This is our new favorite ice cream shop. They use local brands and they are all delicious. The staff is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. We love The Scoop!

Loved it! Love that they serve both Aggie and BYU flavors (and they serve BYU brownies!!), especially since I don’t want to drive all the way to Logan to finally try Aggie Ice Cream. Also so many different cone options and love that it’s drive-thru and quick! Need more of these around Utah!!

We went through the drive through a couple days ago. Disappointing from usual. The scoops were half the size and melting. Not hard packed ice cream and very small. What happened?

My wife is truly addicted to this place. The ice cream is very good. The only real issue is that the quantity of ice cream given for a double scoop varies dramatically between visits, from a massive heap in a cup (which we appreciate) to a really paltry serving that looks more like a single. They should really fix that!

This place was better then expected. The ice cream is creamy and fill of flavor. Come at night and you can see a mini light show while waiting in line. Mid afternoon I have never waited in line, but I have seen the line in the evenings. If you see it dont leave, it is worth the wait.

The favorite ice cream flavors from the creameries at BYU and USU. They are fantastic and you can find a new favorite every time you come! Theres so many delicious options, like Aggie Blue mint, fluffernutter, and Roses sneakerdoodle! Plus the brownies and cookies are awesome!

So fun at Christmas! The light tunnel was a big hit with our kids and Aggie ice cream is always a good idea!

My daughter worked for The Scoop. There were some issues with payment and Alex, the owner, corrected the situation right away. The ice cream is very good! Definitely should try it.

**Edited**First off the ice cream here is really good.We had had some minor issues here one night with the younger kids working but after bringing them up to Alex he was very accommodating and took great care of us. We will be returning soon!

We loved it until they changed the menu. You used to be able to get a baby scoop for $1.00 but now the cheapest option is $2.50. Such a bummer! We will not be going back.

Delicious icecream! Its creamy and flavorful. I bought huckleberry and its amazing. I look forward to going back and trying more flavors! There have a drive through window or a walk in. You also have the option to buy a carton of icecream to take home. Waffle cones are available. I highly recommend trying this place out!

How you get a scoop of ice cream and a cone wrong is hilarious.Its ran by middle school children.They get extremely excited when a schoolmate stops by, and of course the reason you are there is to watch the children behave (as they should) like they are hanging out at the ice cream parlor.Its a long drive, but Ill go to Farrs, because they are far better. (Dad joke but oh so true)

I went through the drive through, (not sure if there is an inside portion) and it was great. When you go make sure you tune your radio to their station because at this time of year they have a light show to go along with the Christmas music. Also make sure you try the Aggie Blue Mint, its amazing!#aggiesalltheway

Its fun to get USU aggie ice cream and BYU creamery ice cream in salt lake. There are a couple dozen flavors. Price is right. Scoop entrance is really cute

Such a cool ice cream place! i love that they have a drive thru, makes it super convenient! i also love all the lights they have around it at night, super pretty! i tried the graham canyon ice cream flavor and it was delicious! super yummy and creamy! i would definitely recommend that flavor if you’re a graham cracker lover! i also tried aggie chocolate and it was also good but also tasted like any other chocolate ice cream. the drive thru took a little long and it was busy, it is a bit pricey but i would go back to try new flavors!

The kid was snarky and had an attitude for whatever reason, and to top it off, I found on my receipt that he gave himself a 15% tip without even asking me! Good ice cream but hear me out, you should never add a 15% tip to every order WITHOUT asking!I would have 100% givin the guy a tip but its terrible business practice to hurry and give yourself a tip without asking the customer 1st, not sure if its the whole company or just the one guy that does this but watch out when you go here! I cannot recommend this shop.

Absolutely amazing! I was so happy to discover this hidden gem. We went through the drive thru but when he told us about the 80’s lounge upstairs we parked and got out to check it out. Super fun activity with the family. Great date idea for teenagers too.

This was the first time I have been here but Ive driven past many times. The idea to turn an old car wash into a drive thru ice cream shop is very unique. The ice cream is pretty good and there are lots of options. Prices werent bad either.

This is an interesting place; it’s a car wash converted into an ice cream shop. You drive through what used to be a car wash lane. They used to be located in the building directly next door and today was the first day of operations in the new location. Because it was the first day in the new location, they didn’t have all menu options available, just ice cream cones. We had been hoping for a shake. But the cones were delicious! It is Aggie/BYU creamery ice cream and it is thick and cream and delicious! I wanted to try the Earnestly Chocolate and was disappointed to find out they were out. The girl serving us checked again and said she could scrape the bottle of the bucket and give me about half a scoop of the remaining Earnestly Chocolate. I also got the Cookies and Cream. The cookies and cream was amazing, and at the bottom of my cone was about two bites of the Earnestly Chocolate, and it was excellent. So creamy and delicious! Those two bites were heavenly. I will return to get it again. I really appreciated her going out of her way for me to sample it. My husband was equally impressed with his cookie dough ice cream and expressed that it had been a long time since we’d had ice cream that good. Next time we’ll get shakes!

If you want tons of ice cream this is the place to go! Their scoops are huge! Enough to share and more. Their prices are not bad either ..the only thing I saw that I didnt like is that they dont have a lot of flavors! They do have BYU ice cream though. But they dont have some of the flavors that they displayed... It depends on the day I guess. Their ice is very creamy and rich! They also have cookies. Their drive thru goes fairly fast.

Delicious and quick service! We tried the Mint Brownie and the Strawberry Sunday. Each cone was garnished with a yummy waffle wedge. We def will be coming back.UPDATE: We came back 2 days later to try Earnestly Chocolate and True Aggie Night..sooo delicious! At this rate, The Scoop! will be a weekly tradition.

Fun little shop, but surprisingly big. We first thought it was a drive through, but they have the traditional scoop area inside with seating and karaoke upstairs. They have both Aggie and BYU icecream flavors. Their menu is clever. Service was quick and personable.

We love this place! Super friendly staff & super yummy ice cream! Weve tried chocolate, cookies and cream, caramel pecan, mint brownie, lemon custard & graham canyon. They have a bunch more flavors, so well have to keep coming back. Bonus: they put a piece of stroopwafel on each cone for a sweet touch.

I wish I knew about this place sooner! If you love Aggie or BYU ice cream, but want to avoid the long drive to get it, this is the place for you! My personal favorite is grahmn canyon- its amazing! A single scoop is $3, and if you want to take it home, a half gallon of any flavor is $10. The lounge upstairs is a lot of fun, and there are 4 arcade games that are free to play.

We have always loved the BYU and USU creameries. We were SOOOOO excited when we found this place! They have some really fun retro places to hang out and enjoy your ice cream, but the drive through has made this spot a dangerously common stop for us! Their mini scoops are the perfect little treat without feeling too guilty. Plus, if youve never tried a stroop waffle, it will replace the cherry on top in every way.

This place is amazing! We got the Aggie Blue Mint with brownie and it was delicious! I would recommend this place to anyone.

The scoop was a strange looking building, but the staff were friendly and offered samples as we walked through the door. My friend and I were very pleased with the ice cream and wide variety and I would certainly stop here again.

So refreshing to get some REALLY GOOD scooped ice cream instead of fro yo. And can I just say, Graham Canyon anyone?? Yum. I’ll be back lots and lots.

Its nice to be able to get icecream from the BYU creamery and the Aggie one too right in the middle so you dont have to travel. The ice cream is great and its not too crowded. Theres a themed lounge upstairs for more seating and a great hangout place.

This is our first time to this ice cream shop.5 stars for the ice cream. We were happily surprised to find their flavors are from the Aggie and BYU creameries, as those are the two schools our family roots for.3 stars for the location. We knew it would be a drive through, but still hoped to find some seating, as it was only 50 degrees outside, and I wouldnt let the kids eat in the vehicle. I didnt find any seating, so I put the ice cream in our cupholders (they did give me cups with the cones, thank you!), and drove away.Service was friendly and helpful, they handed me a menu as the car behind me didnt like me stopping by the big banner with the flavor descriptions.Ill bring the whole family back when its warmer and I can look for the seating then.
