I have used mike roy for 20 plus years and although they do good work they charged me 957 dollars to do my plugs wires cap and rotor and nothing else even though i asked for a full tune up no oil change nothing was done and had my 04 v6 4.3 silverado for 8 hrs i could of done this job by myself you know for 600 less anyway i am going to have to say im not happy my engine light came right back on and now my turn signal says it on when it not. Im done with mike roy ive gave him enough of my time abd money and plebty of oppurtunitys to do right by me and nothing was ever done so he is defently not a man that for sure real men dont do stuff loke this to people just because they feel they can. So if i were you i would think twice before bringing my vehicle to mike roy... also they never even called me they just did it upon there self then called me and said truck done so yeah thst not cool either cuz i would of laughed and said no thank you there buddy.

Very honest mechanic. Saved me over $1,600 dollars on a job that he found out if I take it to the dealer they will fix it for free. This is after they worked for like 3 hrs making sure that was the problem. Sure enough that was the problem and the dealer said they will cover the cost. He has my business moving forward.

This place has gone downhill and will take advantage of you and rip you off! My family and I used to come here all the time to service our cars. My Fiancée’s car died a few blocks away from here. I let her know to tow the car and have them fix it. 5 hours later, I call to see what was wrong. She said they still havent told her anything. I called them to find out. They said that it was the starter and that they were already in the middle of fixing it. I asked how come they didnt let either of us know and what was the price. Their response was that they thought that since the car was towed here, we would want it fixed and they didnt need to let us know. They ended up charging DOUBLE of what 5 other mechanics in the area would have charged (I called around after hearing their outrageous price). They sounded quite smug about the fact they could charge that price since they knew we had no other option.

Mike will charge you more than double what the part cost, and if you want to bring him the part yourself he will charge you more in labor, mike just cares about your money not your car, he will cut corners to get your car back to you sooner, and charge you more than the factory dealership, don’t even let your car enter his shop.

Went in for a simple cleaning of an Egr it was only supposed to cost $300 but after the EGR blockage was clean it caused more problems totaling up to a thousand Mike did get it right but was not expecting $1,000 bill when he said $300 should fix it

Be prepared to be taken advantage. They did not let me know what was wrong with my car till I asked about 6 hours later. They were already fixing the car at that point without even letting me know what was wrong or what the costs would be. They ended up charging me double of what the repairs should have been.

Dont even want to give them one star.Went there just now to wash my car and Their machine got stuck with my $2.50 in it and this guy tells me to go to another spot so I do and then they expect me to put more of my own money in..Like Hello its your machine that just stole my money and youre not going to compensate me now. Youd rather I drive off with my car half washed because I didnt come with that much money.Wow what a service!!!Nice one Mike Roy.....

Ive used this garage several times over the years and he wasnt always the cheapest but Ive never had any issues with the quality of their work. So when my water pump went I had my car towed to Mike Roys. However sometimes you feel like your being taken advantage of and in this case I was. They over double the cost of what they paid for the parts and almost doubled the guidelines for the average labor hours for the job. I believe a business should be able to charge an honest rate but that was not the case here. I was taken advantage of.

Been to this shop twice for work I couldnt do myself (replace clutch and broken idler pulley) and each time I was treated well and I loved the work they did. Pricing is honest in my opinion. I will definitely keep them in mind I have a need for a professional shop for work I cannot do myself.

More than 20 years with Mike Roy Automotive: Recently, I had to have major work performed on my car. Knowing the quality, fair pricing and integrity Mike Roy has always provided for me, I did not hesitate to have my car towed 35 miles to Mikes garage. Mike had advised me more than a year ago that time had come to replace my car and that I probably should do that within a year. Unfortunately, I did not do that at the time. Instead, I let my 15 year old Kia sit another year and a half in salt air while I was away. On my return, my car was not drivable. Mike and his staff offered several suggestions for my predicament and did not pressure me in my decision to have him repair my car in lieu of other alternatives. I decided the most practical for me was to have him repair my car which I will sell before I leave once again for an extended period. Mike and his crew have done an outstanding job setting the car right and making it safe for me to make some lengthy journeys over the next few months. Mike and his gang have never let me down. More than once I have taken my car for repairs. Mike would make a quick adjustment under the hood, or something similar and charge me nothing when other garages told me repairs would be in the neighborhood of $200.00. Knowing Mike is up the road means a lot to me, especially knowing the quality of work I will receive and the fair price I will be given for that work. I have recommended Mike Roy Automotive to everyone I know who is need of car repairs. Sitting in his waiting room in the past I have learned that people come from even further distances than I to have their cars serviced, some coming from northern US have said they wait until they can get their car to Florida and Mike Roy to have their car serviced. What more can be said about the consistently great service.

Both Steve and Mike’s unwillingness to follow up as they promised has me baffled.I have been using Mike Roy Automotive for over 15 years and it’s time for me to call it quits and go elsewhere.The latest repair was on my personal vehicle for which I just needed a new spare tire.I did most of the legwork for them including looking up the tire size and removing it from the vehicle as Mike would not.All I asked of them was to let me know in advance what model was available so I could make sure it was to my liking.They did not and kept my rim for 2 days never calling with specs or even letting me know when it was ready.I do not like the type of tire or manufacture that was used without my consent and Mike could care less.I never asked for a price even though he is required by Florida law to give such an estimate if repairs exceed $100.My repair was over the threshold limit.People have choices about what goes on there vehicle and I for one make those types of informed decisions.Mike did what he wanted to do and NOT what I wanted….bad call and shame on you.

Took my car in for brake work. They diagnosed problem, told me the cost to fix it and had it done in the time they said. Super friendly, honest and fair. Will definitely return. Thank you Steve

Have been to many place throughout the years. came here once before for my son car and mike told me not worth fixing or wasting my money to fix, that alone told me I can trust this place. So now a year later I have a srx 2014 that was giving me a bit of trouble so brought it in with mike was told sterling rod bent so he gave me my list before touching anything, Rod, alignment, oil change, air filter labor cost was a reasonable cost. compare to Cadillac dealership and got my car back in 1 day. Highly recommend this place to anyone . 5 star all the way

Be careful with these guys, I brought my car to them with a overheating problem and they managed to get the car to not even start anymore.I even told them all it needed was a fan(which it still does). I was told my computer was bad so I would not be able to drive it without replacing it, with the excuse they were able to wire up my ignition to the battery to get it to start and fix the overheating issue.At the end of the day I spent over $500 dollars and had to tow my broken car away.Over the weekend I was able to fix this issue within 15 mins and get my car running by fixing the shorted wires on the computer they exposed and turning the key.... They had my car all week racking up hours for there so called labor and half ass repairs, will never go here again.

My mother and I have taken our car here for many years. It’s a 2003 Chevy and still runs like new!

Mike Roy is a great guy however I think hes like about 5 years behind on the automobile Zs work he is good at working on the older vehicles however anything late model would be best to take to the dealership.

I brought a used car and i am a complete idiot when it comes to anything besides pumping gas in a car. I knew the car had issues and decided to take it to Mike Roy because they had an agreement with a coupon group. They were very uup front and honest. They fixed my car right off the bat, they informed me that there are issues left but it was not imperative to tackle them now more like they just wanted me to know if something in the future happened im prepared. i always have this feeling that repair shops are trying to screw the little guy, i HONESTLY feel that this company does not do that! The fact that they gave me options and not forced me to complete everything right then and there was proof that they do quality work and are reliable folks. Positive experience, so much so ill be taking my little car right back when i have issues!!!!!
