Ive been with Metro for quite some time, service is fine but on 06/14/21 I bought a new cell to replace one of my 3 cellphones. I have always have full protection on each. So I asked the lady representative at metro 908 summit store that I wanted full protection on the new phone as well, she said yes you are protected for accidental damage as well... I also buy my phones with case and tempered glass for extra protection as I did with this new unit..... On 08/02/21 my phone slipped off my hand and the screen broke on the corner, cleaning it I got a tiny cut in my thumb with a piece of the broken glass that I feared for my face or eye so I went back to the same store to claim the damage, the lady told me that my damage was protected but asked me to call the insurance and my claim a few days after was denied because the insurance told me that my cellphone was not protected.... I went back to the store and the lady said again that my phone was protected.... After spending a few hours on the phone with customer service online and driving to other 2 stores and waiting I understood that the lady did not add protection for my new phone although the store other people repeatedly told me that my unit was protected.... Additionally I was informed that I cannot buy insurance because this can only happen at time of purchase... BUYER beware there are inept sales individuals telling you that you are getting this and that and you are not and only you will find out when a problem arises and you pay the price for having no insurance although the reps repeatedly tell you that you are protected and fully....Also the manager Oscar at Bergenline ave and 58th Street is a terrible, bossy and the most arrogant customer service salesperson.....however there was Carlos at Metro at 2100 JFK and this salesperson is the kind of person all customers might want to speak with all the time.... Carlos is a natural while the others are also natural in what customer service is not.... what can one do when they show you the screen that reads bundle insurance coverage and this does not include damage.... they did confirmed however that I have accidental damage on the other 2 units.... will you be in the same bad surprise as I am?
It was really busy when I went there. The woman who tried to help me was very friendly and and knew what she was talking about. If she could have done it, she would have. The gentlemen who assisted me was very friendly and also knew what he was talking about. The store was nice and clean. Had alot of phones and accessories in stock. I was very impressed.
She fixed the problem, I had on my phone. Excellent customer service. Very pleasant and answered all my questions. Very professional and Knowledgeable when it comes to the LG 2 Stylo phone. Thank you so much. 😄

My experience at Metro PCS 58th st was very helpfull, the assitants gave me a detailed information of the procedures about how to change my phone and many plan details, very recommend, this is one of my favorite agencies.
Very rude agents here, without looking at which service I needed from Metro agent refused to show me the plans. This is not the way of any service industry. Go there only if you want to get refused to the service.
Terrible experience today with oscar he was so rude and sad because i have been a loyal customer for years he asked me for a positive review when they call i wont leave any because he new he was rude and used his colleagues log in info to close out the sale i hope your store manager reaches out to me for the pathetic service . Really inexistent customer service. They care close to nothing about your problems. The only thing they are after is selling you a new phone or accessories. The best option they gave me was to try to get a different provider. Verizon is across the street. After 7 years as a customer I might just switch.
Went to open a new account, asked the lady at the register for the price breakdown 3 times because the total was coming out higher than expected and she just said the extra is from tax. When I checked the receipt later, she had added insurance to 2 of the phones without asking or letting us know she was doing so. Smh, please teach your employees to disclose all info to customers; I had to call customer service to get the insurance removed because it would cost an extra $16 per month?? How can you have employees who lie right to the customers face about something like that?
Bad customer service. Manager and attendants acting like if they are doing favors to customers instead of treating people nicely because as customers we pay them. They lost my business today. Try another store, dont go to this one. To make things worst there was no A/C and it was hot inside.

There is no effort to service a customer over the phone. In fact, store reps hung up the phone on me twice. One rep, whom I think said her name was Chantal, refused to answer any question about who the rep was that hung up first. She tried to spin my inquiry off by avoiding it. Upon asking for manager, she claimed mgr was busy. Finally after fighting to get one question in about phone availability, she claimed she had to check the back office, then put me on hold before rudely hanging up. If there was any concerns for helping me, then someone should have called me back. TERRIBLE SERVICE over the phone, so is that a strategy to get customers in the store, again HORRIBLE!!!
You dont want to deal with dealer. You deal with factory sgore lime this. Even so.. staff try to sell upsell without any explaination. Watch before pay

Do not deal with Oscar.He is rude and has an attitude with customers.If he fixes your phone he will say he is doing you a favor and direct you to the manufacturer of the phone.Edit: Thanks so much for reaching out Selena, the problem has been resolved and the new phone works. They have a machine outside the store to pay for the phone, I have 3 months paying and they never have paper to give as receipt, it is illegal, if you pay they have to give you a receipt for your payment, report it to the police of the area, it is illegal what They do, I should not pay more if I go inside the store, when they provide something for the customer outside.
