Awful experience. They promised to return our ring before they closed. They couldnt, but okay... they wouldnt ship the ring or anything. I called to make an appointment to pick up our ring that theyve now had for over three months and they hung up. I had to call back multiple times and the person was so rude.She said she hung up because she had someone else to help. Absolutely horrible. Pick a different jeweler. This company will lie to you and give you 1000 reasons why they cant do anything to help. Kay also is associated with Jared. I hate them so much Im just getting a different ring from a different jeweler. I dont want their blood diamonds and lies.**Update: we were able to get the ring today. They provided us with a pamphlet that shows they dont in fact *claim* to use conflict diamonds. With what I know of the diamond business, I dont know how truthful this is, but theyve got a pamphlet if it makes you feel better?The manager was nice and helpful, they didnt charge us for the resizing, but they did want my review changed, so I dont know that its because they actually cared or if they wanted the review changed. Overall, I still wouldnt recommend them, either way.Support a small jeweler where you can get something more special and unique. You will likely have a better experience, either way.

We bought an ring 10 years ago for my wife and the stone felt down just a few weeks ago. We took it to our local Kay store and drop it off. When they were done, the put the stone back and clean it up the ring. They did an amazing job taking care of everything. The guy was friendly and helpful. The explain to us what was Happening and everything. I would totally recommend getting your jewelry from here.

Got me in and out quick. Super kind employees. It takes a couple weeks to get your ring resized but other than that no complaints. I love the ring I got! So pretty and perfect! Even after a year of wearing it everyday it’s still gorgeous and I always stare at my hand! My fiancΓ© made a great choice!

My only complaint is customer service over the phone. I called to make sure my ring had been sent off for resizing because the email I received didnt indicate that it had. I was getting a little worried about that since I had brought my ring in on a Monday and the status hadnt changed as of Thursday, so I figured a call to follow up wouldnt do any harm. Whoever I spoke to on the phone wasnt polite about answering my questions and let me know when my estimated pickup date was (which I knew)... I was simply concerned that the ring hadnt been sent off. Note to self: dont call with any concerns to this store.

We bought a pearl ring about 2 years ago with the lifetime warranty! Although frustrating, we were grateful for the hard work of Sylvia who is in charge of repairs for going above and beyond in fixing my wifes ring. She was attentive over the phone, kind, patient, and most importantly given us a ring that we can pass on to one of our daughters. The store manager Sam is a nice guy with a friendly demeanor who takes pride in customer satisfaction!

This place has been ridiculous to work with. My fiancΓ© got my ring back in November and they needed to make a new one because of sizing. He was told it would take a couple weeks and the latest would be beginning of January. Well we called every couple weeks and were told something different every time. Finally we get a call saying they have it. We go in to get it and they can’t find it. Then they tell us they’ve actually had it since December 20. We have called half a dozen times since then and were never told they had it. They finally find it after being there for 45 minutes. They get two starts because the associate today was really nice and forgiving. But i would avoid this place if you want your jewelry on time.

Super disappointing. Bought my husbands band 2 years ago and it is all scratched up and they wont replate or replace it. After all the years of being strictly a kay customer i have several pieces through them time to find a new jewler who is happy to help customers instead of telling them to buy a new band after 2 YEARS

This location is nothing short of amazing. The staff is all so friendly and full of smiles.I have a necklace that i have had to get fixed three times. This time the manager Garry was in and complety just replaced the chain for me. I did not ask for this but am so grateful!!! Thank you kay for going over and beyond for me!!

These guys are just as bad as south towne mall! They are crooks! Treat you like your garbage, damage your rings and dont care! Management straight up called me and customer service a liar because she messed up and didnt want to take responsibility! They charge you more then they should, they dont go over contract or payments with you. They rush through so they can get commissions! I will NEVER BUY FROM KAYS AGAIN! YOU PEOPLE NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN AND LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE! -5 STARS! Ive been a customer for damn near 15 years and bought several items that were a min of 3k each and you people have lost mine and everyone I know business! BBB should be involved with these people!

Original review on the West Valley Utah store, also copied to South Towne in Sandy, UT and Fashion Place Mall store due to updates below.I am of frustration that I would not do business with Kay again. Too many issues and too much of a fight.Full story with updates below. The district manager in training Kelsey at Fashion Place made the previous situation right for us but ultimately its just too much to do business with them again.In December of 2016 I bought a LeVian strawberry gold, morganite, chocolate diamond and vanilla diamond ring for $2200 (retail price is $2475) to replace my ceramic wedding band. I was told I could trade this in down the road. However, after 6 months of ruling out other issues, I discovered I was allergic to the copper in the rose (strawberry) gold ring. Kay would not allow a trade in aside from the diamond value of about $300. $300 would not replace my ring by any means. The company still sells the ring and I believe it would have been fair to offer even the sale value of the ring toward a trade in.Do not buy jewelry without a center diamond stone from Kay or you will not get anywhere near the value of your ring back if you need or want to trade this in at some point. I am left with a wedding ring that I cannot wear.Update 1/13/2018:Went into the South Towne store to have my husbands ring resized - we bought the jewelry replacement plan which will replace his ring since they cant resize it. The South Towne store told us we couldnt only do this once. The plan terms and conditions do not list only one resize and yet the store would not honor it. As you can imagine, Im highly frustrated with Kay, yet again.I just picked up my ring from the Fashion Place site last week after having it sized smaller and it was a very poor job, uneven in the sides and a dent looking shape on the other.Update 6/29:On 6/8/2017, the Orem, UT store manager made an exception and allowed me to exchange to another LeVian ring ... if I spent $500 or more extra, which I did. I found a pretty black and white diamond band in white gold that I really liked. Later that night, I found out one of the smaller diamonds was missing so I took it to the store closer to my husbands work, South Towne Mall in Sandy, UT, to have it repaired. Yesterday, 6/28, my husband picked up the ring on his way home. The repair was shoddy work - you can tell on the edge of the band where they tried to pull the gold from the band - its a little sharp AND they left a deep scratch further down the side of the band AND another diamond is missing (different place). Did they just take the diamond from another place and hope I wouldnt notice or is the ring that cheap in quality?Im going back tonight in hopes to exchange to a non-LeVian ring. Ill update later.6/29 - South Towne Mall - they were nice and helpful but ultimately suggested I go to the Fashion Place store to speak with the district manager.6/30 - Fashion Place Mall - I worked with Kelsey and she was amazing. I did end up spending an extra $700 (above and beyond the $600 from the last trip) but I got a much better ring due to their 25% off bridal sale. Thank you Kelsey - your assistance has changed this review.
