Booked an appointment online to repair my phone. A gentleman from Geek-Squad helped me out named Stirling. Very helpful. Walked me through step by step as to what was going to be done. Gave me a time frame, and was actually finished before that. Was in and out of there in a decent amount of time. Don’t expect to be a 10min thing cause it’s not. Needed a tv at a decent price. I wasnt sure what I needed but, the salesman was very understanding. We got on the phone to my son who explained what I was looking for and he helped me find it. When he didnt know the answer he wasnt afraid to ask for help. Which makes him brilliant in my eyes. Took me to all I asked for even though it wasnt really much. I would like Best Buy Corporation to fund money into getting decent bathrooms. The mens bathroom toilet paper is hanging on the coat hook inside the bathroom stall. Not a good look for the store customers and associates who need to use these facilities daily.How can Best Buy improve? Upgrade the bathroom facilities by adding a toilet paper holder dispenser and get fast air drying machines to help avoid paper waste.

High prices and not too educated customer service people walking around. Most employees seem like young high schoolers and not trained on the areas they work in. Next to no one knew anything about financing options as well as what you can do with the best buy credit card. They have great products just overpriced and hard to get good service. You also have to spend at least 300.00 to use your best buy credit card fyi. πŸ’³

I usually Iove going to Best Buy! It’s the place to go to if you need to find anything related with technology. However today I had an encounter with Brayden. Horrible customer service. My mom doesn’t speak English very well but I’m always next to hear in case she needs me to explain something for her. We came to make a card payment and he said that he wasn’t able to enter to my moms account. She had her card with her. I don’t know how Best Buy can have people like him not willing to help someone or to tell them how to enter those number in the keypad. Body language maybe can help? Anyways I hope they do a better training for him.

Best Buy is a big box electronics store just a notch above Target or Wal-Mart in my book.They have these pick-up options and a user friendly online ordering interface that makes their service SEEM very convenient.If the systems in the store worked efficiently and the IN-STOCK labels were not placed on items that are actually not yet available in the selected store it would certainly help meet the expectations set by the online experience.Unfortunately my experience with the in-store staff and systems have never created a 5 star experience for me despite the fact that if Im walking into a best buy Im probably spending $200 or more per visit.Being in the local Best-Buy feels like being at a Wal-Mart where the displays and employees are dressed up just a little nicer. Its hard to find anyone who is available and able to answer technical questions about even the most popular products i.e. Samsung and Apple. And Ive on two occasions been told by the online interface that an item is in-stock in the store only to order it and then be told it will be available for pickup in 3 or 4 days.On my last visit, I dealt with a cashier who told me that they indeed had the item that I had ordered available in the store, but despite me having an email saying it was ready for pickup, she would not be able to make the item ready for pickup because of how their staging process works after I had changed the pickup person on the order ....I was non-plussed by the entire experience, spent several hundred dollars, got almost all the items I had ordered, and left regretting my decision to do business with a brick and mortar store.

Mask mandate is lifted in Utah. Was asked to leave for not wearing a mask. I was in the store for 20 minutes without a mask, had my merchandise and was in the process of checking out when I was asked to leave. What a joke. Fear Mongers exercising power, nothing more. Im done with Best Buy for good. Every item in this store is a luxury item sold elsewhere including online. Why chase off customers for your politics? Happy to give my money to someone else.

I’ve been trying to buy a Fisher & Paykel refrigerator since last Thursday, I called Best Buy a guy on the phone went to transfer me but did not put any transfer code so the system asked me to put in a transfer code to the correct department, which I didn’t have. I decided to chat with an β€œexpert” on their site and he asked me to go to any physical store and that they would be able to help me place my order.When I arrived to the store the guy who is in the appliance section let us know that he couldn’t place the order at this particular store because it was a high-end appliance and that the only store in Utah that could help me was the South Salt Lake store. It was too late for me to make it because I work until 6pm and now they close at 7 pm, so I called Best Buy the next day before leaving to the store and the person on the phone told me that I have to contact Magnolia Pacific Sales to order a high-end fridge and that I wouldn’t be able to place my order at the store. She said that due to the time change they were already closed and that I should give them a call the next day. I called the Pacific Sales store the next day and it was closed for the day.I called today, Monday, to Magnolia Pacific Sales and they told me they only sell TVs. I called Best Buy again and a lady told the product it’s back order and that she couldn’t place an order for it. She said she couldn’t understand why nobody told me this before.I had to talk to 6 different employees for them to tell me I cannot place an order. For some people, time is precious.

I ordered curb side. Said it would be ready to pick up in an hour. After an hour I called customer support because this location is still not taking phone calls even though there were at least 10 employees standing around chatting. The customer service rep. Said she would look at why my order was being held up and then the phone was disconnected. I had my teenager drive me to the Jordan Landing Best Buy since my ankle is broken and Im in crutches. The nice guy at the door offered me a wheel chair and he was able to locate my order. He gets a five star rating but as far as the rude lady by the front doors a zero and this location that has a ton of employees standing around with their fingers in their nose not looking busy it gets a huge fat zero! Their curbside is a joke when they dont have motivated employees to pull the orders.

There are always a ton of staff around the store to help direct you to where youre going and to discuss different products with you. The staff are helpful but not overbearing which is really nice. The store is well organized and its easy to find what you are looking for even without staffs help though. They are great with doing price match and will even help you look up prices online to see if they can match something for you!

When I had to interrupt their conversation to ask my question, they seemed put out that I bothered them, answered my question with a single NO and then went back to their conversation. Just purchased a Samsung A52 5g Phone. Before purchasing we told them the features we needed from a phone that would be a deal breaker. One feature was wireless charging. The salesperson assured us this phone had it. I asked to see that in writing. She printed the features out, but said the printout was bad. Never did see it in writing but was assured it would wirelessly charge. After one and a half hours in the store setting up the phone, Got home and found it does not support it. Went back to the store and the sales person said sorry, we can exchange it, but you will have to pay the 45$ restocking fee. We talked to the manager and he said he would wave the fee! My wife just gave up in disgust and said we would just keep the phone.THANKS best buy for a great experience for a formerly regular customer.

I havent been in a Best Buy in ages. But I was pleasantly surprised by the service. I had my car worked on to install a deck, steering wheel controls, and back up camera. There was a hick up with the install, but I was able to reschedule and get it fixed relatively quickly. The only downside was that I wish I could have called and spoke with someone when I had a problem, but it was easy enough to just schedule another appointment.

I have been a big advocate and supporter of Best Buy for a long time. Today I received an email directly from Best Buy about a cyber Monday flash sale. When you click the link it shows the sale is going to continue for X amount of hours, minutes, seconds… And has a continuous countdown. I proceeded to click the link and look at the sales, and there was a sale on Apple AirPods for $99. This same price and sale was advertised on multiple websites as well for a cyber Monday deal at Best Buy. I drove over to the store and when I got to Best Buy they proceeded to tell me that the sale was over. However, clicking the link in my email it still says the sale is going on for another 8+ hours. They then proceeded to tell me that the Apple flash sale was a separate flash sale for cyber Monday and was only for a very short window, Despite nothing on the email stating as such. I asked to speak with a manager who then told me there is nothing they could do for me and that they were sorry. There was zero attempt to try and help or rectify the situation or price match their own sale. Extremely poor customer service!

The internet said there was no in-store shopping at this location so I made a purchase and headed to pick it up with curbside. The site gave excellent instructions for using curbside pickup...mainly, dont head up that way until I received an email saying my order was ready.When I did arrive, their immigration had plenty of shopping traffic going on and out of their store so the site isnt superb at syncing with the most recent details.I waited less than 6 minutes, and the mount was brought to my car.Very prompt and efficient service.
