We ordered bikes in May but they didn’t arrive as planned. The manager Carrie arranged for us to get rentals until they showed up. They came this week. We LOVE our Townies. Griff helped us with new helmets and accessories. He knows his stuff! Before we left the bikes got a final check up and they even put our new accessories on them. Customer service is great! We will definitely be back for servicing and future purchases. Great experience overall!

Chris did an incredible job helping me pick an appropriate saddle upgrade for my bike. He then talked to me about their hitch rack options, and then followed up with a quote by email. That level of customer service and knowledge is refreshing! I will definitely be returning and bringing my bikes here for service.

I want to thank Trek Bicycle Westerville and its staff for helping me pick out and get fitted for my new 2021 Trek FX2. I especially want to thank Josh, who spent nearly an hour of his time answering all my questions. Josh also helped me accessories my new bike with various optional equipment. Trek in Westerville did right by me. Griff helped me out on August 29th, 2021 while I was there and made this moment I was super excited for even better. The bike: 2021 Checkpoint ALR 5.I raced over to the store with under an hour left in buisness hours (the only day for about another week or so Id be able to make it). I had ordered online several nights prior, after searching for about a month and finally finding one in my size.Griff helped me with the fitting/test ride and helped me get my flat kit and a new lock. Everything else I had, he understood, and I felt no pressure to buy anything. I ended up wanting a different bike rack than I had with me, and even after having already been there 30min past close, Griff went to the distributor, picked up a new bike rack and came back, helping me install it. He was a lot of fun and genuinely a nice guy.I also want to shout out to Elden who went over some things and kept me company while Griff picked up the rack, and Josh whom did his magic in the back and made sure everything was placed on the bike and it was ready to ride.Hope you guys keep the energy you showed with me for everyone. A great looking Bike shop that has a plethora of available Bikes for sale. I had stopped in to see if they would service the FAT TAD TRIKE that I had recently purchased. Met with Sam the manager and was welcomed by his personable and friendly manner. For those reasons and the fact that Sam seemed to have quite a wealth of knowledge about Bikes/Trikes in general and the fact that its only a mile from my home, I know I they will be my go-to service station for tune-ups, repairs, etc., in the future. A pleasant atmosphere added to my visit.

I wrote a Yelp review when this event occurred back in early July 2021 but it appears to have been taken down, so I feel compelled to add this somewhat dated Google review. New Treks are back ordered and I had two new Dual Sports on order from a shop in Delaware, Ohio but they would not be in until November. On a whim, I stopped by the Westerville Trek store to see if they could get one in sooner. While there, I found a dual sport sitting on the floor for sale - very similar to one of the bikes I ordered. It seems someone had ordered it but for some reason opted out. I asked if they would hold it for me while I made sure I could cancel my order and check with my wife to see if she was OK with me getting my new bike right away, since hers would still be on backorder. I also wanted to research the difference between a dual sport and and a dual sport 3. The young man said he could not reserve it in the store but if I logged in to the website and reserved it, it would be held for 24 hours. I did that very thing from my phone while standing right in front of him in the store. He moved the bike to the side of the sales floor and I even received a confirmation email reserving the bike. After cancelling the order in Delaware, confirming with my wife that it was OK, and getting my research done, I phoned early the next morning to confirm I was on my way in to buy the bike. The young man on the phone informed me that they had sold the bike shortly after I left. He showed little interest or sympathy for my situation and on several occasions simply said, Sorry dude. I phoned back later to ask for management. The manager was at least apologetic, but only offered to let me buy new bikes from her at the regular price with the same backordered delivery date, a deal I could get at any other store.So, I decided to go elsewhere.

I had an idea of what I wanted and Sam did a great job of listening and helping me make a decision based on my needs without pushing me into a more expensive option or making me feel rushed. Aggressive upsellers, deceitful (Im being nice there) and seemingly not interested in selling parts. I had one bad experience and I let it slide but last weekend it took three trips to the service desk for my kid to get the part he rode two miles to buy. Trek is careless and uninterested in helping people.1. I took a bike there for repair with a very specific problem. I was sold into buying one of their package deals which, I was told would cover the issue with my bike. When I picked up the bike...the desired repair was an additional charge above the package cost and I ended up paying more for repairs than the bike was worth!2. Over the weekend, my kid tried to buy a tube but was given the incorrect part even though he showed them the original. When he returned it....they gave him the wrong part AGAIN....so he had to go back a third time. Who is paying attention?Trek wants you to pay them to fix your bike rather than sell you a part, and it shows. Never again for me. Westerville still lacks a decent bike shop.Reply to the owner. You do not have my contact information because I dont want you to have it. Im not interested in a refund or you making it right. You have a culture problem at Trek and it shows from a mile away. Your employees act exactly as they are trained. You treat customers like one-off and thats what you have. Every day at Trek, your associates are only interested in getting what they can...that day.

Went into the store to see if they could fix my flat tire. There was only 1 other Customer in the store and 3 or 4 employees. I stood there for almost ten minutes and no one helped me so I left and went to Westerville Bike Shop on main st. Best thing that happened to me was them ignoring me bc ingot my bike fixed. The price was great. I wont go back to trek.

The Bike I purchased is stunning. Both Sam and John were full of knowledge and made my purchase process over the phone simple and quick! I really appreciated the patience that John had with me while listening to and answering my silly questions. I had the best experience purchasing a bike for my son. Kristin was very knowledgeable and helpful. She helped talk me through the process and options over the phone and looked into upcoming deliveries of the bike we wanted to purchase. Then she helped me order the bike in the store and even add some fun details (contrasting color grips, water bottle and cage, bell). It was absolutely seamless and then the bike arrived earlier than expected! Jonathan was also helpful on the day I picked it up and reviewed maintenance and Trek Care. Our friends recommended Trek and specifically the Westerville location. We wanted to invest in a nice bike since hell be riding this one (Wahoo 26) for a number of years and during many camping trips. Were really excited with the bike we chose for him and feel great about our choice. Thanks!

I went in to Trek Westerville to get a simple pre-race safety inspection and they went above and beyond in making sure my bike was operating perfectly for 70.3 Half-Ironman triathlon the next day on July 25, and as a bonus, they even cleaned my bike in the spots I missed even though I already cleaned up my bike. My bike operated perfectly the following day and I met my goal bike pace averaging 22.3 mph for all 56 miles, which allowed me to have fresh, non-fatigued legs for the 13.1 mile run. I was so glad they took care of me even though I had a Cervelo and I didn’t have second thoughts or doubts about the bike going into the bike leg of the Half-Ironman since I knew Trek Westerville gave great service. I will also add that they charged significantly lower than what the bike mechanics were charging at the Ironman 70.3 race village and I think Trek Westerville gave way better service and very low wait time.

Outstanding customer service! Fun and engaging team and the tune up on my bike was the best I’ve ever received!! Adding more...not sure who actually did the tune up but my bike has NEVER ridden so smooth! And I want to make sure whoever did knows that the RIDE IS RIDICULOUSLY SMOOTH!!!

Im from out of town and came in with a complete failure of my rear hub, leaving my bike unrideable. It was only an hour before closing, and not being a regular customer there, I didnt expect them to do much. Right away it was clear they were committed to getting me fixed up and out there with a smile on my face before the end of the day. They ultimately warranteed my entire wheel and replaced it with one from a new bike they had in stock. All they charged was a little labor, and I left with a smile on my face and a bike that was in better shape than when I went in there. I cant say enough good things about the experience. I imagine there are many loyal customers of this shop.

Excellent sales and services. Reasonably good selection of bikes in spite of supply issues related to COVID-19 pandemic effect on bicycle availability. Remodelling of the Westerville location is a much better use of space and has more focused product display. The old iteration of Trek Westerville was more like a generic warehouse, that somewhat unfortunately, put more focus on clothing and accessories and less on bikes. More women on staff a plus, especially to cater to diverse bicycle community. Note that in spite of (this location) being more than just a successful shop facelift, it is slightly troubling that some 2020 Trek models didnt make it to the racks in significant quantities and may not even arrive until very late 2021 / early 2022. Is it time to bring back manufacture of bikes to the USA??? Or, are brick and mortar stores now a thing of the past, especially with pre-ordering becoming the norm?

Jon, Wes and the entire staff at Trek have been extremely helpful with the bikes I purchased for my daughters. They are knowledgeable and willing to take time to explain all the options available. The bikes were a surprise for my kids and they did a good job keeping it that way as we pretended to look for a bike for my husband. They were able to ask questions without blowing the surprise while my kids helped us look for a bike for their dad. I appreciate all their help as they went above and beyond to assist us in picking the right bikes for our children.

Ive been coming to Trek Bicycle Westerville for about a year now and really appreciate their focus on the customers specific needs. The employees are knowledgable, attentive to detail, and provide excellent suggestions for improving the riding experience. Even with the extra load theyve shouldered through the COVID crisis, Ive never felt rushed or ignored in any way, and I believe its this way for every customer who walks through their doors. All three of the local Trek stores are great. The Westerville shop definitely exceeded my expectations. Recently, I was rehabbing my 2003 Trek Multitrack 7100 hybrid and needed a fourth hand cable stretcher. I was leaving for Florida soon and wanted to take my bike, so there was some urgency associated with the project. No bike shops stock a fourth hand as it’s typically a special order item. Trek Westerville offered to sell me one of their used fourth hands at a discount allowing me to expedite the bike’s rehab. Excellent customer service and much appreciated. Mike Armstrong

My office will reimburse up to 1k dollars for 12 bike rides to work. So, I purchased a bike from Trek and the experience was wonderful. Someone with actual knowledge of biking walked me step by step through each bike I was interested and gave valuable information and insight. It will probably be a few hours, so be prepared to wait for your new ride to be prepped. Lights, water bottle & cage, and a pouch to hold a spare tube. I can go on all day about this experience 😁 Im very happy with Trek and my purchase!FX3

Happy with the work performed on my bike.Phone system is a bit of an issue - I tried calling and left two voicemails the week after dropping off my bike for two new tires (tubes had to be ordered). No one called me back. I received an email and text saying my bike was ready for pickup the day after my second voicemail. After leaving a review about not being able to get ahold of anyone at the store, the manager called me to make things right. Greatly appreciated the follow-through and will be back.

Ive been to this shop twice now. Bought a trainer and a wheel. Second time, I called ahead and they did about an hour of pre-work before I arrived. Also, everyone there is cool. Ive had lengthy conversations with John and Sam, and theyre personable in addition to offering expert advice.

On a Sunday, I brought my bike in for a bent derailleur. The staff was friendly and examined my bike. In addition to my required service, I was up-saled into a new chain. I was given an estimate of $60 for all services. And a service completion date of Thursday or Friday.As of Friday, I never received a call. I called for an update and was provided a completion date of Friday afternoon. Upon receiving a call I arrived and picked up my bike. The total came to $97. I asked why the estimate was off by nearly a 30% and given the explanation that “you know you never can tell how much work is needed”. The repair was excellent and no issues with the workI was not pleased with the estimate being off by so much. And I wasn’t pleased about having to follow up during the time it should have been completed, to get a completion timeframe.

11/22/2018Bought the new Foray shoes. So far they are giving a good performance. Needed a new pair of shoes for my trainer. Jon helped me decide the best quality and get the right fit! Thank you Trek for another great customer service experience. It is good to have a place I know will deliver on quality and has good honest people to take care of you.

Trek Westerville is an outstanding place to buy or service your next bike. They are a Trek factory store, so Trek is the only brand, but boy do they have an HUGE inventory of Trek products.I drove 140 miles to try an FX6 Sport that no one had in stock locally. Amy took care of me, and she was awesome. Amy eats, breathes, and sleeps bikes!!! She was super knowledgeable and helped fine tune the bike to fit me perfectly.There is also a bike path right next to their store. I was able to take a number of bikes on a real test ride (10 miles on a bike path) vs. riding around the parking lot of two other dealers I visited.I would highly recommend Trek Westerville. When you stop in, ask for Amy.

Love everything about the store especially a fine guy named Mr. Wes Mayer who greeted and treated me very well (I am deaf). He makes my visit and stay very warm and communicated with me well. If we can have 100 people like him, the world would be a perfect place for anyone. Utopia! I definitely would come back to the specific store!

I am an older rider who just rides for exercise and fun. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of their products and knew just what I needed. I was given some good recommendations for things to consider in the future, as well. With such great customer service, I will definitely be back!

Went in for new tire and got great advice to go along with it. One associate I first worked with was honest my question wasn’t he’s expertise and wanted me to talk to someone else to make sure I got the right information. Experience was personalized to my asks and needs.

The manager Jon and service manager Wes are great guys and are always willing to help out! They will go above and beyond to satisfy the needs of customers and enjoy doing it every time!

I went to Trek Westerville a few months ago with a ton of questions. I had decided I wanted to dive into the world of road bikes and had no idea where to start. I walked in with a ton of questions. I spoke with Jon and he listened to what I was wanting out of my first road bike a d made a ton of suggestions. He spent about an hour with me going over a ton of questions and giving me info i didnt even know i needed. Jon made me feel welcome and like part of the family. When it was time to finally make a purchase I knew exactly where I wa ted to go to make my purchase. Jon helped me out again and made the process super easy. Because of all of the craziness that is going on with the Covid pandemic, the inventory was limited, but Jon helped me find what I was looking for and took great care of me! I decided on the bike for me and then Jon went over all of the accessories and other items I might need for my new bike. I can go on and on about the great experience I had at this store. I recommend it for any one looking for thier first bike, or thier next bike. 10/10!

This place the absolute best!!!! Not only do we get outstanding customer service EVERY TIME were there, but the reps have proven that theyre all about getting you on the right bike. My husband and I are new to cycling, and stepped in Trek Westerville for the first time a couple weeks ago. We basically new nothing about the sport or about Trek for that matter. Since then they have continued to educate us and patiently work with us as we grow more and more on our cycling journey.
