I took my car to Higgins Body & Paint in West Jordan after a car accident and it was the best decision! They were kind and attentive. Melanie was so sweet and kept me updated the entire time. I also received text messages with an update link where I could see the timeline of my car’s progress. After letting Melanie know that we were leaving on vacation soon, they were also able to accommodate our dates and had our car ready two days early! I can now go on my trip with peace of mind, my car looks brand new, and it was cleaned up inside. I expected this process to be such a hassle and it ended up being stress-free! We have used Higgins before. When I indicated to my claims adjuster that I wanted Higgins to perform the repair I was informed that because Higgins is a trusted partner with my insurance company, I would not need a meeting with a claims adjuster. Higgins initial quote was approximately $3700, but once I dropped the vehicle off for repair, the estimate was updated to about $4400. Sig, my repair coordinator, took the time to explain why the estimate had been increased. There was one slight hitch in the process as one of the parts needed for repair was sold out from under us, but they still managed to complete the repairs 5 days prior to the original estimated date. The quality of the work was superb, and its nearly impossible to tell that there was a repair. Considering that the vehicle is 10 years old, its always hard to match the paint as all paint fades some over time. I consider Higgins to be the premier auto body repair shop in the SW corner of Salt Lake County and unreservedly recommend them. They are fast, professional, and kept me informed at every step of the journey.

I have been to Higgins locations 3 different times and each time they have been very helpful, and up front about what needed to be done. And this last time after a front end collision we thought everything was good but my car started to over heat. They took care of me and communicated with my insurance company to get everything fixed. It turned out to be a rely they would not habe known had been damage in the accident.

Higgins has always done excellent work. Sig was my adjuster. Someone left the windows down at a third party shop during my repair .During the heavy rain. I called them and notifed them about the mildew smell in my car when it was returned to me.Sig and there team too action right away. Got me setup in a rental within a half hour and I was on my way.Called and gave me up to date information about the progress of my car.I have no doubt that I will have better looking interior than I had before.Things happen and The Higgins team made the unfortunate events seem effortless and professional.I appreciate the whole staff and especially Sig for being attentive and helpful.

Higgins Body & Paint has done a few things for our company and one of our managers. We were so impressed with the quality and service that we have been referring them to our customers for quite some time. I was impressed when I arrived for my appraisal appointment, so I scheduled a time to do an insurance repair & fix some problems that I would pay for personally.When I arrived home, I realized that they did not repair everything that was on the estimate that I approved. I also noticed that they had overcharged me 1 ½ hours of labor for the one thing on the estimate that they did repair. I emailed Bryce, the manager, with my concerns. No response. Called & talked to Melanie, she just kept repeating that she had “saved me money” when I asked why they didn’t do all the repairs. I don’t quite understand the logic of that answer. Said she would look into the 1 ½ hour overcharge and call me back. Still waiting for the call. We no longer recommend Higgins Body & Paint to our customers. You might want to think twice before doing business with them also.I changed my rating from a 1 star to a 4 star because of the owner. Mr. Gerald Higgins called and apologized for his employees “dropping the ball”, as he put it. He also mailed a refund check for the labor that Melanie had overcharged me. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Higgins. My Subaru Crosstrek (my baby) was rear-ended and needed a bumper job. They replaced and its as if it never happened. They also did it super fast - I dropped it off Thursday and it was done Friday evening. Melanie is truly THE BEST. She was nice and so good to keep me in the loop. She also gave me some touch up paint that I could use for a little ding I had on my hood. Such good service.I was working through my insurance and they provided the Enterprise close by as my rental company and they were a little bit of a joke. I called a couple days before to confirm we were good for Thursday morning and they said no problem, to just call when I was 10 minutes away. I called when I was 30 minutes away with no answer. I walked into Higgins with my phone on speaker, still waiting, and they told me to just hang up and that they would take me to Enterprise. Wow!Would recommend these guys to anyone.Two pictures are of the before.

Excellent repair shop, very professional and understanding. I was shocked how fast they could get me in for a bid and the repair it. Said it would be a week to repair took three days. Couldnt have been more pleased. Have used them professionally in business vehicles, but this was my personal vehicle.Best shop in Salt Valley !!!

I found this body shop after my Nissan got backed into by looking up nissan certified collision repair. Insurance took care of everything so I cant speak of cost but speed of service was amazing! I dropped my vehicle off on a Tuesday and they had the new door replaced, painted and blended to perfection by Friday before end of business. Being nissan certified, they got the new parts direct from nissan.When I picked up my vehicle it was cleaned and detailed inside better than my truck has seen since new. I can recommend this body shop enough. The pics will speak for themselves.

I had a dent in the right-rear quarter panel of my 2019 Tundra from a slight jack-knifing with a travel trailer, including some rub-off from the trailer, and they were able to make it look as good as new without needing to repaint. Bryce was excellent to work with and the price was better than expected. My truck was ready earlier than promised, and I am glad to recommend Higgins to anyone needing some quality body work done on their vehicle.

The process of repair from start to finish was flawless. My insurance Allstate set up the appointment and I had a rental waiting when I dropped off. When I first had the work done on my car it was OK. But know the front bumper is slipping off, and they just dont care to fix it, I took it like a month and a half ago and they havent even called me or anything I was told a week I waited and nothing so I called 3 weeks ago and they told me that they would call me and again nothing, thats just not caring for there customers and here I am scared the bumper is going to fall off any minute. I dont even want to call anymore because I just feel ignored.

Everyone at Higgins was extremely helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. There was a slight delay in the repairs of my vehicle, but they communicated the setback promptly. Their repairs were seamless and perfect, you would never know my car was in an accident.

We were told our car should take 2 to 3 days to paint an area above our rear window where the wiper had scratched the paint off. We left it one morning and got a call the next morning saying we needed to come pick our car up, it was finished and waiting. You can not tell anything was ever wrong, the car is beautiful and we are surprised to have it back sooner than expected.

They were great. Putting a car in for repairs is inconvenient, but the customer service was over the top. I will be recommending people to check them out if they need this service.

I’ve had a few different jobs done here. Always impressed with how responsive the staff is. Always do quality work as well. No complaints with any of the work I’ve had done. Sometimes when you call in there is some wait time. I’ve always assumed they are just busy because they do such good work that people go there to get repairs done.

I took my car into Higgins Body & Paint after I was read ended. The estimate was fast, & safe due to covid-19. When I took in my vehicle, the front desk was super nice & friendly. They sanitized the pen I used which I thought was very thoughtful. The service man who worked on my car gave me a call a few days in letting me know that they would need to keep my car longer due to more damages revealed after taking the car apart. He was also super nice & made sure I felt comfortable with the changes that needed to be made. They actually finished before the finish estimate date they gave me which was awesome. The car looks brand new with my new bumper. Im super happy with the service. I will come back if I ever need service on my car again!

She does what she can to help you out financially and she always calls before moving forward if it’s going to stray from what the estimate was. My family and myself have used these guys quite a few times whether we have been hit or had a car that got thrashed when it was stolen. Had some scratches on the rear bumper of my vehicle. Higgins did an amazing job. From the time I walked in till they handed me the keys they took care of me. Customer service and workmanship are both top notch. I would definitely use them again and in fact I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

I was in an accident and the other persons insurance referred me to Higgins. I showed up and Misty was extremely rude, short, dismissive, unhelpful and unprofessional. I ended up calling the insurance company and they sent me somewhere else that immediately was able to see me and were kind and helpful. While they may do good work (according to other reviews) I would NEVER work with them due to her unprofessionalism.

Sig, who helped me, had my car resprayed just to make sure the paint matched just right with the rest of my vehicle.

Higgins was awesome to work with. Having my new car crashed into was no fun. Someone recommended Higgins to me. They were great to work with and got my car in right away. I got my car back today and it looks like new again! When I picked up my car it had been washed and vacuumed. The staff was friendly and great at communicating. They were forthcoming about pricing and had my car finished two days sooner than expected! I am very happy with the service they provided. I would highly recommend them.

They did amazing work. You would never know I had body damage.

They got my car fixed after I was hit and it looks good. The only thing I am not happy about is that my grill got thrown out and it was brand new, I dont feel like this should be allowed to happen. I am very upset about this experiencei dont feel like the technicians should be allowed to throw out whatever that is not theirs.

This has been the best experience I’ve ever had at a car repair replace. Usually being a women I always feel I get taken advantage of and just get overwhelmed. They’re me feel comfortable answered my questions and corrected information I was given by someone else that was incorrect. Fantastic car repair shop! They went above and beyond, our Nissan had a rear bumper due to an accident not caused by us, Higgins got the bid in within less than a day, and only took about 3 days total for the full repair, now when I say full repair, they did the WHOLE rear end of the vehicle, and they also cleaned the exterior and interior to close of a perfect shine which we did not expect would happen, they are super professional and highly recommend them

Through the years, Higgins has been my first choice for auto body repair. Staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful; and the turn around time always exceeds my expectations.They just completed body work on my Mercedes-Benz E-Class. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company, which is greatly appreciated. Shauna was my estimator and communicated daily via text to update me on status. When they had trouble getting the blind spot monitors to recalibrate, Shauna called me to inform me about the additional parts needed and the additional time requirement to finish the repair.Overall another great experience!

I have an invisable car, so Ive been rear ended twice within a 2 month period, both times they saved my whole life! They are through and do an impeccable job. Both times it was a five day repair which I feel like is kind of a long time, and their drop off hours are 8AM-10AM (if I remember right) which was hard because Im typically already at work at that point, which made drop off hard for me. But they do have a drop off which saved me, I just wasnt able to use a rental car because of it. But again, great company and if rather wait and have it done right. Also the front desk lady Misty was super sweet! AND they have the worlds best water bottles! Photo was before, the after is like new!

I am happy that State Farm suggested Higgins for the repair. Higgins was very friendly and followed through on everything. Melanie gave me the assurance that everything was under control and would happen. I was concerned that the color and shade would be off. Turns out the car was beautiful. The cameras were synced and the seams were aligned. Their people are obviously trained and experienced. The whole process was a good experience.

Fixing my car for a finder bender

My car was hit in a parking lot and once the insurance got squared away Higgins was at the top of my list of options. I had heard good things from a friend so I thought I give them a try. They got in contact with me very quickly and remained in constant contact throughout the repair. I appreciated knowing how far along my car was and they got it back to me in the predicted time frame. I’ve been taking Cars & Trucks to Higgins for a long time. They went above & beyond this time. My hubby had a pallet of bagged flooring material slide into his back window that shattered it as well as damaged the bed of the truck. Got it back and it looks AMAZING!!!They were communicative and very helpful.

The lovely people that work here are very accommodating and personable. You feel valued as a customer and not just like a wallet. It took a little longer than expected to get my car fixed for reasons they could not control (GM strike). Would definitely come back, but hopefully I don’t have to.
