This is a hidden gem. After living in this area for years I’ve had many friends recommend that I go in here and try their food and wine selection. It’s taken many years but I finally got here!. We enjoyed a crisp Sauvignon Blanc that was recommended by the bartender followed by a variety of small plates that were all very unique and delicious. This is a great girls night or date place. The vibe was chill but the feeling was slightly elevated.
Was really good except for a sandwich we ordered which was so so at best. But enjoyed their cheese plate, happy hour wines and nice outdoor seating. I recommend this place.
Service and food is always great here! Very relaxing, lounge-ish atmosphere with super trendy tones. Great beer and wine selection as well. Go check it out!
This place never fails, I return often and always with new friends to show off these amazing cheese and wine varieties and what beautiful ambiance 10/10
Tapas, Wine & Jazz. There is a lot to like in this intimate space.Check the board, Monday is one of the Jazz nights. We were delightfully surprised. $7 each cover for the band was well worth it.Great wine & cheese selections. We enjoyed the chicken liver pate, Spanish tortilla and roasted vegetables with goat cheese. It is pretty amazing what these folks put out from a small prep area. The wait staff was excellent and professional, a pleasure. We will be back..
This is a great spot. The food is really good, the staff friendly, and the pours are fair. The location is also excellent. It makes me feel like I’m in the CIty.
Great place to enjoy outside seating and a good cheese board. The service was excellent. Nicole to great care of us. We where recommended by friends and we will definitely go again.
I loved everything about the ambience of this location! Although it is small, it sure does pack the punch with amazing food and vibes. I started with avocado toast, which was sure not to disappoint, and took bites of my cousins shaskuska (sp?). Just fabulous. And, lets talk about the fresh OJ. Oh. My. Gosh. I just cant wait to come back.
One of the better bars in town. Highly recommend getting a glass of wine or beer. Note they do not have a hard liquor license so you won’t be able to get cocktails whiskey tequila vodka or the like. They have good food but it’s a small menu with just light appetizers-tapas style. Also live music some nights.
2 cheese boards between 4 people in the heart of downtown West Palm. Great mead selection. Lovely vibes.
Definitely one of my favorite places!Great vibe, delicious food and amazing service!Today they have live music which is making this restaurant even more cozier.
Avocado toast minus the avocado, because we ❤️ the charred jalapeño pea smash! I add a fried egg on top...yummmmThe sour cream pancakes are to die for (breakfast dessert), but we dove in too fast and forgot to take a picture🤣.Great coffee, food and friendly service! Always! One of the most consistently excellent restaurants in West Palm!!! 💟
This place was really really cool. If you like alcohol, this is the place for you. It’s not a brewery it’s more like a boutique. It’s super cute and nice for date night or even with a group of friends. I was really impressed with this place even though I didn’t get any alcohol. They even have craft soda here and dessert too. I’d come back another time for sure to explore the menu a bit kore. You won’t be disappointed!
Fast service. Great bowls. Braised short rib was delicious.
Little jewel of the East Coast! Wine selection is varied and very carefully integrated. Cold platters are excellent.
Super fun! Will definitely go back
Great place to hang out and have a glass of wine. They also have a great outdoor patio to sit at.

I had heard about the Blind Monk from word if mouth around town and decided to give it a shot. The restaurant is completely different from what Im used to but I vibed pretty well to it. Decorations are done to look like a brewery and is quite small for someone as tall as me (64). But there are some couches to sit on and some nice outside tables as well. The food was amazing; ordered a nice Pick 5 charcuterie board choosing some cheeses like Ashwood and some meats like a salami. I cant remember the full names but I can tell you it was well worth it. Wines were amazing as well (had one with Lavender in it). Staff were amazing. The only thing I will mention is the price. Quite pricey but for what you get its worth it. I would recommend you come on like a date night or something like an event night for your SO. Overall, really nice and beautiful.
Amazing! Service is attentive with food and wine that is excellent. Servers really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
Great service, good food, but tired and touristy.
Usually pretty busy, I love this place and the only reason they lost a star is because I think they should have more seating or a hostess. The servers are quick & courteous. Ps. Ask for the honeycomb when you get a cheese plate, yum!
Sick place, great wines and the out door area has a nice vibe
Quiet and relaxing with beautiful live music
LOVE IT HERE!!!! All good. It is small but that is what makes it so coooool!!!
Fabulous wines and cheeses. Great atmosphere. Good service. Outdoor dining available.
Was stuck downtown with my dog 45 min before they opened and they let me order a beer and gave my furry friend water despite being closed. Good people! Recommend the quadrupel!
Best cheese platter ever!! Great service and the wine is amazing ❤️ One of my favorite places in wpb.
Amazing place for a nice evening out with a significant other or date. Beautiful set up at night, will go again!
The Blind Monk has been on my list for a long time and visiting friends tipped the scale. It did not dissapoint. A really fun evening. I dont know how the jazz is on a daily basis but we got a female vocalist who was fantastic and pushed the experience from 4 to 5*. ( Your results may very.) It is amazing what they put out of the tiny food prep area (its not a real kitchen). We enjoyed my Spanish Tortilla, my wifes pate, the friends cheese plate... everything. The wine list still looks great even if it isnt what it used to be (what is?). The food, like the jazz, provided excellent renditions of some know favorites. Surprisingly we found street parking right out front with past time meters. Give them a try, from my perspective they are on the A list of downtown nightime activities..
Food was perfect portions and tasted great. Service was friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
My most favorite place in West Palm Beach. Everything is perfect including the atmosphere, food, and of course wine. Best cheese board I have ever had!!! The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. It is the perfect place for a romantic date or even a larger group. I can’t wait to go back ❤️ Love The Blind Monk!!
Visited WPB for a work convention, found this place while looking for a good happy hour spot for a small group of us. We sat outside and were greeted by a jolly, charming man who offered to take our drink orders. I enjoyed a local canned beer while my friends all chose off their extensive wine list.Offering small plates, drinks and live music, in a quaint welcoming atmosphere. The meatballs were delicious & just the right amount of food. I look forward to visiting again next year, the best service we received in town all week!
Absolutely our “go to” on a Friday or Saturday night. A great selection of unique beers and wines and beautiful cheese and meat platters, and other share plates. The service is quick and friendly but you never feel pushed to move on (which is amazing in this fast-paced world of in-and-out dining). The best drinking / eating establishment in downtown West Palm. A little taste of NYC or something different right in our neighborhood!
Blind Monk is still spoiling us, even though we’re enjoying our cheese boards and wine at home now. No one, in my experience, curates flavors like the Blind Monk. Thank goodness for the Market — the perfect pick me up for these times!
Great quiet very chill spot. This is the only place where i can let my server pick the wine, i know its gonna be good no matter what.
Just want to give a HUGE shoutout to one of the best venues in town. We held a fundraising dinner at the Blind Monk last night and things couldnt have gone better.Jason Hunt and his team pulled off this event without a hitch and everyone had a great time. Food was awesome and the wine pairings by Lauren Samson were perfect. If you ever need a special location for a gathering I highly recommend this place. Great place for fun and entertaining. You will be in expert care in a beautiful venue.
The Blind Monk is my favorite bar in West Palm Beach. It has such a great ambiance, cozy and cool. The staff is amazing, so friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I usually just have them pick out a wine or beer to go with my food. I love doing this because I always get to try something new and fun. I cant wait until my next South Florida trip, The Blind Monk will be my first stop.
Previously the only deficiency you might have had to hear about with your visit to the blind monk was a 5/10 on the seating on the patio. However at this time the only deficiency to mention is the specific lack of anything to complain about. If you are looking for memorable ambiance... incredible food and a wine list specifically selected by the in house Sommelier. This is the place to be... guaranteed to please the most complicated and particular of dining companions. They have also gone so far as to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy on the menu while maintaining the appropriate aura of sophistication to match the experience. They deliver an amazing experience everyday and stay open later than they need to.I used to come for the wine, service and ambiance... Mud pie and meatballs are now the reasons blind monk checks every box on my list.Be sure to thank the pastry chef... he is the guy behind the pie... made in house!!
The worst experience I’ve ever had. A friend and I walked in and found a place at the bar top. We sit down and about five minutes later a gentleman gives us a menu. It takes a while for the same guy (who i believe to be the manager) to come over and get a drink order. We asked for waters which we never received. No one could even say they would be with us in just a few minutes or anything. They just stared at us sitting at the bar. They were so disorganized that they were asking the couple next to us what they ordered so they can charge them for it. The couple was so nice to let them know they forgot items on the check. The server had to authorize the card multiple times. It took a while to get our drinks and we sat for about ten minutes seeing if someone would get our food order and still no one came over. At the rate we were going we just wanted to check out....and surprise...they couldn’t even come our way or us get their attention to cash out. There was only one register for the whole place and while one person was cashing a table out and putting orders in, another server was just standing there waiting. Her back was to all the guests! Why wouldn’t you utilize the time to check on the other guests or greet people who have been waiting! We finally wave someone one once they get off the register and ask for the check which took another ten minutes. They couldn’t even say “Have a nice day” or anything. The worst service I have ever had. I was so frustrated because the place had great reviews but most definitely fell flat. I would have given them no stars if I could. I’ve never been so frustrated with the lack of urgency and efficiency or even common respect of greeting someone and saying “I’m sorry we are a little busy but we will be with you as soon as possible”. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
So good, every time. Outdoor seating available only right now.
Great wine -- paired with great cheese. The wait staff was EXCELLENT !!
By far, one of my favorite bars in South Florida! They have a great inventory and their somm is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. Blind Monk has a warm, laid-back atmosphere with quality food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend stopping by for tapas and a glass of vino or beer. You won’t be disappointed.
By far my favorite West Palm spot! This is truly the perfect wine bar....the wine list is well-rounded, the food delicious & the atmosphere cozy and quaint. Have your server craft the perfect charcuterie board and you will never be disappointed. Live music and an amazing brunch makes this hidden gem a go-to any time! LOVE ME SOME MONK!
Best date night or any night hot spot! Features a great wine selection and delicious small bites (& beer)... Lauren is extremely knowledgable and the entire staff at Blind monk make you feel right at home enjoying a lovely evening with friends at the most intimate and hip wine/beer bar in town! Also great for brunch on the weekends + + +
Amazing spot for a chill vibe! Whether its a bro date (two bros platonically enjoying wine) or an actual date. Awesome spot. Great staff, great wine, and great bites.
Different than a lot places around. The interior is simple, modern, cozy. They have wines from all over the world, and this seems like a perfect place to sip it. They also have small/large plates of cheese and cured meats, which I find to be slightly pricey for what you get. All in all, I recommend Blind Monk for dates, as well as a place to hang out with a small group of friends.
Great place and great drinks one of my favorite place to enjoy the drinks. Bartender and serving staff was nice. Ambiance was great and the crowd that come to the place was nice and friendly. Not only this but the food was also awesome and I like the quality and presentation of the food. I came here with my friends and enjoyed a lot and would surely be back again and will definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Small Cool spot for pre dinner or an afternoon rain shower. great cheese n bread to go with good wines. Not stuck up, just chill. Sometimes your timing puts you there with some good musicians too. Outside seating nice also
One of my favorite, kind of off the beaten path of clematis restaurants. Its quaint, charming and has delicious food. I highly recommend the cheese plate or the charred cauliflower. You wont be dissatisfied. Great selection or beer and wine. I hear they have live music but I havent been there for it yet.
The Blind Monk is by far my favorite little spot downtown West Palm Beach. Just a couple blocks from Clematis, it’s the perfect location with a quiet, calm atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The decor is romantic with modern and elegant lighting and elements. Their tapas are all perfection and made to order. My favorite is the baked cauliflower with the creamy white sauce. The sommelier Lauren will help with any decisions regarding the perfect wine and pairing. She has never let me down! Whether you’re on a date, running in for a quick bite after work, or hanging out with friends, the Blind Monk is the perfect place to wind down!
One of my main places to grab something to eat. excellent location, always clean, and awesome customer service. Highly recommended!
Food is fresh and perfect for wine pairing. Check out a vintage movie on projector and belly up for some tasteful ambiance. Small local vibe. Definitely a keeper.
Relaxed vibeGreat wine list, delicious menu and perfect cheese platters. Great for date night, wine and cheese with a friend or a nice night out with friends. Lovely decor and relaxed vibe. The team are amazing.
My favorite wine bar in PBC; also have a great craft beer selection. Best staff, periodic live music, and the cheese/tapas selection is plentiful. If you are unsure of what wine (or beer!!) to try, their personnel are very knowledgeable so just ask!
Talk about ambiance! From date night, to solo computer work, this place is the perfect spot for almost any occasion. Enjoy a great selection of beer and wine along with great food! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Though it is a very popular place, it is only good if you are a Red Wine Drinker. If you are like me and enjoy Chardonnay, you have a problem because they only have one. The tables are quite tiny so if you have four people and you want to eat some of their very good appetizers with your drinks theres virtually no room on the table. It is for those reasons that Ive only given it a three. On the other hand it is a cute place, the service is very friendly and if you are a Red Wine Drinker Im sure you will be much happier than I was.
This is our favorite place for brunch. Wish we lived closer as we drive 45 minutes to eat here. Everything on the menu is fire🔥. Never had anything. ad amd then the mid pie at the end to top it all off. Put this place at the top of your list!
This is my favorite place! The sommelier has an extensive and creative wine list, for those that are intimidated by it you are allowed to sample anything and get a full description of your choice. The food is great for pre-dinner/event or late night bite. It’s incredibly fresh and prepared with care. The staff is small so they always remember you and your drink preferences. That’s my favorite part! It’s a small establishment which makes you feel as though you are in a friends home. It is intended for long hangouts and not necessarily large family dinners.I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful place to anyone
The Blind Monk is my favorite place to go to after work. It’s incredibly relaxing with its smooth music and calming ambiance. The sommelier there is the most professional and knowledgeable sommelier that I’ve met in west palm beach. Not only is their wine selection phenomenal and dynamic but so is their beer. My favorite food is the turkey meatballs which is served in a delicious red sauce and topped with ricotta cheese along with sliced bread. The brunch at The Monk is also one of my favorites in town. Definitely try their bacon, egg and cheese biscuit sandwich with their sour cream pancakes. It’s all incredible. Please go and stop by this place. It really is an incredibly unique and comforting place in downtown West Palm.
Best wine bar in West Palm Beach.
I was really excited about trying this place out, which may be why I was a bit let down. Its conveniently within walking distance of the brightline station, so I think it will do just fine.On this Saturday morning we scored outside seating which was quite nice, as its shaded, the surrounding architecture, and feel is quite nice. What I didnt like was that they had a trunk show kind of thing happening, which come to find is a different thing every weekend/day. So on this occasion it was a fashion designer or boutique owner, set up a few racks on either side of the store outside. Quite honestly, that didnt bother me at all, what did bother me was being interrupted by someone from the show to hand me a message pamphlet about them with some discount or another. Seriously, I saw you when I got there. If I wanted to buy clothes, I wouldnt be at a restaurant. So this was a BIG TURNOFF!!The food was good. I had a Cuban sandwich that was really good. The bread was scrumptious and it packed a bit of heat. For my son I got the buttermilk biscuits with honey and the presentation justified the cost for f $7.00 for 2 biscuits with honey. My husband had the shakshouka. He didnt feel like it was authentic but then again neither was the Cuban sandwich. You cant go to taco bell and expect authentic Mexican food. Not that this is Taco Bell by any means, but you know what I mean.Anyway, they also had a deejay spinning some tunes on Saturday morning, which quite honestly I dont know you need early when youre hungover. However, Im sure others like it, so dont mind me.A couple of weird things about this place. Theres only 1 bathroom. So, if the coffee is flowing right through you, you might end up waiting outside the door for god knows how long. The other weird thing is, it seems like the bar tender also takes care of the outside (or at least was the Saturday we went) so service was really slow to almost nonexistent. No fault of hers, its impossible to go outside and deal with 5 or 6 tables and a full bar. So, maybe management needs to help the sister out.Parking can be a bit taxing. Good luck finding something if you didnt just get off the train.
The food is wonderful! And so many wine choices. The staff is very knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect wine. We Loved it!
The Blind Monk is a great place to relax and have a nice glass of wine. Lovely, cozy decor (and a cozy couch, too!). Their food is delicious as well. They have a small menu, but everything is very tasty! I love the Shakshuka from their brunch menu and the cauliflower from their dinner menu. Very friendly service. They also have live music and host other events occasionally, such as wine glass painting or a movie night.
This place was incredible! Service was excellent, food was amazing! There were so many delicious looking things on the menu that my server had to help me out with a recommendation.
Love the cheese plates! Perfect late-night spot!
Quaint downtown West Palm Beach place to have a great wine and tapas. Great vibe to hang out! Friendly staff.
The Blind Monk is my favorite bar in WPB! I practically live there! The wine & beer selections are amazing! You can stick with a classic or try something you’ve never heard of, no matter what you choose it’ll be delicious! The staff is warm and inviting, they make you feel right at home. It’s a small place but big in positive energy! Perfect spot for a date, a girls night, or a night cap on your own. The sommelier is extremely knowledgeable and treats you like a best friend even if you know nothing about wine. Check out The Blind Monk! You won’t regret it!🥂🍷
The perfect little hideaway in West Palm! The blind monk is my go to for date night to girls night, the food is always amazing (watermelon Bahmi is a must) and the wine and beer selection is always changing. The staff is always willing to help you find the perfect wine or beer for your occasion. The live music and black and white movies make this place one of my favorite hidden gems in west palm.
One of my favorite brunch spots! Love sitting outside with friends. Their coffee is great and they actually have alternative milk for us lactose intolerant folks. The Shakshuka is so good! And I love that their menu is small but all healthy and delicious options.
I love the Blind Monk. It is one of a kind and Lauren is a gem! So many wine options etc and the food is delicious!! Everything is crafted and paired to perfection. Highly recommend!!
Beautiful place filled with kind and knowledgeable staff. Amazing wine selections and food pairings! The music was great too, just a fun place to be!
Ive been coming here for years. This place is an absolute joy to come to. The ambiance is intimate and the servers are knowledgeable and willing to make excellent recommendations. Great selection of wines and beer! Highly recommended!
First time there, like the atmosphere, the selection of the wine and drinks over there. Live music, great place to hang out with small group of friends and date.
Finally made it over to TBM and we werent disappointed. The place is adorable, staff was pleasant and the food was scrumptious!Began with iced cold brew coffee that comes with a cute little milk jug and sugar shaker. The swirly straw was nice but ended up collapsing, so it was useless once it got wet. We tried a breakfast sandwich and avocado toast...totally worth it! All the good was fresh and handmade. A great breakfast place to meet a friend, not for large groups. Very intimate.
I hope they go bankrupt with all going on, I used to like the place, even recommended it so many times, but what a big mistake, I just found out my friends and family who went there were ignored and discriminated a couple of months ago, you can see other reviews with similar situations, they seem to have a big ego and entitlement, happy now theyre are closed and hope they never return. Karma always will come back to get you.
Great cheese and wine.
Loved it but bit expensive.
