This was genuinely the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Over the years Ive worked with big franchise brand dealerships, used dealerships, Carmax, etc. What really sets Lux apart is that its staffed by people who are here because they love cars, and that is reflected in both the inventory (which they actually drive themselves) and how they interact with prospective buyers. Getting a test drive was no problem, buying was quick and easy, they found financing at a fantastic rate, and worked with me on things like trade-in timing. Oh, and they delivered the car too. Great place all around.

Bought my new to me 2014 Jaguar F Type from Lux Auto in 2020 and they were a pleasure to work with. I am from Ohio and they are in Maryland and they did everything to send me all the details on the, nice videos, photos, etc everything to make me feel comfortable to make an out of state purchase on a vehicle without ever seeing it in person. Once i showed up to pick up the car it was detailed, filled up, ready for me to test drive the moment i arrived from my 8 hour trip to their location. Jim and Liz Wright... fantastic dealership. We were not really looking for a vehicle but late last Wednesday we were passing by Lux Auto and wife spotted an orange Jeep Wrangler and wanted to stop and see it. We were on our way home from Eastern Shore back to West Virginia. This was close to their closing time. Stopped and looked at a 2013 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Rubicon.... it looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor, so clean and low mileage... and the price was fantastic. Aaron came out and greeted us and just the way he presented himself was not like he was out to pressure us into buying this jeep. No like a typical auto salesman, very polite and professional and down to earth. So we looked at the Jeep and test drove and talked and not just about the Jeep, he is a real person that has a great personality and easy to talk to and no pressure on any of this sale or pushing into purchasing. Asked for a CarFax printout and he did it right away and went over it with us in detail. Told him we wanted the Jeep and would put a deposit on it. Funny here they just put a new card reader/sales system in and it kept rejecting my card for a deposit.. he said dont worry and to contact him next day as he would hold the Jeep. Told Aaron we were paying cash and no need to finance. Met the young man that details the vehicles for them also and he was very down to earth and pleasant. The vehicle price was already about 2k under bluebook and we asked if any more room for lower price and he was honest and said he did not think so and would talk to Tiffany in morning. They closed at 7pm but Aaron stayed there and chatted and took care of us and by the time we left it was almost 9pm and no push to get us off the lot. Next day, called and talked to Tiffany the finance manager and very pleasant and professional and again down to earth and easy to talk to. We arrived Thursday after an 80 plus mile trip and the staff was still as pleasant as before and had the Jeep ready and paperwork ready. We spent more time chatting than it took to get us in and out. Jeep was detailed more and pristine. Their whole sales process is streamlined and they are on top of it and no burps or oh by the way like many dealers do. Tiffany covered the extended warranty that they sell by ProGuard and of course we are very skeptical of these warranties. She covered it in detail and no pressure to purchase it but was kind to recommend a specific coverage if we wanted it. Researched that warranty company as we sat with Tiffany and Aaron and it had great reviews and they were not offended at all. We actually bought this warranty and purchased the level above what was recommended. Our son was with us and helped throughout this process and with the great service the Lux team provided stated when he is ready to purchase another vehicle he is going back to Lux, thank you Aaron, Tiffany and sorry i cant remember the detailers name but thank you too.. the team is great and highly recommned purchasing from Lux, all their autos are pristine and great pricing... Aaron even offered to take us for a ride in the Porsche they had there but we were strapped for time to get back home..

Got in contact with these people about a car I was interested in. Was called back so I asked some questions about the car and asked about a car I wanted to trade in. She said email some photos of the VIN and the car and theyd get back to me within a few hours. Sent the requested photos and info to the email address she provided the same day and it went 2 days till I decided to follow up because I wanted some more info on the car before I traveled to see it, and then they finally responded. Lo and behold, they already sold the car to someone else. I would have bought the car if they had communicated in a timely manner as promised. Secondly, beware of dealer fees here that they say are completely normal. Advertised price on the car that I was interested in was $16,700. Add a $995 inspection fee, $775 reconditioning fee, and some other fees that are completely normal according to these people, and the price actually ended up being $18,900 in the end, not including taxes. Make sure you take an extra $2,000 along when buying a vehicle here.Edit in reply: I was trying to make the trip but wanted some more info before traveling 2.5 hours. The bottom line is that you promised a reply within a few hours and 2 days later I hadnt heard back. Someone needs to teach you folks about how customer service works. If you had given me info in a timely manner as you promised you would have gotten my business. YOU snoozed, and you lost my business.

Customer service was outstanding from the minute we pulled into the lot. Salesman took the time to understand our needs and use of the vehicle. We felt no pressure during the process and dealer took the time to be sure we were completely satisfied. Buy with confidence.

I do not recommend this dealership. If you have questions about any of their cars, do not expect speedy correspondence. They promised they would get back to me in a few hours, and after a few days I hadnt heard back. When I emailed to follow up, they said they had just got a deposit on the car. Beware of high dealership fees as well.
