing to them, so they dont yet know how to do the exchange and give you the proper discount on a new bottle. Join their rewards program for GREAT discounts. Overall I love these guys!

Always friendly and you can ask questions about your project with seasoned vets as opposed to some of the bigger chains that seem to hire kids.

In all honesty I have been to so many Ace Hardware stores and not once have I seen someone go above and beyond like Leona. She is very generous and accommodating for my fathers and my needs. It was good but we didnt accomplish what I went for. They put something on order and well try it again next week. Fingers crossed. I really do appreciate what Steve is trying to do for me.

The store and staff are nice enough but they do little to enforce mask wearing. Yes, signs requiring a mask are visible, but I would like to see management actively enforce it as people without masks walk in and shop and are given regular service as though nothings wrong. The numbers are spiking, they shouldnt even be allowed in without a mask let alone given service.

They may not have as much stuff as the big box stores but they always have somebody available to help you look and find something I always go there when I need hardware nuts and bolts cuz their selection is better than anywhere else also they have a great selection of wood pellets for my smoker and the stock is always fresh.

As always, ACE has most of the things you need when you cant find it anywhere else.People always friendly

I came in for a few random things, nothing I needed help with but at least 4 associates stopped to ask if I had questions. The carpet cleaner I rented ended having a broken part which was frustrating (and out of their control) but Vanessa her colleagues made the return and refund process smooth and were so incredibly nice. I would 100% recommend this store.

Very knowledgeable staff that goes above and beyond to teach the customer how to use the tools that they sell. Also honest about which tools arent worth it (whether too cheap or too expensive). Great deals too, much better quality merch than the big box stores.

They really are the helpful place. Their employees are always so nice. Its easy to find someone to ask about a part. The store and selection isnt as big as Home Depot or Lowes, but its a great store to start at.This is my place for propane refills. They can refill your tank (5th refill is free). If your canister is too old, they also have the tank swap (Amerigas I think).

I have had several great experiences here. Everyone knows what they are talking about, they know about hardware and home improvement. Overall its about 100% better than Home Depot. They have always had what I needed, prices are reasonable, and there is always someone available to help!

I recently lost my one and only chip key for a work van and was worried it would not be drivable again. Kelly #2 went above and beyond to find a creative solution and was persistent in helping for a few days until he had confirmation that we were able to start the van. I couldnt be more appreciative!

Tldr; Employees are like your neighborI went in this morning looking for a specific tool I had in my head. A super narrow needle nose pliers type tool. Unfortunately I didn’t find anything that would work. Spoke with Kelly and he mentioned a tool named a hemostat that would be perfect. Went out to his car and lent me his. Tool worked perfectly. Such a kind gentleman.If you need tools, shop here! Their employees are rock stars.

Good place to get as all most anything you need

New as of 2014 and my first experience was great! Didnt feel hassled by the staff when I first walked in but they did check on me. I asked their advice on a simple plumbing part and I can say that the recommendation useful (not speculative general salesmanship). Afterwards I can say the advice was well founded and I am very happy with the product and service. Im very happy that these guys moved in!

I needed a copy of my car key. Walmart gave it a shot. 4 times. Home depot tried three before giving up. Mel got me a working copy on his first shot using a manual machine when the automatics couldnt come close! He was a total life saver! Ill never go anywhere else for keys!

I have an old car and they were able to cut a new key without any issues!
