After I left work, I decided to stop at this location on my way home to get some birthday stuff for my daughter. She is 10 afterall. Got what I needed, and loved that it wasnt busy and love how bright this store is. Most other Kroger stores are darker inside. This is a much nicer store. My cashier was great. Heres my 2 stars...I waited for a few minutes by the floral department wanting to get some balloons. Nobody came, so I walked to the front to see if someone could page for assistance. The person I spoke with at the self checkout was not the sharpest tool in the shed. I asked if he could page for someone, but he just kept saying, I work up here, I dont know anything with the balloons. He was not listening at all. Finally, another cashier paged, and I went back to wait.... and I waited. I saw many employees walk by, but nobody came to help and nobody asked if I needed assistance. After 5+ minutes, I checked out with what I had. Its my only childs 10th birthday, and I just wanted her to have a couple balloons to celebrate. She cant really have a party anyway. So, a perfect star for the cashier, and a star for how bright the store is. But nothing else. I guess Im supposed to go out of my way to a different store, or shop somewhere else altogether. 😡And with not many shoppers in the store, I was appalled at the sight of absolutely no shopping carts in the store at the entrance. Good thing I only wanted a couple items...

It was Friday and 15 registers were closed and 5 were open. That probably wouldnt have been a problem if six of them were not self serve and did not require employees. Sadly to say I walked out because of the huge long lines and went to the competition

Store is clean, had to search for a cart but thats not too bad. What youd expect from.a grocery store.

I got followed around by their security cop the whole time I was there. I literally just went there for lettuce and taco sauce

The parking lot can be difficult to get in when heading east.  It requires a Michigan left (where you pass the intersection, go to a crossover, make a left, head back the way you came and make a right). Exiting is difficult because of the locations onto a busy road and state highway. Be careful. Store is clean. Workers do their tasks perfunctorily.The place is kept generally clean and orderly.  It is a blast of merchandising when you enter.  They offer at least 12 different types of olives in the delicatessen area.  I don’t think I need that many olives but it is nice to know if an event that comes up at which nearly every olive variety would be de riguer that I will be set.Fruits and vegetables are fresh and brightly colored.  Watch the apples as they may look delicious but if they are forced they will be very hard a very long while.  Their cold cuts collection is fine.I don’t appreciate the extensive liquor marketing but that’s my personal taste in a supermarket.

Horrible place to shop!!!! Carts unsanitized with sticky surface on 3 different carts. No mask screener at entrance so some people walking around unmasked. Ill never shop here again! Rude staff as well.

Unbelievable need a better staff but there’s a few decent members who will help you and make you feel comfortable asking for help it’s a shame when reviews can’t be 5* for a huge company like Kroger’s

Had three employees walk by me with all the pop machines beeping and full(about 9am 7/16). One walked by me and said something smart.. .. I know I couldn’t make out. I didn’t bother asking anyone because it seemed the not my job was in in full force. They knew dam well they were full. I didn’t finish with all my returns only a couple bucks left. Also, got 2 employees giving me a look as I was leaving too. Pretty sure one was a Manager. Sorry, for getting my returns taken care of, and getting the money back I already spent. Have all the faith I’ll never walk in there again. I kept cool, but I left very irritated.

As an employee of the company I cannot extend my gratitude towards all of my coworkers. We may struggle at times, but in the end we all strive to help everyone. I have always shopped here for almost 11 years now and now I get to give back to all.

BERNADETTE at customer service is rude as I don’t know what! Very HOSTILE! Security even made it know she has a HORRIBLE attitude, she needs to take a customer service class STAT or be fired.

Like the smaller store; however past few years become harder & harder to shop there. (Prior to COVID19 issues) always out of MANY items, usually SALE. Example 7UP products 4 for 10, they STOCK 4 of each Diet flavor. Thats ALL Always empty. PEPSI empty several times. Frozen, Meat, are same. Evidently MANAGER doesnt know how to ORDER. It is an older store, but did not used to have these issues.

Employees could not care less about helping you out. While waiting at the u-scan for approval because the machine thought there was something in the bag area the lady was on her phone. After a few seconds maybe 30 I walked over to her and she turned away and ignored me. I walked out leaving my stuff on the scanner and she had the audacity to ask me if I was going to put my stuff back. I laughed and walked away. Funny how they dont want to talk to you because that would constitute work and walking away just creates even more work for them. Thats what I call instant karma.

Decent store.I.always shop there prices can be higher than other grocery stores, but not that bad.Cashiers...well some are nicer than others. The one thing I dislike though is the money order line.they only have 1 cashier with a line full of ppl.It moves soooooo slllooooww.

This Kroger is the best place to go shopping for any of your grocery needs. Not only that, but theres so much more to offer. With things like a phenomenal produce department and very short wait times in line I highly recommend spending your time shopping here.

Multiple employees wearing their face masks around their necks. People are dying and these employees cant be bothered to properly wear a mask while stocking shelves, pathetic!

Found everything l wanted. My cashier was nice and moved quickly. It would be nice if you added some flavor to the frosting you used on the cupcakes. That pink and red frosting has a weird taste to it.

Store is decently clean, food is always fresh, cashiers arent very friendly tho. They like to talk to each other more than the customers. Good store for quick in and out trips.

I love this store. Conveniently on my way home. I come here because they are so well stocked. I get great coupons mailed to me based on what I buy so I can actually use them. Kroger has the lowest prices.Very nice staff and very clean.

I like this Kroger, the environment is calm and you can take your time shopping. There is another Kroger right up the street and I perfer this one because of the environment. I feel like this is my friendly neighborhood store.

Many items, not counting disinfecting ones, were out of stock again today here. Being a long time shopper (20 yrs +) at this location, it makes me sad to see how it continues to decline...

Cam here for the sushi bar. Apparently they dont have one. Got some potato salad that was on sale. In and out. Update bathroom and get a sushi bar

Its convenient. They have good sales and the staff is more than helpful. Sometimes they can be s little pricey but thats the only downside.

This store is the greatest I always went to growing up. I remember the old blue recycling bottle machines by the front. The deals are even better in this tech society

Not my usual Kroger...it was on the way home though. I needed an appliance bulb for my fridge, which they had. The store was clean, well stocked and checkout time was average. Some of the employees could be a little friendlier.

Always has fresh vegetables. Great bakery products. The best value and variety of food choices.

Great Krogers and location its always clean they always have disinfectant wipes at the door and they take care of there carts. They have great deals as usual and honestly think there meat is better for some reason also its clean. My only complaint is the freezer section it got downgraded for some reason so certain items im used to getting got the boot either way I recommend it.

I go to this Kroger regularly because its closest to home. I think they should have a better selection of frozen foods and more stock of things. It sometimes gets crowded and checkout can take a little time. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. Im not too fond of their bottle return area, being that its small and sometimes overcrowded, as well as the machines not working properly at times.

I really like the store layout. Makes finding what I need very easy. Very spacious but not too big. They have promotions and sales almost all of the time.

Laid out weird and all the doors but one were locked and had to go thru the exit to get in.

Always Dirty out of stock and RUDE CASHIERS. THE ONLY TIME I WILL GO THERE IS BECAUSE ITS CLOSE TO THE HOUSE. OTHERWISE ID NEVER GO THERE. STOCK UP THE fruit and vegetables. Or better yet go to the Cherry Hill and Mermimam location and take some NOTES ON HOW A GROCERY STORE SHOULD LOOK

Warning!!! Do not go into the Ladies bathroom unless you want to get sick. I have actually left my cart of groceries and drove home to go to the bathroom.Ive also gotten sick 3 * on their deli food... cooked shrimp, tuna salad and General Tsos spicy chicken.Dont bother complaining to a manager because they are all crooked. The employees are not allowed to take tips but the managers will grab a tip in a heartbeat if no ones looking.They often never restock many of their popular items. Just to name a few, Raspberry sorbet, chocolate chip ice cream, hazelnut cream and roast beef from the deli. Then they discontinued carrying their half loaves of Bunny Bread and the sweetener that I use in my coffee. This particular store is referred to as the ghetto Kroger by customers and staff.I now mostly do my grocery shopping at the Krogers on Cherry Hill and Merriman. Huge difference.

The workers I have engaged with were very friendly and helpful, the only thing that was annoying is almost every time we have token back bottles and can,s there would be a line of people waiting on a worker to come back. And empty the machines because they would all be full, and one time we waited 20 minutes for some one to finally come help us after we asked 3 of the workers we ran into and rang the buzzard for the first one said yep Ill get it and said be right back well she never came back lol,other then that its been a good experience.

Normal this is a fast place and today it took forever for 2 cheese burgers with extra pickles. Then I get my cheeseburgers and they were smothered in mustard and cold and no extra pickles. Then dont forget the thumbs that were smashed into your bun.

This Kroger is unfortunately in a very sorry state. There is much that is disorganized from the floor plan to the fact that random merchandise is scattered throughout the store where it does not belong. The selection in meat, produce, and the bakery is quite limited by comparison to other Kroger stores which was another disappointment. The only saving grace for this store was the friendliness and willingness to help of the staff. If nothing else they have a genuinely empathetic staff, but I will not visit again due to the other failings.

Was there at 9:00 on a Sunday night and I dont think they had stocked the shelves since Friday. No help could be found anywhere. Total waist of a trip. Ive never been to a bad Kroger before but then again never been to a Kroger in Westland before. Jesus people, clean up after yourselfs.

The bathrooms are almost always filthy. There’s always flies flying on produce. I watched one of the supervisors bag another customer’s produce that was damaged instead of replacing it, that’s disgusting. You can barely find what you need because they hardly ever stock up. Don’t bother complaining to management because they’re just as bad if not worse. They’re rude not helpful just gonna put the blame on either a cashier or bagger.

Low prices, good selection. Friendly associates. I use my Kroger fuel points to save even more at the grass station. I ALWAYS use the cashier to check out & bag my groceries. I like to help employ people, NOT machines. The associates are also represented by the UFCW labor union. Earning good wages and decent benefits which in turn allows them to contribute to their community

I regularly shopped there but after being turned away because of my ADA protected disability Im sure I will be shopping somewhere else in the future.

Everyone is kind and polite. Although its a busy locations and the lines can tend to get long, typically the staff there work very fast and I feel that I dont have to wait too long in line. Good options for food sales and using my Kroger card helps reduce my bill, which helps alot compared to other stores.

Tonight Im giving Kroger a 4☆ coz nothing I chose was on sale!!Otherwise, it was quiet and all of the employees were buzzing around, doing their duties -- they were pleasant as well.

Never going here again. Roommates wallet was stolen and employees when confronted about the situation had nothing but attitude and didnt want to be bothered. Security was nowhere to be seen. Roommate tried asking people who were down the aisle he last remember having the wallet and the gentleman made a big stink about it and threatened to knock him out on camera and again security wasnt even around. They have 2 cameras down that aisle, they have a few security guards.....I thought this was suppose to help against theft??

This is an awesome Kroger. I actually enjoy grocery shopping here. It is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The items that I shop for are always in stock and I rarely have a poor checkout experience.

Cant stock produce at all go to some organic grapes all old and moldy whoever stocks produce doesnt do their job yall suppose to pull the old stuff off not put it back on there slowly disliking this location and soon ill take my business somewhere else

Love it, almost everything I could want is conveniently there. In and out quickly. Only complaint, the bottle room is a little dirty.

Ive shopped regularly at this Kroger over 10 years. The customer service is great. Managers are polite and very helpful.

The only reason I put one star is because I didnt have an option to put NO stars. The people at the deli had me standing for 15 minutes waiting for service, all the while dodging any type of wave for help I gestured, just to find out the counter was not being serviced at that time. It doesnt take more than 2 seconds to acknowledge someone waiting for assistance.

They where fast and helpful for once only because of the holiday and they where closing early, this was my go to Kroger for years until I had a bad experience with the cashier and the bagger talking to much to each other and taking they sweet time.

This is the most disgusting Kroger I think Ive ever been to. I got sick after eating the lunch meat the people in here all look dirty I feel like people just walk around and hang out there dont even buy anything. The shelves look have empty their sticky stuff on the floor and a lot of items are not where theyre supposed to be at. Ive been to really good grocery stores and this has to be the worst experience I think Ive ever had.

Rarely do I like to go to this store because of the clientele. I prefer to go down the street to the nicer one. I do have to go here sometimes and the staff is nice.

Went to Kroger, there is a Jewelers store there called S & J Jewler to fix my Necklace lock. Reasonable and very Friendly, has a nice selection did good work had what I needed. Did not have to have it sent out...Fix Necklace and my Eagle Emblem..

Lower selection of food items than larger Kroger stores. Employees (that you can find on the floor) are nice & cashiers are all friendly, pleasant to deal with.

They had plenty of fresh produce and the prices were on point. All in all it was a great experience for today.

This is my favorite Kroger store. I know where everything is. They dont always have what I need, probably due to space limitations, but I prefer shopping this one.

What can I say? The workers do the bare minimum with about that much enthusiasm. Experience at self checkout was not being able to access it (gift card) there. The rep didnt help much. If there is a way to check a gift card, she didnt know. Suggested customer service. There was a line. Called number on back of card. Problem solved.

My visit to Kroger on Merriman & Michigan Avenue in Westland, MI was most pleasant. I am mobility challenged, so I often use the electric cart. When I got to the checkout the young man that was bagging, put my items on the counter, voluntarily. Then he offered to help me to my car with my bags/load. The cart was low on electricity, so he had to remove the items and put them in a different cart, and assist me to my car. It was such a thrilling experience to have that level of care shown me. 10 points out of 10. Thumbs up! Try shopping there!

One of My favorite places to shop. Kroger card helps you save, and gives you gas money. Some items can be a little pricey compared to Walmart or Meijer, but way more locations by me. Also, I love Kroger Brand food items, they are better (to me) than most expensive name brand items and affordable. They use Michigan grown and made products and Im all for that.! People buy food because of the brand name (retarded) and its exactly the same ingredients and tastes almost identical. I like saving my hard earned $$. Im a Cook so I know good ingredients and tasty food. Keep on doing a splendid job guys. 😋

Some crazy last tried to attack me and my friend cause she screamed at her 1 year old granddaughter and we calmly asked her not to scream cause we had my daughter and her son who are only 2 and 5..... she did get kicked out!! But she needs to be banned !!! All the Kroger workers said she comes in and does with with the customers all the time.... BAN HER!!

My go to grocery store. Clean and friendly environment. Always have registers opened and I have yet to experience a traffic jam at the registers! Pricing is great and they always have great deals especially their 10 for 10s. They beat Meijer all the time and at times even beat Wal-Marts price.

Probably the only decent supermarket closest to the airport hotels near DFW airport. My only complaint, this supermarket doesnt have a hot food bar.

A loyal customer, been shopping here for years but lately Everytime I come and look for a specific item you dont have it like Boston market pot pies, jiffy blueberry muffins and krusteaz blueberry pancakes; youve sold all these things in the past but no longer sell. I had to go on these products websites and do a store search just to find out you dont sell it anymore. This makes me want to go to another Kroger, only come to this one because its closer but now Im just gonna go to o the better one on Cherry Hill.

Automated checkout and associated promotions dont mesh well and cause confusion. Buy one get one specificly. Attempts to remedy were met with rudeness as an employee brushed off the need for assistance, even though that was their job description. The new surveillance apparatus is also unsettling. Hypotheticly it is using facial recognition and other artificial intelligence to observe your behavior
