Tried taking my daughters car in elsewhere to fix a gear shift issue and they were not able to fix it. found M1 Auto online and it had a lot of good reviews so i gave them a shot and i can see why they have a lot of good reviews. they were up front with all the cost and are really honest which is hard to find nowadays. a week later same car had the ac blowout and i parked it in there parking lot and told them what happened and they were able to take care of it in a timely manner and kept me updated. had them fix other things on the car last minute while they were already working on it and it was no issue for them. will recommend them to everyone

The owner was so great! We rented a U-haul trailer from them. Completely went the extra mile and even helped us with the wiring on our vehicle when we couldnt get the trailer lights working. That alone will bring me back to the shop when I need vehicle repairs. Thanks so much, Mike!

I have been taking my cars to M1 auto for several years now. Mike, the owner, has an extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of automotive repair. With M1 Auto, I never have to take my car back because it was not fixed right or because they fixed the wrong thing. This is a rare thing in my experience in dealing with auto mechanics, including dealership repair departments. When one goes to a dealership, you do not get to talk to the mechanic that actually made the repairs. You have to talk to the service manager. I like dealing with Mike because he explains in detail what was repaired and why the repair was necessary. The prices at M1 Auto are very reasonable. M1 saves me time and money. I have two Toyotas with over 150,000 miles on them and, with Mikes help, they just keep running like new.

Mike and his team were great to work with. They fixed my battery problem quickly and it was a nice surprise to get a text a few days after to make sure everything was good. Definitely recommend!

When it comes to mechanics weve had our fair share of being ripped off, choosing a mechanic that you feel you can trust and hell get the job done quickly and inexpensively is a bit of a daunting task.Weve had Mike do oil changes and other smaller jobs, so when our roters needed some serious attention I scheduled with Mike online for the next day. When I dropped it off I shared Id need to go pickup my little one, and they had it done an hour earlier then the estimated time. I was thrilled. While he was working on the car he shared that he saw our suspension needed some attention, like an overhaul really. Its got over 100,000 miles so I want surprised by the news. I told him wed get back to him.So, when our plastic covering under the car was ripped off I called Mike and shared we were planning a cross country trip and needed our plastic replaced. He shared with me that the plastic piece was the least of our worries. He got us in and quickly, took care of our suspension at a reasonable price and time.He even checked in with is to see how things were running. We feel that he and his family run an honest establishment.

I did my brakes for both of my cars here and they took care of the problems at a good price. I will keep going there because theyre honest and do good work.

I had my car get towed over to this shop early Friday morning. There were a lot of problems with the brakes on my car enough that I couldnt drive. With all the problems they had the car finished on Monday night at a really fair price. I havent had any more problems with my brakes since I came here.

I took my car in with a battery issues. Mike was able to diagnose the issue, and explain the probable causes.The replacement battery wasnt in stock, but Mike was able to find the battery elsewhere, and his wife ran out to pick it up. Waiting the extra 30min for the battery, as opposed to coming back at a later time, was much more convenient for me, so I appreciated the extra effort, and didnt mind the wait.All in all and great experience!

I wish Id found these guys sooner. They replaced a flex plate in my minivan that was busted. We took it in Monday morning and had it back (and quiet) on Tuesday afternoon. They were also able to drill out and replace a broken bolt holding a crossmember in place that other mechanics couldnt or wouldnt try to get out.Thanks, Mike and team!👍😁

This is officially my new mechanic! They have such warm and welcoming people there. Most importantly honest and integrity is what they value! They were up front and honest with me about my breaks. I needed new pads in both the front and rear and new rotaries in the front. They got all that done and only charged me 460! Not to mention my card was getting declined and they went the extra mile by giving me a ride up the street to the bank! The only complaint I have is their mechanic left footprints on my floor and I wouldve appreciated that vacuumed but thats it! These guys are awesome!

Mike really knows all about Vehicles. Very upfront and honest about everything. I knew my 2005 Honda Pilot needed repairs and they really completed all the work in a timely manner and gave me back the vehicle in great shape. My Engine light went on 2 weeks after repairs and they apologized for their technology not catching the air intake valve, they charged me the price of the product but did not charge me for labor to fix it. Pretty respectable action.I wish Id have found them sooner. Will recommend Mike and his staff to everyone I meet needing repairs.

Mike and his business are great. I have had Mike work on my 04 Mustang multiple times. He fixed my oil pan after I had already started the repair and realized it was over my head.  He was the only person in the valley that was willing to fix it.  He also went above and beyond; offering to take me to work and pick me up if it wasnt finished in the quoted time. Most recently he replaced my front suspension; which almost ended up being a whole front end replacment with all the repairs needed.  Im very happy with how smooth my front end feels now and how fairly priced it was.  I will definately have Mike repair my rear end suspension. Thanks again for all the hard and honest work you guys have done for me and I highly recommend this small business over anyone in the SLC.

This is a great shop!! I had to get my engine replaced on my 2012 GMC Yukon XL. Mike and Elizabeth were wonderful. They helped me and kept me informed during the process. They answered all the questions I had and were so helpful. I had gotten 3 quotes from different shops and 2 of them actually wanted to charge me more money for a used engine. Im so happy and pleased that I decided to do business with M1 Auto. I recommended M1 Mato to my parents who have an older model Acura that needed some work done. They fixed the issues in less than an hour and didnt even charge them for labor. Both our cars run beautifully!! I appreciate having a good and honest mechanic. Ive already recommended M1 Auto to other members of my family and my friends!!

Mike and his staff were super helpful! My car had a few issues that wouldn’t let me pass emissions. Mike ran a diagnostic test and guarantees that he can pin point the problem. He even took off some of the total repair cost after he found that he didn’t need to do as much work as he originally thought. In the end, they had to replace some ignition coils, spark plugs, and one of the manifold gaskets. Mike even drove down to the place where I had my emissions inspection (ie Speedway Emissions, they are great too! Referred me to M1 Auto Repair) and they got it passed! When I came to pick up the car, that was all done! Very nice of him to do that. Honestly, finding a good and honest mechanic is hard nowadays. Mike definitely fits that criteria. He recommended some repair with the motor mount too. Just wear and tear on the car. But he was honest and said that could wait a couple of years if I drive smoothly and just overall take decent care of the car. I’d go back again!

Mike was great. I brought an older car in to have it made road worthy for a family member who was without transportation. Mike analyzed the cars needs sent me a text that was liked to pictures, description of repairs & costs. I could approve each item individually . The list was long & prioritized. Timeliness was great. I took my husbands car in to have the brakes inspected. Often Ill ask for the mechanic to show me what pieces theyre replacing when I get the estimate, but I forgot and was pleasantly surprised when Mike invited me back to look at the brakes and rotors and was able to show me their condition and what needed replacement. This is a very transparent and honest family run business and Id recommend it to anyone in need of repairs.

Took my car in there for an oil change and had them look at my breaks and mike the mechanic fixed the breaks and rotors in the back that was grinding but he didnt stop there he also replaced my front pads for free. (Didnt have to but he did thanks mike you are a good guy and I dont know how to thank you for doing that but say thank you.) Michael and his Wife Lizee are amazing! I called in to actually receive a quote on the U Haul trucks they had available. Unfortunately they didnt have the correct sized truck that I needed- as I was doing a last minute request for the day before. However, they were willing to not only instruct me on how to get the best option. Lizee ended up reserving the U Haul for me on their site. Great customer service! Without any expectations of pay, that was impressive to me.

*Not about the Auto place just Uhaul*We rented a Uhaul from this place. Trying to get it back in is a joke. There is a really small space through the fence you have to put it in. You have to go straight in by driving up over the curb on a very small space in front of the store. The guy that owes the place ended up parking it for me.

Its a small area to get into the business. People are nice and we got our truck to move as needed.

We went over to this mechanic shop to tow a Vehicle to the dealership .The mechanic on duty was very polite an understood that Ford had a recall on the problem that she had with her car .
