We recently had Westland Floor Covering install flooring in most of our house. This included rebuilding part of the subfloor that had to be removed. The company did excellent work; its installers especially were not afraid to put in the effort necessary to do an outstanding job. We plan to go back to this company for future needs for sure.

Westland Floor Covering is a wonderful local family owned business. We hired them to replace all of the floors in our house and they did a great job in the show room and with installation.In the show room we worked with Rich and he knew everything about the products and made us feel comfortable. He did not pressure us and made sure that we were selecting the best product that would work for us and our needs (which is unlike other larger companies in our area). Wonderful products and service.His son did the installation. We had a complicated project with nice hardwood laminate that was put into several rooms. First they had to tear out several different types of flooring and make sure all the rooms were all level. This was complicated because we had several years and layers of laminate from the previous homeowners. His team was on time, worked hard and in the end their work was beautiful!This is the best flooring company in the canton, Livonia, Plymouth and Westland area. You will get individual service because the people care about their customers and it is family owned. I will be using this company for all my flooring needs in the future as well!

This is a family-run business with the type of integrity not often found these days. They have been in business for decades and have the kind of knowledge and skill that come with experience. My wife and I found their prices fair and their attitude toward customers excellent. Also, their installers were terrific. Phil, a member of the family, came over and made sure all measurements were exact, and Marty, Phils brother, installed the carpeting neatly and perfectly with the expert assistance of Richard. Our experience was wonderful. Great product, good price and excellent installation. Westland Floor Covering worked with us to find the right type of flooring for a difficult mudroom/machine room space. Their installer did an expert job and the floor now looks just beautiful. I highly recommend this company for any flooring job.

I got about 400 sq. ft. of carpet installed on my second floor along with 10 stairs and a closet. The crew did an excellent job with installation. They took their time and the stairs and floor look perfect. Their showroom is expansive and the sales support is patient and easy-going. I would definitely recommend Westland Floor Covering for carpet. I am so glad I didnt go with Lowes or Home Depot; Westlands pricing was very competitive.

The quality of our new carpet is great. BUT the service was awful. We were told originally it would take 1 week for installation and to expect a call in a day to schedule the measurement. After 3 days of waiting We had to call them to schedule the measurement and it seems as if they had just forgotten about our business. The day of the measurement we were told to expect a call that evening to schedule installation. Again, after waiting 2 days we had to call and were told it wouldn’t be until the following week for installation. Our second deposit after measurement wasn’t actually ran until a month after we were told it would be. Overall our experience was frustrating and we didn’t feel the communication was professional or adequate.

I had a great experience! I got not only great pricing, but friendly service, and professional servicing that has impressed me and anyone that has seen your work! I actually plan on getting the rest of my house carpeted from you all, after the work I have had done so far, even after previous thoughts of finishing the existing wood floors. Even though i cancelled my order to unavailability of the color we wanted, the customer service we had from Phil was top notch. I would recommend this store to everyone.

I came to this venue because I wanted to make shoppers aware of the excellent experience I had with Westland Flooring, when it replaced our linoleum kitchen floor with a luxury vinyl tile flooring in May 2018.Their price was by far the lowest I had and the experience with Phil Strabough the owner, who gave us good advice on selection of materials and installation, and the skills and attitude of his installers was outstanding. They definitely want to please their customers. I selected them after considering 5 other companies.
